Easyrider From Hoi An To Hai Van Pass One Day Loop With Mr Thong

Our group of 6 really enjoyed our tour! It was a great way to see Hai Van surrounding areas. The guides were friendly and the lunch spot was yummy. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is interested!!!

Our favourite day in Vietnam so far! Such an adventure riding the Hai Van Pass on the back of the bikes. Our guides Minh and Phuoc were amazing. So friendly, gave us history and information about all the different sites. We saw so much more than just the Hai Van Pass. We drove through the countryside, fishing villages, duck farms. A very unique experience. 10/10 would recommend!

I had a fantastic time on Mr Thong’s Hai Van Pass tour. I did the tour on my own but luckily one other fellow traveller booked on. Either way I would have had a great time – great countryside, good mix between touring and visiting local sites. I felt safe and looked after from 8am to 6pm. 100% recommend!!

Although I do ride a motorbike very rarely as a passenger. Need not have worried. Mr Thống (Tommy) was brilliant. Very professional. I was 100% relaxed after a couple of minutes and sat back and enjoyed the view. We stopped at some amazing spots to take pics and learn a lot more about the countryside, its history and culture. I now appreciate a lot more the significance of the Hai Van Pass and the history that has made Vietnam what it is. All delivered in a relaxed and fun way. We had a fantastic experience with Thong! He was extremely patient given the weather conditions on the day of the tour. He also gave us all the necessary weather equipment such as jackets, raincoats etc which made us feel comfortable during the bike ride. Amazing experience. I'll never forget how we ascended a mountain in the pouring rain from a passing typhoon. He offered to move the tour to better weather but we wanted to keep it the same day. He brought safety and weather gear so we felt safe and dry for the whole.

Our trip with Thong was an absolute highlight in our holiday in Vietnam. We did a self-driving trip from Hoi An to Hue. Thong drove a second bike himself with our luggage. He took us through beautiful non-tusristic places, with awesome views. His english is far from perfect, but he makes up for it with an incredibly kind personality and a huge passion for showing his beautiful country with others. Thong is fully flexible and adapted the trip to what we cared most in seeing, often asking what we wanted to do. We visited Dragon Bridge, Marble Mountain, multiple secluded places in the nature like a beautiful waterfall, and of course the Han Van Pass. I would highly recommend his tour to anyone seeking for an adventure in Vietnam to get to know the landscape, nature and monuments better.

We had the best day seeing the country side by motorbike. Safe, interesting and incredible views. Met all of our needs. Lunch at the beach was fresh and delicious, a seafood feast that was ordered en route and ready within minutes of our arrival. Swimming at the waterfall was fun. Would highly recommend. Two couples, with three as pillion passengers and one rider. Bikes comfortable and rain did not deter us due to provision of wet weather gear. Plenty of photo opportunities and rest stops.

We booked the 1-day Countryside & Hai Van Pass tour with Mr T and it was fantastic! The tour usually includes a stop at Marble Mountains, but since we had already visited before, Mr T kindly adjusted the itinerary for us. Instead, he took us to more stunning viewpoints in the countryside and along the Hai Van Pass – which were absolutely amazing. The lunch stop was perfect, right on the beach with not only beautiful views but also truly delicious food. The waterfall stop was another highlight, a great way to cool off on a warm day. Overall, it was a brilliant trip – well organised, flexible, and full of great experiences. Highly recommend this tour with Mr T!

We nearly didn't book a guide for this tour as we were going to do it ourselves but I am so glad we texted Mr Thong. He adjusted the tour to exactly what we asked for and showed us around parts of the loop that we would have completely missed ourselves. My partner had his own bike and I did easy rider which made the whole experience so much more relaxing. Highly recommend Mr Thong - one of the best guides I had in Vietnam.

This was an amazing experience that we thoroughly recommend. We went from HoiAn to Hue via the Hai Van Pass over 2 days. Sleeping in Hue for 1 night. We stopped at 2 different waterfalls, had lunch on the beach in Lang Co and coffee on the Hai Van Pass with spectacular views. The riders and bikes were excellent. Totally loved it.

The one day easy rider motorbike trip from Hoi A was one of the best travel experiences my family and I had in Vietnam. We started the day with a visit to Marble Mountain, where we climbed through caves and pagodas nestled in the rocks. From there, we made our way to the legendary Hai Van Pass riding along the winding mountain road with the sea on one side and tropical jungle on the other. Other stops included lunch at the beautiful Lang Co Bay and the most refreshing dip in a waterfall surrounded by jungle. We also met local farming families and took in the bright green of the picturesque rice paddies. It was a jam packed day and through it all Mr Thong was entertaining, kind, informative and safety conscious. By the end of the day we felt like firm friends. Highly recommended.

Loved our tour with Mr Thong! We were recommended by a family we met earlier in our trip, who were kind enough to let us join their tour. Mr Thong took us to several secluded spots, and guided us along the quieter non-tourist route to give amazing uninterrupted views. The final stretch through Da Nang traffic is not for the faint hearted - but we loved it! Thank you Mr Thong!

This was one of the highlights of the trip so far. Can’t reccomend this enough. Mr Thông was an amazing guide. Kind and friendly and knew all the top spots for photographs, that you otherwise would probably miss. He pre ordered our food for an amazing private beach meal. He also Helped us understand the history of the places we visited. Most of all my girlfriend and I felt very safe on the back of our motorbikes. HIGHLY recommend this

What a great day! Mr Thong had great English and was able to tell us so much about the history and the sites we visited. He also was excellent at making sure everyone was safe. He took us to a quality seafood restaurant on the beach for lunch. Highly recommended this - you get to see so much more riding or being an easy rider. We did one full day - one of us as an easy rider passenger and the other self ride.

An amazing day out. Our guides were fantastic and made us feel completely at ease and completely safe. Took us up the Hai van pass, to a beautiful waterfall for a swim and an amazing lunch stop before taking us back down to Danang to visit the lady Buddha. Would highly recommend this. Our kids (12 and 10) loved every second of it. I must do whilst in Danang.

I had a fantastic day with Mr. Thong. The tour started in Hoi An and took us through the Marble Mountains and the legendary Hai Van Pass – a stunning route with many highlights. Despite the fog and rain in the morning, the ride through the Cloud Pass had its own charm. Every curve was a little adventure, and I had amazing views of the landscape. My driver was super friendly and always drove safely. I felt very comfortable throughout the trip. He knew exactly where to stop to experience the best spots and took great photos of me. Overall, it was a great tour filled with impressions. I had a lot of fun. An absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to experience Vietnam from a different perspective!

Great trip with Mr Thong, Tam and Vu. Lovely genuine people who introduce you to authentic village life and people, spectacular views, amazing lunch by the sea and lots of laughs. We loved our day out, we are a family of 3 with a teenage daughter.

Mister Thongh was a perfect motor-host. One of us on the back en two of us driving a scooter themselves. The view was amazing. We had a lot of stops and Mister T. Took a lot of pictures of us. The dring itself was exciting but doable. Mister T. Guided us through the traffic and police controles smoothly. He is funny and very friendly. Definitely would recommend him!

We had a lovely trip with mister Thong by motorbike from Hoi an to Hue. Mr Thong was a good guide. Hé showed us all the nice spots and extra information. He took the time for taking pictures of us. Made a stop at a local restaurant for typical Vietnamese food… Bikes where also top! We can definately recommend the trip with Mr Thong!

My friend and I had an unforgettable experience traveling from Hoi An to Hue with our Easy Rider guide, Tam. Despite the rain, we absolutely loved our day! Tam was incredibly kind, funny, and knowledgeable, always sharing interesting facts and stories about Vietnam’s history and culture. He made sure we were safe on the road, took great care of us, and showed us the most beautiful countryside landscapes along the way. It was such a unique and special way to explore this part of Vietnam. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting!

Our tour began with Mr Thong meeting us outside our accommodation with the motorbikes. There were six in our party and he had arranged a rider to carry the 10-year-old and my 69-year-old mother. We left Hoi An riding through the city streets however to avoid the busy traffic he chose a country side route taking us through rice fields, small villages and the highlight going over the Hai Van Pass which featured on top gear. A great ride place to take a selfie. We had lunch in a beach side restaurant before being taken to a beautiful waterfall where we all had a swim in Crystal Clear water and saw a monkey. Our route home was through the busy streets of Da Nang which was an adrenaline rush weaving through thousands of other bikes along the city streets. Mr Thong could communicate well, had great knowledge of the local area and was helpful providing water and carrying our extra baggage. This was a great experience for the whole family and excellent value for money.

I started in Huê to Hoi An, the entire trip was AMAZING! I asked to drive a manual bike and a private guide. My fabulous guide, Luc, is just the best. We made loads of stops along the way and I got quite a bit of history about the past and present. Luc, is very knowledgeable and funny. On top of that a fantastic photographer. We stopped at local places, I saw places and sights I would've never otherwise seen. All-in-all, just the best day!

This was an amazing day trip! Mr Thong is so clearly passionate about the landscape and the way of life of the Vietnamese people. He was a friendly and safe driver, always quick to highlight points of interest along the way. Please don't be put off by going in the rainy season - the views are still incredible and it's all the more atmospheric for a bit of mist! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Hoi An and when I return to Vietnam in the future I would love to explore more of the trips that Mr Thong offers.

This was absolutely amazing. The Guides Thong and Lam knew all the secret hotspots, we went through small villages with absolutely no tourists. We ate oysters straight from the see from a little place where they were cleaning them. They were so enthusiastic and full of energie. They were flexibel, we went from Hue to Da Nang. And might do another tour with them from hue to hoi an. Recommend 100%

I asked Mr Thong to take me to An Bang Cemetery, Thanh Toan bridge. He then took me around the countryside, which was so beautiful. I got to see a side to Central Vietnam that you don't get to see. I saw so much, waterfall, Hai Van Pass - absolutely amazing on the motorbike. Marble mountain. It was a jam packed trip. MUST DO, forget the car and get on the bike. Mr Thong was amazing, great service. He arrived early and I was able to pay cash on the day.

We had a great tour with easy rider our guides were fantastic. I am 52 and was a little worried about the motorbike tour but I felt very safe all day. Would thoroughly recommend this tour.

My girlfriends easy driver was great! Lovely guy, spoke great English and was very knowledgable. My driver was lovely too but didn’t speak English. Tour was good too, marble mountain is worth seeing and waterfall was fun. Hai Van pass very pretty too.

I just finished an amazing trip with Trung. He was very kind, helpful and drove safely. He took us to spots with amazing views and a brilliant fresh water waterfall where I had a swim and a beer! Would recommend to anyone wanting to do the Hai Văn Pass, will definitely be using them again in the future!

My incredible guide Huutam stopped many times to point out local life, historical points of interest, and so much more that I never would have noticed had I been on my own. It made the sights so much more impactful. And he went above and beyond, taking me to an extra sight that wasn’t part of the tour at the end of the day. Being on a motorbike is the best way to experience the Pass, and being on the back of one, where you can simply take it all in without worrying about the road, is the best. We had a wonderfull day! Mr. Tong and his friend took us (and our luggage!) from Hoi An to Hue via the beautiful Hai Van pas. Everything went perfect. We stopped at lovely viewpoints, had lunch at the beach, we went swimming in a hidden part of a waterfall (we were alone!) and went further to Hue via beautiful local villages. At the end they took the time to drop our luggage at the station and bring us to the city center so we could have diner before taking the night train.

Mr Thong and the easy rider crew (3, including Mr Luke😁) were great. They made the day an amazing experience The winding roads up (and down) the Hai Van pass, lunch at the beach, swimming at the waterfall..all great fun The riders were super confident and we all felt safe... We had the most wonderful experience riding with Mr Thong and his friend! We were worried about the weather at first but Mr Thong assured us that the rain would stop after the morning and he was right. The drive felt very safe which we appreciated a lot. The only thing is, if you go to the waterfall on the weekend, there might be drunk locals around so make sure you are comfortable with the attention (we weren't as they didn't behave very respectfully) or ask Mr Thong to take you a bit further up where there are not many people around. The views were amazing and we got to take many beautiful pictures!

The fact that it’s open 24 hours is no exaggeration. I reached out at 5:30 AM, and by 6:30, everything was confirmed. Mr. Thong, our guide, was waiting at our hotel for an 8:30 AM start. His humility and passion were evident—he genuinely cares about what he does. Throughout the journey, he entertained us with knowledge, stories, and cultural history at each location. I booked the tour from Hoi An through Hai Van pass and back. My driver was Hữu Tâm. Tâm is a friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable man. He was a great laugh and I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. He stopped at amazing viewing points and offered to take photos for us. Tâm has good English. We drove on Hai Van Pass, visited Marble Mountain and the caves, stoped at great restraunts and cafes along the way, saw beautiful coastline and swam at the waterfall. I enjoyed hearing what Tâm had to say about the culture and history along the way. A reasonable price and I recommend if you love mountains and motorbike rides (however if you’re unsure on motorbike rides he is a very safe and comfortable driver). Loved it, thanks 🤙🤙😄

Had a great tour today with Tâm, very enthusiastic and helpful. We we got to see loads of different attractions on way and back from Hai Van pass.

I booked the loop tour from Hoi An through Hai Van pass and back. My driver was Tam, he was excellent! I went solo and Tam took great care of me. He stopped lots at all the best viewpoints for photos and was very knowledgable, telling me bits of information along the way. His English is very good. I had such a great time, this experience is worth every penny!

We went on the one way tour from Hoi An to Hue. We drove on Hai Van Pass, the roads in the coast, saw the oisterplace, fishing places, a nice waterfall and several other things. Tam was great in telling stories about the different places and Vietnamese culture. We drove through nice rice fields and mostly avoided the bigger and busy roads. Unfortunately the weather was cloudy and rainy. That made the trip s little but less beautiful. I really would like to recommend Tam as driver. He took good care about my girlfriend and was a great help for making new plans.

My wife and I had a great day doing the loop from Hoi An. Mr Thong was really friendly and knowledgeable. The bike was comfortable and the riding felt safe. Would highly recommend.

Mr. Tâm is the best! So kind and professional. I was a little anxious to do a motorbike tour, but Mr. Tâm is an excellent driver and made me feel safe the entire tour. He is also a good photographer which was very much appreciated since I was traveling alone. I enjoyed learning more about Vietnam’s history and culture during each of the stops along the route to Hue. This tour is a great way to get around as opposed to taking a regular car transfer or train. I highly recommend Mr. Tâm as a driver and guide! Such a cool experience, thank you!
