The boat trip and our experience on the island was generally great. Corals, fish and starfish were good. The trip to get to the boat was strange. As the driver didn't speak English nor used app to translate for us, we had no idea where we stopped, when somehow we stopped at a jem and sculpture shop, which was not in the planned schedule.

Boat was indeed fast. Tour guide was pleasant and helpful but did not provide much information about what we were seeing. He spent most of his time counting heads (not a bad thing!). What they don’t tell not tell you is the snorkelling is from the boat not the beach. There are only small ladders to climb up on the back, which I found difficult to do (the younger ones had less difficulty). Visibility was not good. Lunch was pretty good for a remote island. In my view, best thing was time at the beautiful beach at the end of the tour!
The boat trip and lunch were really good. Unfortunately we were not aware that they didn’t not have snorkel equipment for our child so she couldn’t do that part which was really disappointing. This needs to be advertised or advised when booking for children. Then the tour guide tried giving our group of 30 a choice between longer swimming at the beach and visiting a temple- and asked us to make a decision as a group. Which was never going to please everyone. Perhaps next time the guide could make the decision for the group.
The boat ride was fun and spending time on the lovely beach after lunch was nice. Snorkeling was very disappointing , not much to see and there were stingers in the water. Marine museum was also ordinary. Old well was nice to cool down at. Very busy. Lunch was ok, but nothing special. We didn’t receive water as stated in itenary.
The trip was excellent. From the minivan driver to the boat captain to the tour guide! Great experience! The lunch was also wonderful, huge and diverse. I would recommend this trip, and booking company, highly!!!
We really enjoyed our snorkeling trip. It was well organized and our guide was great. The lunch was delicious and the island was beautiful. Highly recommended!
What a great day!! Snorkelling was fun, I had my waterproof action camera and got super clear images of the colourful coral. (It wasn't quite as clear for me as I couldn't wear my glasses with the snorkelling goggles) so when I was able to replay the footage from the camera I was over the moon!! The lunch was delicious and then we saw the cutest group of little monkeys come out to play. Our guide "Miss Banana" was very funny and had us laughing all day but also taught us about the local conservation efforts on Cham Islands.
Cham Island is beautiful and retains its wild features. we went sightseeing around the village, then go snorkeling. The coral here is really beautiful. a nice trip with a lovely guide.
We experienced the tour Cham Island and we enjoyed so much the tour. Cham island so beautiful with corals , and clean. Tour has good food, friendly tour guide and amazing speed boat. Thank you. We highly recommend the tour
Ordinary day today spent 8 hrs away for 30 minutes of mediocre snorkelling. Boat was jam packed with 20+ people (there were people standing the walkway) Our guide spoke minimal to no English and left the group whilst we were snorkeling, lunch was ordinary and the bus driver was incredibly rude towards “westerners” and unorganised.. Would not recommend to anyone..
Everything went well. Services and communication were perfect. We enjoyed the whole trip on Cham Island including scuba diving and snorkeling
A wonderful day of snorkelling and touring. Great lunch and relaxing on the beach. Would do it again in a heart beat. All our family loved it.
Boat trip over and back is very efficient. But as soon as you get there , you are dropped at a boring village for 1 hour which turned into an hour and fifteen. We turned right at the dock and followed this road through the village and up a huge hill. This gave a spectacular view over the islands. We then walked about 200m down the slope and found a signed beach with not a soul on it. We had a fantastic time there for about 40 mins. If we had of stayed at the village with everyone else we’d have been very bored. Then a twenty minute stop at a beach to allow people to change into togs. Again we took advantage of the location and had a swim or it would have been more waiting around. Then to our snorkelling spot. Snorkels are not sanitised. The masks were not good quality. The lens fell out of the first one I was given. I did not see a head count being done. Coral was pretty. We saw some clownfish, parrotfish, angel fish etc. Snorkelling was about 45 mins. Then back to same beach for another 20-30 mins for people to be get changed. Then onto lunch. The boat left two passengers accidentally behind here and didn’t realise til half way through lunch!!! No head counts. Heaps of food but way too long sitting on this island - we were there for almost 2 hours for no apparent reason. 45 mins would have been long enough for lunch and get us back to explore Hoi An with more time. Guide had limited English
Great speed boat ride to and from Cham Island. However, care should be taken when snorkelling due to boats manoeuvring without much care for those in the water. An accident waiting to happen. It looks the reef is being damaged, and there are signs of bleaching, and not a lot of sea life around. The beach and the lunch were a great way to complete the day's activities, before the ip back to the island.
We chose the formula snorkeling and meal. Departing from Hoi An there were a multitude of boats. Welcoming was not really great! You feel like cattle. The crossing takes about 35 min at high speed. We disembark in port for 45 min to do nothing except attend the ballet of the boats arriving and departing. Finally we take the boat back to admire the fish. On site there are already some boats and many people with vests floating. From the boat you can't see the bottom! The launch is not easy and we have no help. Once you're in very cloudy water, you can't see anything! You have to go to the coast to hope to see a fish. What a disappointment! After 45 min we left for lunch. The worst meal of my vacation. We're really mistaken for pigeons. Rest on the beach on dubious deckchairs and return. WOW!
What should have been a fun outing, it was actually disappointing. The boat we were going on was dirty. The staff were unkind. Something we have not experienced before in Vietnam. The staff smoked on board at the stops they lay on the benches and hated it if you wanted to pass. That was pretty annoying. The snorkeling was good, good materials were available. However, the stairs of the boat we had were very small. Several people opened themselves to sharp parts of the stairs. Was a shame.
