A fun day discovering the farm life of Vietnam. Riding through the back streets of the Village gave an insight to how the locals live and work. We even got to be fishers! Our guide was informative, kind and extremely knowledgeable
Great tour around the outskirts of Hoi An - away from the main tourist areas. Our guide Duc was friendly, informative and very knowledgeable about the area. The couple who manage the water buffalo were gorgeous, so happy. The boat rode was very peaceful and the lunch was delicious. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hoi An and wanting to explore the cultural background of the region.
We just did the basket boat was enjoyable, pleasant staff. Entertaining, an experience to be had. We recommend to all who visit Hoi An to experience
This tour was brilliant. We did the basket boat tour and the locals were so lovely and thoughtful. Would 100% recommend.
Did the bike tour with Anna, it was brilliant. Easy cycling (even for someone who's not been on a bike for years!) Anna gave us knowledge about the local farming, the markets and the water buffalo, which you get to ride if you wish. The coconut boats are fun and peaceful. Finished with lunch or dinner at the cooking school. A really lovely way to see and learn about the local area with someone who wants to show you the area.
Anna was a very knowledgeable tour guide. We had a nice bike ride, not too difficult. The bamboo boat was fun. The food was delicious. Great value
Awesome beautiful country ride beautiful scenery great hosts ride the buffalo kids loved the bicycle tour and then to top it off had a 5 course meal that was delicious thankyou
It was very peaceful and fun! Our boat lady was super sweet and nice. It was easy to book and the pick up was easy! From beginning to end very easy!
Amazing service from start to finish. Our captain was just the sweetest and most genuine person. A true testament to the fact that language barriers are imaginary!
This was the best tour we did in Vietnam. The guide was amazing: knowledgeable, funny and accommodating. And the experiences were just fabulous. Great food too.
Had an amazing experience a must do, they don’t speak much English but the WhatsApp person can answer all your needs. Hope you love Vietnam as much as we did :)
We booked this tour last minute as we wanted to explore country side. Our guide was on time. We were taken to the starting point to pick up the bikes, upon picking up the bikes we realised how rusted the bikes were and my husbands bike chain kept slipping we didn’t mention as didn’t want to slow down the group. Our guide asked us to make him stop if we need to but he kept riding in front no way there was way to signal him to stop. Buffalo looked happy and relaxed but we didn’t ride due to personal reasons however we did get to feed the buffalo. We then went for a boat ride, it was fun but the water was disgusting and smelly. The guide separated me and my husband and made us seat on a different boat (had no idea why he did that as I didn’t even mention anything about being dizzy) he then said don’t worry you will be switched back but the boat driver continued until I had to raise my voice and said I want to seat with my husband STOP THE BOAT. We were then taken to very basic cooking class, and rice milk making. Was very quick demonstration following cooking with another lady chef. Our lunch was prepared and we set to have our lunch. The food was SO OILY!! Literally dripping in butter/oil. The salad was nice. But rice cake and spring rolls were swimming in oil. We were surprised that the tour guid was also eating from our lunch that we paid for, all of us was very shocked as I have never seen this happen in any other tours I have done previously. Apparently he was very hungry as he didn’t have lunch! (Common! Are you serious!) he just didn’t care, kept going for the food, felt sorry for the other group as it was their dish he was being very inconsiderate. We rode the bike back to the hotel in the dark with mosquitos flying in our eyes and mouth (yak) even though we were offered taxi fare back but what’s point in catching taxi when we paid for cycling experience. Very poor customer experience and will not be recommending. Such a disappointment.
This was my favourite thing I did in Vietnam, even in the rain. Such a lovely family/locals ran tour where you really get to feel for the culture of Vietnam. Our guide was so warm and enthusiastic, the water buffalo was beautiful and seemed happy and well cared for, and the cooking class was really fun with yummy food for lunch. Would highly recommend!
We had a great time!! The tour operator was ver accommodating getting us private transport from our hotel in Da Nang to meet with our guide, Hoang. Hoang showed us many types of local plants and herbs, guided us on bike to meet a cute black “tiger”. We learned how to farm rice. The bamboo boats was next. Catching crabs is really fun!! Then we got to cook and have a beautifully prepared meal. We biked back to old town hoi an. It was already dark, so I would not suggest that with younger children. Book the morning tour. Great experience!!
We enjoyed our time with Mr Cu, his family and the other guests. It was a delightful experience with a humorous and kind host. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful ride today with Koo. He was so knowledgeable and fun. We rode a buffalo, ploughed a paddy field, went in the round boats and caught crabs and had a great lunch at his house. Thanks so much. Thoroughly recommend it.
It was a very fun tour! We ride bycicles, water caw, basket boat. Good experience! Lunch was also good. Ivan eat Vietnam traditional food. Guid were very kind. Bi and Thuy, thank you so much:)
Coconut country Tour was amazing ! The guide Haru-chan, vegetable field, buffalo ride, boat ride and even lunch were more than expected !! This tour was the best part in our Viet Nam travel!
This was my second time doing a tour with Hoian eco coconut tours. My husband and son were also booked and paid for on the tour but the morning of the tour our little man was ill and they couldnt come. Ba kindly refunded our money which we were truly appreciative of. Our tour guide Milk was brilliant, he had great english and his knowledge of the vietnamese culture was extensive. The cooking class was so hands on, I learnt so many new flavour combinations and techniques and I cant believe how full I was after all the dishes we cooked. Thanks again for a truly amazing day out.
It was very good. You can easily make reservations by contacting us via LINE from Japan. I have an elementary school child and the tour is very interesting and I never get bored. Even if you don't speak English, the staff will do their best to explain. You can have a satisfying experience with a moderate distance. The child said the buffalo's gentle face was too cute. Thank you very much.
Traveling alone with my daughter. Day 3 of my stay in Hoi An. I had just started to get tired of walking around town, so lol, the day before I joined, I found this tour, which I could check in Japanese via LINE exchanges, and applied. LINE res is fast and secure, and I also found it reliable to hear from you that your pickup time will be delayed on the day. I didn't have any US dollars on me, so I consulted with him and he was OK to pay in Japanese yen. Activities are: The bicycle travels a considerable distance! My daughter, a 122 cm novice cyclist, has been provided with children's equipment. I was anxious about riding a bike I wasn't used to riding, but he really enjoyed it. Surrounded by rice paddies, the thrilling experience of being given a ride in the buffalo seemed to be etched in my heart. On the Bamboo Boat, we cruised to a restaurant with a tropical mood. On the way, we have crab fishing, but we can't catch it...I don't think we have to.... Oh, but boys might be happy! Anne, our guide, took a lot of wonderful photos and it became a good memory for us both! I'm glad I took part in it!
Fun experience Thank you very much (the guide lady is Anne). Cycling was good, with fields, pathways, streets weaving people and motorbikes, rice fields ... and good commentary here and there. The direct buffalo ride was a test of balance lol. I was surprised by the unexpected long trip of the bamboo boat. I'm impressed with the old boatman's brilliant rod-striking! Even a small stream crab fishing momentarily becomes a childish and engrossed. We enjoyed Vietnamese vegetables & fish with cooking class. It was a satisfying experience, blessed with good weather & season. Thank you. Senior couple From Japan
My family of three joined us in October. I had a child who had just turned 5 years old, so I thought I didn't need cooking, so I joined a half day course of cycling & buffalo & basket boat & lunch. The reservation came up so quickly that I asked the hotel concierge the day before the day of the event. We had them picked up at 7:40 at a resort hotel in Da Nang city. Cycling put the kids on the back seat and there was a helmet for the kids. The buffalo ride had some work to do in the rice fields. The mud washes away cleanly. On the basket boat, we experienced crab fishing and netting. We were a little worried because we saw a website that said no Japanese, but our guide Anh was OK in Japanese and took a lot of photos, so it was a very safe and enjoyable tour. After lunch, we paid for drinks and other items. Local payment was cash only, credit cards were not accepted. Including drinks that the three of us are eating, it is about VND 2.05 million. Finally, you will be picked up and dropped off at your hotel in a wagon and the tour will be over. It was also good to be back at the hotel after 13:00 and to use the day effectively. It was a very memorable and fun tour.
Hoi An is the old town or Lantern, but this one is quite the opposite (?) Tours of You can experience old Vietnam in a good way, such as cycling around, planting rice, riding a buffalo or a boat. The guide's English was also easy to hear and I enjoyed it smoothly. There is also a transfer from Da Nang, it is recommended~
I went with my mother and the tour guide (Haru-san 😄) was very friendly and helpful! I was able to meet local people and met many good things about Vietnam! It was fun ~! If you are wondering what to do with the tour, you can definitely book it anyway♡😊
