Had a wonderful morning learning how to cook 4 Vietnamese dishes with Quan. We learned so much and then had an amazing lunch. Quan spoke good English and explained the methods very well. This was a great experience. I was worried I wouldn’t remember how to cook any of it and then right at the end the guide shared with me the recipe and method for all the meals. Really appreciate his enthusiasm and great attitude towards us and the food. Thanks again, would definitely recommend

Cute authentic location in Hoi An fringes, good chef very entertaining and interactive, food was fun to make and delicious to eat. Pick up from centre Hoi A went well, all well organised. My only complaint, is that the Viator website said 4:30 pick up in most places, the small print mentioned 4:15 pick up, and the lady that got in touch to arrange details with us tried to make us accept a pick up at 4:10. Given we had plans before to fit in, this cause quite some stress. Please line up your timings Viator!!

We had a great time as a family at this cooking activity. The food was yummy, our host was great and had excellent help and advice and the setting was beautiful. Would definitely recommend if you want to try your hand at cooking some homemade vietnamese specialties!

The chef was really really good at adjusting to both kids and adults, experinced and in experienced. Really attentive and on top of the game. He prepped 4 different traditional vietnamese meals that were good to learn and then we finished up eating.

We have taken cooking-classes all over the world and this one is the best we ever did. Super nice surroundings, skilled and very friendly chef and delicious courses. We highly recommend this to anyone who wants a great experience.

The food that we cooked was delicious. Easy recipes that we can cook at home. A small class of 12 . Was very hot but plenty of water supplied & fans.

I definitely recommend Lily's cooking class!! This was truly one of the best meals I've had my whole trip, it was so fresh and amazing. Lily picks up the fresh ingredients every morning before the class. Lily is really nice, funny, warm, and speaks perfect english so I really feel I understood the point of everything we were doing. You get a van that picks you up and drops you back off so no worries about getting there, and she sends you a self-made cookbook after with all the recipes! You try spring rolls, banh xeo (in fresh rolls), pho, papaya salad, and your own dipping sauce. Book directly with her if you can, and definitely do this tour!

This was an excellent experience that I highly recommend. First, booking was very simple and the hostess reached out to me very shortly afterwards. Secondly, once I informed her of my food allergies she went into overdrive to ensure that my food requirements were satisfied. On the morning of the class she ensured that my private transportation was arranged for us to arrive at her front door. The setup was very clean and professional. She introduced herself to us and provided us with very simple instructions as well as demonstrating techniques that allowed us to see what we were supposed to do. Although my tomato flower didn’t quite come out as planned she still encouraged me to proceed with the process. The ingredients were very fresh and the history of the dishes we prepared were very enlightening. The final test was eating the food e prepared. Absolutely amazing. If you want a great Vietnamese food cooking class I strongly recommend this class. Jane Nguyen, thank you for an awesome experience.

Lily was so friendly. We enjoyed our afternoon learning how to cook delicious vietnamese food. It was fun.

The cooking class is at Lily's local restaurant and house, offering a very chill countryside experience and a chance to learn how to make popular Vietnamese dishes. We made papaya salad, Vietnamese pancakes, pho and fried spring rolls. We took part in making most of it other than the pho broth which takes some time. The food turned out great and we had a good time chatting about how life is here. Definitely give this course a try while you are here!

Lovely cooking class in a family environment, recipes are easy and so very tasty. Our chef Quan was fantastic, patient, helpful and full of life. Our group loved the experience and eating what we cooked afterwards was wonderful. Thank you to Quan and his family for opening their home, welcoming us and sharing his knowledge. Would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in a couple of hours learning to cook the delicious meals we had. They also picked us up and dropped us off to our hotel after we were finished. What a great way to learn some Vietnamese dishes and culture. The dishes included some basic flavour combos that were used across different dishes. The timing was perfect to keep our 8 year old interested and he was included in a very considerate way. Definitely recommend!

We had a nice experience in this cooking class. The class was well organized and enjoyable. The chef, Quong, was very kind, friendly, and attentive, always willing to help and explain everything clearly. The dishes we cooked were absolutely delicious, and we really enjoyed tasting everything at the end. It was a pleasant and fun experience, and we would recommend it to others.

The food was really nice and our cooking instructor was funny and good at explaining/helping. Definitely worth a visit. You get picked up and dropped off, and it seems like the class is never no more than 6-8 people.

Always wanted to do this and it didn’t disappoint. We had 4 local dishes to make and enjoy. It was fun learning and we will enjoy making them at home too. Eating our feast was the best part.

My husband and I can already cook, and it was so hot when we were in Hoi An. We wanted a no fuss class with recipes to recreate the wonderful food we had been eating, at home. That’s exactly what we got, and we ate the food, kept the leftovers, and was picked up and dropped off at our hotel. You can’t go wrong, and at a great price too.

Great cooking class with Lily. The food was very easy to prepare and it's genuinely something you can make at home. Great value too, and you get a substantial meal at the end, which is an added bonus. I recommend the 4:30pm class so you can have dinner straight after!

We booked the class at 10am in the morning and got confirmation that the pick up would be at 4:15. We came down and waited by the street in the rain for 20 mins. I then went back to reception to call the operator to be told they will call back. I then got a message to say that the tour is canceled this was now 30 mins after the start time and unacceptable. She was apologetic, but if the tour was canceled we should have been informed earlier

This was a great experience…we were taught really easy steps and made a delicious lunch at the end. Lily our teacher was great, very patient and explained everything really well. I’m so glad I learned all the wee tips and tricks to cooking these dishes. We also got the recipes for all dishes we made. I can’t wait to try these at home. Would definitely recommend this class

We were picked up at our hotel and driven the 10 minutes into Hoi An. We were met by Lily who we spent c. 3 hours making a 4 course meal which was fantastic. We would recommend this to anyone. The instructions are clear, Lily makes it fun whilst being informative, and the food was excellent. At the end, Lily provides everyone with a pdf of the recipes so you can try them out again when you get home…all in all, well organised and a great morning.

The preparation was excellent on behalf of the Chef/owner. The lesson flowed with ease allowing us to enjoy the making of pancakes and the correct method of rolling the spring rolls. The end product was excellent. Lovely family business, would recommend people to give it a go.

This cooking class was awesome! We made 4 different dishes which were all delicious- even yummier than a majority of restaurant meals we have gotten in Vietnam so far. Great value for money, you get free water and a dessert in addition to what you cook. The class had a relaxed feel and was informative and fun! Super easy as they pick you up from your accommodation. Would highly recommend!
