My family and I did the bike tour with Sunrise Tour last weekend and had a wonderful time. Our guide and all the riders were so friendly and helpful throughout. What stayed with me was seeing how local businesses support each other. We learned how farms supply nearby restaurants and hotels, so you can see what farm-to-table looks like in practice. In the pottery village, artisans run their own businesses but work together to make pottery. I hadn’t realised how much cooperation goes into keeping income and livelihoods within the community, and it was fascinating to see it firsthand. My favourite moment was feeding the ducks at the farm. I didn’t expect that to be a highlight of our trip, but it was! I’d happily recommend this tour to anyone curious about how people live and work in Hoi An. An easy five stars from me!

A really fun family experience. Very safe riding with the crew, and included farm stops, An Bang beach, a cafe stop, pottery making and touring the countryside. Mr Quy is a great host and made sure we were all happy. Thanks Sunset Tours!
My family and I recently did the Sunrise Motorbike Tour and absolutely loved it! Easily one of the best tours we’ve done in Vietnam! Mr Quy is lovely, speaks excellent English, was very easy to deal with and did everything to make sure our whole family was having fun throughout the whole tour. He and his team of riders were very safe and took us to a number of interesting and interactive places including - a beautiful beach, riding a buffalo, a local herb farm, woodwork and pottery villages to learn about traditional ways. Even stopped at a cafe for a delicious coconut coffee and juices for the kids. Cruising on the back of a motorbike was such a beautiful way to experience the countryside. Can’t recommend this tour highly enough! Thank you Mr Quy!
Awesome day out with Quy and his team travelling through the country side and surrounds on the back of the scooters. Would recommended this tour to anyone visiting Hoi An
Was a fantastic experience, slow safe bike riders , informative in English , lots of stops and interaction with the farmer , highly recommend 👌👌
What a great experience for our family. Riding bikes (safely) was a great way to see the city. Good amount of food stops. Hosts were incredible!! Highly reccomend.
We had a great tour with Quy riding around the villages on the motorbikes. At every stop he explained to us with good English about the area. I highly recommend this experience you get out of the city for a few hours and see how the people live.
Booked last minute and was lucky to get Mr Quy, was the only one on this tour so was good that we could do at our own pace. This is a great way to see the locals and the land. Had a great coffee stop. Definitely a way to go on the back of a bike 🏍
Exceeded my expectations. Quy was very informative & his team professional safe riders. This tour is a memory I will have for a lifetime. You won’t regret doing this tour. Ty Quy
Loved the tour with Quy. He showed us how the locals live. Rice farmers, fish farmers, vegetable farmers and more. He was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed very much!
Very knowledgeable loved learning and seeing so much about HoiAn. Highly recommend.

Had an excellent scooter trip with Mr Quy and his team. A varied and informative programme was arranged the highlight for us being the vegetable garden and meeting and interacting with the local farmer.
Great experience, safe and professional ride - this tour was amazing! Within 3 short hours we could experience the essence of Hoi An ! Highly recommended!
My partner and I did the tour in the afternoon which was amazing to see the countryside of vietnam as the sun was going down. It was amazing to see the local life and Mr Quy told us so many interesting facts! A fantastic experience’
Mr. Quy’s tour of Hoi An was incredible. I learned so much about the city and Vietnam, and he shared the history and local context in such an easy, engaging way. He was very knowledgeable and patient, and he also took great pictures for me throughout the tour. Exploring Hoi An on his bike made the whole experience even more fun and memorable. Highly recommend!

Mr Quy and friend took us on a private motorcycle tour through the rice fields, fish farms, community vegetable gardens, wood craft village & war cemetery. He took time to explain the culture & history. We also stopped for coffee. It was a great way to see the countryside and backstreets. Highly recommend.
Had an awesome time with Mr Quy ( Sunrise Tours ) did the 3 hr country side tour which was informative and most interesting, Mr Quy the owner is fluent in english and fun to be with , I am so glad and satisfied that I choose this company , we were not rushed , felt safe on the motobikes and got a real glimpse of rural life if Hoi An . I would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Hoi An if you would like something more authentic and real .
Sam and three other riders took me my wife and two teenage kids on this tour. It was great fun and lets you see some other parts of Hoi An off the main tourist areas. Highly recommend, they drive carefully so don’t be worried if you’re a little nervous about traveling on a bike. Best way to see the back roads of the area! Thanks Sam!
A very enjoyable experience. Tourist guide Quy was excellent. We learnt a lot about the history and the day to day living of the locals. The Coconut coffee is very tasty. The countryside scenery is picturesque.
We had an unforgettable experience with Mr. Quy on our private tour! Exploring the farming and agricultural side of Hoi An was both unique and insightful. Mr. Quy was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating information throughout the journey. I felt completely safe and comfortable riding my scooter the entire time. This tour was a true highlight of our trip — an absolute must-do when visiting Hoi An!
Quy took me out on his bike for the day and showed me the countryside of Hoi An. Highly recommend this tour. I was a bit nervous on the back of the bike but he was a great driver.
An amazing experience to do with friends! Highly recommend we had lots of fun- the tour guides taught us so much and made sure we all had a good time and took good photos
We had the most incredible time with Quy. He went above and beyond for us. He taught us so much about Vietnam and their traditions within the villages. He spoke english so well and made the day fun for us. It was great to see the agricultural and rice fields. 3 hours was the perfect amount of time. Highly recommend!!!
Great trip, fun and very informative guide! We went to the countryside area of Hoi an by motorcycle. Thanks for the tour ☺️
Had an awesome experience with Mr Quy, he took us on a tour to places such as the Driftwood Village that we didn’t know existed. Mr Quy was very knowledgeable, super friendly and very hospitable. Highly recommend a tour with him and his team.
This was our first time riding on a motorbike, so we were a little nervous at first, but the drivers were very safe and experienced and soon made us feel comfortable. Our whole family (6 people, kids ages 8-17) enjoyed the experience. Quy was a great guide, and I felt like we really learned about what life is like for many people in Vietnam—fishermen, rice farmers, boat builders, fruit and vegetable farmers, and craftsmen.
Amazing Experince and learned a lot about the life and Experince of countryside VN people. Our guide was amazing and had a great laugh.
An amazing cultural experience - loved it ☺️ At 8am, my driver Quy picked me up from reception 🏍☺️. Off we went, heading through beautiful lush green countryside, abound with motorbikes, bicycles and the occasional buffalo, all happily coexisting, in this beautiful part of the world 🏍 🚲 🐃 ☺️. The beautiful Cua Dei beach was our first stop, for a relaxing gaze across the peaceful ocean to the Cham Islands, where Vietnam’s military are stationed, keeping an ever alert eye on any potential Chinese advances down the coast 🛥 Next we arrived at a place abundant with small fish farms 🐟. All agricultural land here is owned by the Vietnamese Socialist government, and farms are leased by the farmers for a nominal annual amount. The farm has two 4 month seasons, with it being dormant in the Hoi An winter, from Sep to Dec. Small fish are bought, released, fed, fattened up, caught via a net at the end of the four months and sold live at the local fish market 🐟. As the fish get bigger the farmer will stay in the little house on the lake with a couple of angry dogs, to ward off mischievous kids, looking to cash in with an overnight illegal catch 😳. A farmer can expect to make $6,000 per year profit from this venture. Next we passed through rice paddies, the National food of Vietnam 🇻🇳. Rice is cheap, so the Vietnamese will eat it 3 times per day 🍚😋. Even the poor can afford it so no one goes hungry in Vietnam 😌 The vegetable farm was a lovely vibrant touch and a hive of activity. The government doesn’t charge rent to these farmers, to ensure the 200 year old enterprise survives 😌. A sobering trip to a Vietnamese War monument reminded me that this beautiful country hasn’t always been this tranquil, hard to imagine today 😌 Heading across a nearby bridge we found ourselves at a local boat building town, where old mate, works feverishly to craft mahogany boats by hand, each one taking him only 10 days to make 😲, As we pass along the river, Fishing nets hang above, in readiness for being used in the night 🐟🎣 . An finally it was the floating bridge, a symbol of the ever changing face of Vietnam, as the adjacent permanent bridge, has recently replaced it, as a means for cars, motorcycles and bikes to get to the small island 🏝. It was a lovely trip, but eventually saying good bye to Quy, Quy was a lovely humble man, drove very safely and was very informative about the area and it’s culture 🙏 A Must Do ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅
Fantastic tour! Mr Quy was friendly, fun and very informative about Vietnamese culture. We highly recommend this tour
Mr. Quy was amazing—kind, knowledgeable, and gave me the royal treatment on my solo tour. He picked me up right from the restaurant where I was having lunch, and off we went to see the beach, fish farms, rice fields, and a beautiful organic herb garden. We also visited Kim Bong carpentry village and stopped for a lovely coffee break. Mr. Quy shared so much local history and insight throughout the day, and today I was surprised with all the photos he took of me—such a thoughtful touch. I absolutely loved every moment. Highly recommend this tour!
Mr Quy ran the best motorbike tour! It was a 3-4 hour tour of regional areas of Hoi An. Small group size which made it really nice. Mr Quy is easy going and made everyone feel comfortable. Would absolutely recommend this tour if you like alot of motorbike riding and a really casual tour style 😄
An awesome trip seeing some off the beaten track places and getting a better understanding of how Vietnamese people live. Highly rec
This was a fantasitc experience of Hoi An's countryside. Mr Quy was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable with great English. Booked the tour and ended being fortunate enough to get a private tour. Some of the highlights were stopping in a cafe to try the local salt coffee, meeting the local farmers and visiting the wooden village. Would highly recommend Mr Quy to anyone who who wants to get out of the city, especially if you have an interest in the agricultural and cultural side of Vietnam.
Fantastic tour! The drive through the countryside was beautiful with lots of different scenery. Mr. Quy and his team were wonderful, knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend!
Great tour around the countryside. Mr Quy was very informative and passionate about his country. Got picked up on time from our hotel and driven around safely on the back of motorbikes. Saw buffalo on the road side and stopped for pat and photo. Visited garden and watered plants the local way. Saw fish farm and rice fields . Stopped for lovely coffee. Visited Buddhist pagoda Temple and local wood carving site. So much to see and visit Thank you My Quy.
Yesterday we had the pleasure of Quay and his colleague take us around on an adventure to the countryside on the motorbikes. It was our first time on the motorbikes since being in Vietnam and they made the experience so fun and comfortable!! We stopped several times during the trip. I highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to see the rural hidden gems of Hoi An.
We did the motorbike tour with Mr Quy and highly recommend it. We were picked up from our hotel on time and spent the morning being driven around the outskirts of Hoi An visiting fish farms, rice fields, Hoi An vegetable gardens, wood working village and floating bridge. The tour was safe and fun and good value for the price paid. Mr Quy was very knowledgeable and was a great guide for the day.
Great day out with Quy. It felt very authentic and local. We loved the vegetable garden part especially. Highly recommend! A note to wear warm clothes because the wind gets cold!
Had an incredible experience on this guided scooter tour in Hoi An! The ride through the countryside was stunning, with beautiful rice fields, charming villages, and friendly locals along the way. The guide was knowledgeable, fun, and made sure everyone felt safe. Stopping at hidden gems and enjoying local coffee was a highlight. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore Hoi An beyond the usual tourist spots!
Best tour we’ve done in Vietnam. Mr Quy was an incredible host and the tour gave us an up close look at some hidden gems. Best day!!
Mr Quy and his team were amazing. We had a great time despite the rain. We saw a lot and learnt a lot and would definitely recommend this tour for anyone keen to see the Hoi An countryside.
Thank you for historical facts, that was interesting! There were numbers, precision facts, dates, I like that! Thanks for that !!!
Absolutely fantastic time. Mr. Quy and his team were the best. We have done a lot of tours and I really appreciated the education, the places he took us and the ride. It literally rained the entire time but they brought us ponchos and I think it was almost more fun!! The locals that we meet were so kind and happy. This is local and not a chain. So they don’t have 5,000 reviews but they are 100% authentic and legit!
Excellent tour with Mr Que , fishing , farming , ducks & buffaloes , beaches & herb gardens . Terrific sightseeing , lots of fun . Mr Que has great English & great sense of humour , fully recommend .
Mr Quy gave us an amazing tour this morning. We were able to see places we would never have gone to by ourselves and he gave us real insight into the lives of a rice farmer, fish farmer and from the herb/vegetable farmers point of view. We loved the off the beaten track nature of his route which wound around the rice fields and away from main roads. The second part of the trip focused on the crafts people around the island across from Hoi An and Mr Quy was good to show everything and introduce us to the craftsmen but there was no pressure to buy. Great experience, safe motorbike riding and really interesting. Definitely recommended.
Fabulous experience with Sam and his team! Saw parts of the wider area of Hoi An’s countryside that we would not have otherwise accessed with expert bike driving from Sam and team, who were fantastic - warm, friendly and funny guys! Very open and informative too. We absolutely loved it!
Had a great ride on the back of Sam's motorcycle. As I was the only 1 in the group Sam was very accommodating on timing of the trip so I didn't miss my flight later that day. Sam's English was top notch so communication was free and easy and he has a great sense of humour. Very competent driver aswell. Fully recommend this trip and tour guide Sam
This tour is absolutely fantastic, we had such an enjoyable tour. Quite our guide was supper friendly and gave us lots of insight into Vietnamese life in the country. This was my most enjoyable and informative tour in Vietnam so far. It was so good to get out of the city and see the countryside. Peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bussel. We particularly enjoyed the vegetable village and interacting with the farmer. I recommend this your and Quy to everyone who visits Hoi An
