Countryside Adventure Private Tour By Electric Car

Hoi A came to life through our amazing guide Liem who shared the history of the town and its culture with us. We were so lucky to have met Liem on our first day in Hoi An as we were there for 7 days and were fortunate to do different tours with him. It rained for 6 out of the 7 days but that did not stop us from seeing as much as we could. The ride was on an electric car that had drop down blinds for protection from the rain (and sun). The drive was safe and smooth with no issues whatsoever. We would highly recommend you use this operator and if you are fortunate to have Liem as your driver and guide, send our regards. He shared the kindness of the Hoi An locals and welcome spirit to us as tourists. He has loads of recommendations for food, tailors, lantern vendors, leather goods and does not force any sales at any of the locations which we appreciated. He was genuinely interested in making sure we saw his town through his eyes. We would give Liem a 10/10 as employee of the year for making a difference to our experience.

It was truly a perfect experience in Hoi An. I joined the Countryside + Heritage 120-minute tour with my parents, and our driver took such beautiful photos with so much care and warmth. We just had the most wonderful experience with our guide IE VIN RIN. He explained so much about the rice fields, the water buffalo, the shrimp farming, and other types of farming. He explained the culture and economy to us. I really appreciated all of the information. We learned so much from him. He was such a lovely person. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

We had a private tour with Nguyen Duc Trung. He collected us from the hotel and took us on a tour around country side to see local veggie growers and rice fields. We went to local driftwood and pottery workshops also. He was very informative and spoke very good English. Such a lovely kind man and a wonderful experience to remember forever.

My family was guided by Mr Rin on a buggy car, he was very kind and showed around the area with full of explanation. I can say the amount is well spent with 60 minutes of satisfactory ride.

This guide guy Dang Van Duoc did an excellent job on translation and taking photos of us. He even bought us water for free and put some famous Vietnamese music while sight seeing. About the translation, he has a bluetooth speaker paired with his phone so it would translate his words to my language and speak through the speaker. And he is an excellent photographer so you will not be disappointed with the result. Thank you for giving us an excellent memory in Hoian!

The tour was ok - mildly interesting but doesn’t go far enough out of the town to feel like you are in the countryside. Be careful of the stops. The first stop we made was to have a picture with a farmer and his water buffalo. After taking the photo he demanded a 500k VND tip. I was really annoyed at this as we paid 750k VND total for the tour. I refused to pay this tip and he then asked for 200k, which I also refused. I asked the guide what I should pay and he said whatever I think. I offered 50k, which the guide said was normal but the farmer was quite angry and aggressive. The whole experience was quite uncomfortable, and what was a fun event taking pictures quickly became a bit of a sore point.

Thanks to the lovely and impressive driver, I enjoyed exploring Hoi An. It was so hot that I thought I was going to die, but thank you for giving me a very healing tour. I'll ride it again next time, driver, fighting~

We had a terrific morning of sightseeing with our two toddler children. Our guide Liem was fantastic!! Very friendly, knowledgeable and ensured we were able to capture some amazing memories. We did the 90-minute tour and that felt like the right amount of time as it went so quickly. Would highly recommend to any young family wanting to experience a taste of the Vietnam countryside.
