We had a great trip with Sherlock! We learned so much and Sherlock was very funny so we laughed a lot along the way. Such a great experience! 10/10, would definitely recommend! 😊

The tour guide was exceptional. Michael was informative, funny, respectful and well rounded. He did not avoid difficult topics like the Vietnam war, but greeted them with grace, respect and content. He was very enthusiastic and allowed us to engage, balancing the history with self exploration. I travelled around the world and Michael is one of the best guides I have ever had.
micheal was an awesome our guide he was so knowledgeable and helped us plan over excursions on our trip. we had so much fun and learned so much
Tour Michael is very friendly and funnu informative, very patient and respectful , organised very well advanced information in WhatsApp is added advantage. Overall value for money. He treat like family.
It was an awesome experience. I would thoroughly recommend it to others. The driver great and Michael the guide was exceptional.
The tour today in Myson is with Owen
I loved the tour and Sherlock made it! As a tour guide his knowledge was great and his deliver was even better! He has a great personality and sense of humour, and this was a theme throughout the tour. I genuinely can’t recommend a tour with him enough.
Great activity especially if you like history and are looking for an afternoon peaceful break from busy Hoi An. My hotel booked this for me and so the bahn mi and boat trip at the end were a surprise and fun conclusion to the tour. I really enjoyed our Tour Guide, Owen, who had a lot of interesting information and was helpful and funny! I would want to book another tour with Owen!
Good,a little bit short of the visit Owen
Sherlock was a lovely guide! Good way to see My Son and close to Hoi An
A lovely way to spend an afternoon, complete with good information about the My Son temple and a lovely Cham music and dance performance. Yummy Banh Mi on the joyride back to town. Good communication about pick up time and place .
Very cool tour, excellent tour guide with good english and a lot of humour and passion. The tour is not only the temples but also shows, boat, bicycles and is very fun.
pick me up from where i stay is really good and the driver is exactly on time. The traveller bus id new and clean. The tour guide is professional.nice trip👍
Great historic site. Great performing.
I'm so glad I booked this excursion and I highly recommend! Our group was the perfect size, just 10 people, and we were all promptly picked up from our accommodation. We were provided with lots of free water. Our tour guide, Owen, was an absolute superstar. He was so knowledgeable about everything he showed us in My Son and was super helpful when answering everyone's questions. He genuinely cared about our experience on the trip and was so kind to everyone. He took the time to give us general info about Hoi An and even taught us some Vietnamese! Owen was a stellar tour guide and he made the experience as fantastic as it was. Thank you, Owen!
The tour is a really interesting activity to see the Pagoda and for a quick visit to the caves in the Marble Mountain, if you don’t have much time in Da Nang. Owen, sour guide, really was one of the highlights, he is such a showman that knows how to amuse the group and level up the tour. He has great sense of humour and explains things with a fantastic domain of the narrative. Great tour if you wanna have a cultural but as well a very funny experience!
We group of 15 pax visited Phu quoc island where we used venus travels for all travel , ticketing and guide arrangement. It was very comfortable and flexible , supporting co- operation experienced from Venus travels, specially Tina was very prompt and assistive in all responses. Thank you for making out trip memorable.
Had a great day out. Dung was a wonderful guide.
Tony was a fabulous guide. Very informative and friendly. Recommend you go too.
We are glad we did this tour. Very nice trip into the surrounding nature of Hoi An. My Son has a lot of cultural history which our tour guide, Michael, did a great explanation about. He was a very enthusiastic guide and knows a lot. This made our day very enjoyable.
Great tour with a good group of people and a vey energetic and funny guide - ‘Luan - the handsome Lung’
The trip was full of information the guide name is Sherlock was so friendly so helpful on taking for me good photos since im solo traveling plus he’s so funny and making alot of jokes all the way through
Overall, it was a great experience. Our tour guide Anna, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the UNESCO heritage. It was very organized and although it was a private trip, we had so much fun exploring the place. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience. ^^
I took the My Son sanctuary tour with Venus, and it was a flawless experience from start to finish. The absolute highlight of the trip was our guide, **"Luan the handsome Lung"**—he was simply fantastic! Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the site, but he is also hilarious, attentive to everyone, and deeply passionate about what he does. He managed to share the history of the place in a way that was engaging, fun, and never boring. The itinerary for the day was perfectly organized: * **The My Son tour:** Top-notch, highly evocative, and smoothly run. * **The rice paper making:** Learning how to make traditional rice paper was a super fun and interesting hands-on experience. * **The lunch:** A truly amazing local lunch, authentic and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to visit My Son. If you can, ask for Luan—you won't regret it!
Sherlock was a great and informative guide, he knew when to provide some context for the temples but also when to let us see the rest for ourselves.
Sherlock was very personable and full of wisdom, made the experience very fun despite the scorching sun. His passion was contagious and I learnt a lot about things I’d never heard about
Sherlock and Handsome Luan were excellent guides. Providing a lot of insight to Vietnamese history and culture. The driver was also very handsome!
Loved the tour with a very nice guide, sherlock!
Well to start, our guide Uyen, was fantastic. Very friendly, fun and informative throughout the day. My Son is a very interesting place to visit and I’m sure everyone in our group agrees. My wife and I highly recommend this tour and if given the choice, request Uyen as your guide.
Talkative tour guide and fruitful trip
We had an amazing time visiting My Son Sanctuary. The afternoon tour was quiet so we had plenty of time to soak in the atmosphere and take pictures! Our guide Sherlock was also amazing, very knowledgable and kept us entertained!
Very nice experience visiting Hoa an.The Guide Anna was very bubbly and explained everything in detail.Sure we recommend her for being a good guide
Sherlock was a great tour guide! He was kind, helpful, and informative. We felt taken care of during our trip and really enjoyed the tour despite the weather!
Sherlock was our tour guide . Great personality, great knowledge . Perfect English. Small tour of 7 of us instead of fill bus 14 . We got rained on once at the temples but the tour didn’t stop and we took refuge in a 12tj century temple for 30mn. Memorable and great experience . Highly recommend the experience, in June the season is quiet but hot however the rain gave us a breather
This was a well organised tour with a really good guide Sherlock. He looked after us very well and gave us a lot of interesting information as well as a language lesson and some great jokes!
Everything was perfect—from the rice paper making to the ruins, and that home-cooked meal was absolutely delicious! 🍛 Our guide Chau Chau & Venus Travel was super professional and so enthusiastic, we learned a lot. Also, because the group wasn't too big, the whole trip felt really chilled, comfortable, and easygoing. Plus, the other travelers were lovely, so the vibe was great the whole day. Thanks again for such a memorable trip! Will definitely recommend you guys to my friends. Super stars! ⭐⭐⭐
If you love history and like to know about the temples this is a great trip.
This was a wonderful tour and exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Tony had a great personality and was able to tell us the background and history of the Champa people as we walked through the My Son site. The dance performance was fabulous and added another element to the tour. The sunset river trip together with the tasty banh mi gave an authentic end to the tour.
We had Luan the handsome lung! What an amazing and handsome man. He felt like family to us! We loved him loved his passion and knowledge. Keep him for all your guides!!amazing
We had a great experience visiting My Son Sanctuary. A fascinating and historical UBESCO heritage site. Our guide Michael was informative, passionate and enthusiastic , despite the intense heat of the afternoon today. If is always refreshing when a guide goes beyond and above ensure the group are informed and happy. My only negative comment , which is out of Michael’s control is that 15 people is it in my opinion a small group. We were the last of the group to be collected and I could not even sit with my husband despite a solo traveller taking two seats who could have sat either others . However a fabulous day and thank you Michael fir all your knowledge, enthusiasm and assistance today
the tour to My Son is with Owen 5555
Excellent tour. Pick up spot on time. Approx 60 mins to the My Song. Buggy transfer up the valley to the sanctuary site. Very informative and amusing guide Sherlock. Then back for a short river cruise in a traditional boat. All very good.
Tony was a great guide, lots of information. Beautifully presented monuments and grounds, it will be interesting to come back once more excavation has been done
A special thanks to Michael our guide. He's amazing. We made 2 excursions with him and each time he explained the history, the pronounciation in vietnamese and have a sens of humour. We really appreciate our day and the excursions thanks to Michael. available,
Marble Mountain was such a beautiful experience — the caves, temples, and views were absolutely stunning. There was such a peaceful energy there, mixed with so much history and culture. A special thank you to Michael, who was such a great guide and made the whole experience even more enjoyable with his knowledge and friendly nature. Definitely one of the highlights of the trip and somewhere I’d highly recommend visiting if you’re in Vietnam.
Anna was a wonderful guide for our tour in My Son and boat tour through Hoi An. She explained a lot about the history and shared many interesting insights along the way. We really enjoyed the tour and appreciated her friendly attitude. Highly recommended!
Great trip to MySon temples. Luan (the handsome Lung) our tour guide was so bubbly and informative. The lunch was also super nice, and not a buffet, rather family style dining, different from most lunches served on tours. The tour was short and sweet, had just enough of everything and was back at the hotel by lunch. The boat trip at the end was a realky nice was to finish. Admission fee was covered, didnt need to pay for anything. We were provided with a bottle of water as well at the entrance to the site. Pick up was early, 7.30am, but i was at the hotel by 1.30pm.
What an amazing place and a great tour. Picked up from our hotel and a nice scenic drive to My Son. Our guide gave presented a comprehensive background of the site’s history on the way. The site itself ancient with plenty of restored temple complexes to explore. The sunset cruise started in the outskirts of Hoi An with plenty of time to enjoy the included Banh mi. There was a heatwave when we visited and I would recommend grabbing an umbrella for shade from your hotel.
It’s hot Bring water Nice show there is a movie with subtitles before the show . Be prepared for a lot of walking
We enjoyed this trip with our entertaining tour guide ‘Sherlock’. We were picked up in an air-conditioned minibus and learned about the Vietnamese language, motorcycle beeping etiquette and how to successfully cross a road in Vietnam (cross slowly front of the oncoming motorbikes and they’ll drive around you) as we travelled away from Hoi An towards the mountains. The site was in an absolutely stunning location and the partially restored temples were impressive to see, but the formal part of the tour only took in a small part of the site and then we were left to wander around. We found out later when reading the guidebook that we’d missed key aspects such as bomb craters left as a reminder of the American/Vietnam war. There was a lengthy and difficult to follow introduction to the site on arrival that might have worked better in the minibus - afterwards we felt we would have preferred to have been taken around the whole site but with shorter information stops. One of the highlights was a local cultural performance at the end of the visit. On the way back to the final portion of the tour - a river boat trip into Hoi A at sunset- Sherlock called ahead to Hong Giang Bakery to order Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwiches) and even asked for an option that wasn’t on the original menu - tofu - for the vegans in our group, which was much appreciated. The sandwiches were delicious and enjoyed on the boat. We felt very safe with our driver - always an important factor for me on excursions - and had the option to stay on in Hoi An or be taken back to the hotel at the end of the tour.
