The Ho Chi Minh Trail, also know as the Truong Son Trail was a complex network of supply routes that ran from North Vietnam to South Vietnam, passing through neighboring Laos and Cambodia.
The Ho Chi Minh Trail named after the leader of North Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh. The construction of the Trail began 1959 by group 559, a logistical unit of the PAVN. The trail was strategically important during the Vietnam War, as it allowed North Vietnam to send troops, weapons, and supplies to the Viet Cong in South Vietnam.
The trail consisted of thousands of miles of dirt roads, footpaths, and waterways, and was often moved or hidden to evade bombing raids by U.S. forces. The U.S. heavily bombed the trail in an effort to disrupt supply lines, but it was extremely difficult to completely destroy due to its complexity and the dense jungle terrain.
The Ho Chi Minh Trail played a vital role in the military strategies of North Vietnam, enabling the flow of troops and supplies that helped sustain the war effort against the South Vietnamese and U.S. forces.

Cotu - Cơ Tu is small ethnic group living primarily in the central regions of Vietnam, they are living in the mountains of Quảng Trị, Quang Nam, and Hue. They speak the Cotu language. The Cotu people are traditionally agricultural, growing rice, maize, and vegetables, and they also engage in hunting and fishing. Their social organization is based on extended family units, and they practice animism, with rituals and beliefs closely tied to nature. We will stop in some villages to learn their traditional, meet and talk with local, trek in beautifal mountaints, rice terraces.

The Hai Van Pass is border of both cities Hue and Da Nang. The Pass is the Viet Nam highest Pass(500 meters above sea level), stretching 21 kilometers long, linking 2 cities Hue and Da Nang. The Hai Van Pass known for its winding curves breathtaking views of the coastline and lush greenery it really does after a dramatic contrast of mountains and sea.
The pass gained international frame after being featured on Top Gear Viet Nam special. Where Clarkson and co described it as a deserved ribbon of perfection on one of the World's best coastal.
Located at the summit of the pass is Hai Van Quan. A history Gate built in 1826 under Emperor Minh Mang flanked by remnants of French and American military force and perched at 490 meters, it offers stunning views of the mountains and coast and a recognized national relics.

Suối Mơ Waterfall located in Hue that flows from the big mountains down to the Sea. The name "Suối Mơ" means "Dream Spring", and the beauty of the waterfall will leave you speechless. Surrounded by dense forest and rocky cliffs, the waterfall cascades down into cool, clear pools perfect for a refreshing dip. Take some time to relax by the waterfall and enjoy the natural beauty of this tranquil spot. Tam Giang Lagoon is a biggest Lagoon in southest Asia. The Lagoon has an area of 20.000 hectares water surface, and stretches 70 kilometers along the coast. The lagoon framed by the mountains on the west and a strip of land separating it from the ocean. The name "Tam Giang" means "three rivers" referring to the "three rivers" that feed into this large brackish lagoon located in Hue province. Nhat was our guide he was friendly, accomodating, caring and very professional. I was initially nervous about a motorbike trip but he made me feel safe and comfortable. The selection of places to eat and our homestay were excellent. We learnt a lot of Bietnam history too. The communication with the boss to initially organised the trip was also great. We had an awesome experience and are very grateful thank you again.

My Family did the 1 night 2 day tour with Mr T. We did a 1 day tour last year, liked it so much we returned this year. We had the most amazing time, we felt safe and comfortable with all of our easy riders. Mr T and Thinh spoke good English and were very knowledgeable about the local areas and historical sites. There were also lots of laughs along the way. I highly recommend the overnight stay in a small village, we got to see so much more of central Vietnam in the 2 days. You can tailor your tour to suit your group, Mr T is very flexible with the destinations you would like to visit. I can’t wait to return and choose another tour with Mt T easy riders.

Fantastic experience through and through. All the riders were experienced and handled slippery and rough roads phenomenally. We also had luck on our side and got a good mix of rains and clear skies. The tour was awesome! They provided a comprehensive tour that included all the major sites from Hoi An to the border of Laos, all the way to Da Nang. Nhat , Duc, Nhan were an amazing team. I felt very safe while riding with them. I would tour with them again. They are very nice and super helpful tour guides. I had an amazing experience on this 2-day motorcycle tour. The route was well planned, offering a great mix of scenic views and local culture, and everything felt smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. He made sure I was comfortable at all times, showed me around thoughtfully, and really went the extra mile to ensure I had a great time. My fiancé and I did a 2-day motorbike tour with Thinh, and it was absolutely incredible. Thinh was a fantastic guide who always made sure we were doing well and tailored the entire schedule exactly to what we wanted. He picked us up right at our hotel. Since my fiancé and I wanted to ride together on one scooter, Thinh carried all of our heavy luggage on his own motorbike and led the way. It was perfect because it left the two of us free to just enjoy the ride and the scenery. Every single stop was amazing. We did a rice paper making experience, visited the stunning My Son Sanctuary (a UNESCO World Heritage site), and went to a secret waterfall. The road to the waterfall was quite bumpy, but it was totally worth it! Thinh was great and let us know that if we didn't want the bumpy ride, there was a more accessible waterfall option—he gives you total freedom to choose. Thinh knows all the best local spots for lunch, so you can just plan the day however you like. Our lunch on the first day required a bit of a long drive, but the views along the way were incredibly stunning. That night, we stayed at a homestay in a more remote part of Vietnam. After a good night's sleep, we continued our tour with breakfast and some local coffee. My fiancé mentioned that she really liked Lychee and hop, Thinh was off to get us some Lychee and his own favourite fruit. We then visited some beautiful tea plantations and a local ethnic minority village of the Catu (Co Tu) people, which was a really rich cultural experience. Thinh is incredibly helpful at explaining his country’s culture and historical heritage, and he does it in such a fun, nice way. He is always smiling and laughing! On the last day, we had a great seafood lunch. The original plan included another waterfall and the Marble Mountains, but we decided we just wanted to focus on the riding and get back an hour earlier. Thinh was completely fine with this—you can adapt the schedule exactly as you please. In the end, we arrived safely and happily back in Hoi An. We had a great time and will definitely ask for Thinh for our next tour!
It was an incredible experience, thuan is a really good guide, answering every question we had about the culture, showing us some hidden spot. The landscapes are stunning, you can enjoy the freedom of biking in the middle of the mountain with no one. Thanks again for the nice weekend trip!
We did the 3D2N trip from Hue to Hoi An with Thinh and Duc as our easy riders and it was the highlight of our 5 weeks in Vietnam. The itinerary of the trip was fantastic, Thinh and Duc absolutely made the trip super special sharing their life and culture I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The places we visited, accommodation and food was all 10/10 and we were the only tourists around which added to the trip feeling extra special! Thank you Thinh and Duc for making our trip so special!
Our 2-day Easy Rider trip from Da Nang to Hue was a fantastic experience. It was a great way to explore the countryside, see stunning views, and get a glimpse of local life in places we would never have found on our own. A special mention goes to Thomas, my Easy Rider and guide, who was very friendly and professional. He made the journey easy and safe, and his knowledge added a lot to the experience and made it extra special. Definitely a trip we would recommend.

Vu and Duc were the best!! This experience was the highlight of my friend’s and my Vietnam trip. Vu and Duc made us feel so safe, and the tour was perfectly planned — the guides were extremely kind and informative, and we especially appreciated the cold beverages, among the many other excellent accommodations. Day 1 of the tour was my birthday, and Vu and Duc bought me a cake to celebrate at night. I’ll never forget these magical two days in the mountains!!!!
Vu & Duc(🦆) were AMAZING guides. we felt like princesses 👑 and although likely not the case, the trip itinerary felt catered to us personally. it was my friend Sophie’s birthday and so I secretly told them on morning 1 and they surprised us with a birthday dance party and cake at our evening home stay. excellent experience that we’re sure to be talking about for years to come.
We had a wonderful tour with Mr. T. and Tom. They took really good care of us and we had a lot of fun. The views during the tour were stunning and they took us to very interesting and beautiful places. They also could tell us a lot about these places. We loved the tour so much that we constantly had a big smile on our faces. We can recommend this to everyone for sure!
just now New I did the 2 day and 1 night da nang loop easy rider with Mister T. I had no idea what to expect at first but I had an amazing time. I felt safe as a passenger the entire time. You can tell the amount of time and energy he put into creating this trip and making it as great as it could be. The trip was as advertised, plus some extra surprise stops that I quite enjoyed. In such a short amount of time I had the chance to see the countryside, minority villages, the beach, and the mountains. I feel like I had a whole summary of central Vietnam in a short time all due to Mister T. He was very friendly, professional, and took time to get to know me and personalize the trip even more for me. I would highly recommend if youre here for a while and want to explore more in depth or even here for a short time and what to experience it as much as possible
Brilliant tour with Mister T. Felt very safe on the bikes (I rode pillion with Mister T my boyfriend got his own bike) and his English was excellent. Very informative and enjoyable and adjustable to what we fancied doing. My boyfriend also has serious food allergies which Mister T ensured were catered for. Would definitely recommend!
I cannot say enough good things about Mister T’s Motorbike tour. Very friendly and experienced English speaking tour guides. Mister T was always very responsive on WhatsApp leading up to our trip and made sure we were comfortable at every step of the way. It’s definitely the best way to explore Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An. Mister T and Duc picked my friend and I up right from Da Nang airport, and immediately brought us to get custom silk & leather goods made to ensure they’d be ready by the end of our tour and then we were off on our adventure. We went to the inspiring My Son Sanctuary, rode through the stunning Ho Chi Minh trail/Marble Mountains before staying at a Prao Guest House where the host was so welcoming and made us the best ginger tea I’ve ever had with calamansi and jujubes (small apples). The next day, we were humbled by the minority villages, rice fields, tea plantation and rode through the beautiful Hai Van Pass. Definitely would ride with Mister T again! Next time, I would fly in to Hue airport and ride the coast through to Hoi An and stop by other sights!
We had a great 2 day, 1 night trip that was a nice balance of seeing the sites/doing touristy things and immersing ourselves in the culture. We visited My Son Sanctuary and High Van Pass, plus a couple local villages, including a school. The weather, wasn’t the greatest, but Mister T was well equipped and made sure we were comfortable. Even though I wish there was less rain and clearer skies, it was still a great trip and I’d still highly recommend exploring the area by motor bike!
Me and my friend got the scooter tour from Hoi An to Hue with Mister T and I honestly couldn’t recommend him enough! We rode our own scooters and our he rode ahead and showed us all the sights along the way. We felt very safe the entire time and he was even kind enough to invite us to his home at the end of the tour for a beer and to meet his lovely family and his pet doggos! We had to do a condensed version of the tour as we had to get to Hue in one day but it was still completely worth it. Mister T is the best!!! 🛵

When we booked the tour with Mr. T we didn’t know exactly what to expect, but that was part of what made it the highlight of our whole trip. He takes care of everything, and the tour is executed perfectly. His communication leading up was quick and super helpful and the tour itself was amazing. We did 2 days and 1 night and experienced scenery, people, and food that just wouldn’t be possible without a guide with 12 years of experience! The option to drive yourself or be driven, the provided full rain gear, beverages, and stopping at amazing local spots with help ordering the best dishes made this one of the most unique travel experiences we’ve had. If you’re considering the tour, and asking yourself if you really need to ride a bike with a guide through central Vietnam to really experience the country, just do yourself a favor and book the tour with mr T.

Brilliant trip. Mister T is a fabulous guide and a very safe rider. We had a wonderful time travelling through the Vietnamese countryside and seeing and experiencing things we never would have seen without a local to show us these. He speaks excellent English and shares so much knowledge about the people, the wildlife and the traditional Vietmanese way of life. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An exceptional day, an absolute must-do! We made the trip from Hội An to Huế by motorcycle with Mister T Easy Rider and we simply loved this day. Much more than just a simple trip between the two cities, it is a true excursion that allowed us to discover magnificent landscapes, make numerous stops, and fully enjoy the famous Hai Van Pass. Between the mountains, the sea, the rice paddies, the small villages, and the various viewpoints, it was a feast for our eyes! Our two drivers/guides were adorable, very professional, attentive, and always concerned about our safety. We felt perfectly confident from start to finish. They took the time to explain the places we passed through, to stop regularly, and to take very beautiful photos of us. No stress, no rushing: just the pleasure of enjoying the day. We left around 8 a.m. from Hội An and arrived in Huế around 6 p.m., with our luggage taken care of. A whole day that we will truly keep an excellent memory of. It was one of our best experiences since our arrival in Vietnam. ❤️ A huge thank you to the entire Hue Touring / Mister T Easy Rider team for this magnificent day. We recommend this excursion 100%!

It was a fun two-day trip. Our guide called himself mister t. We drove a family with two children, three drivers and a self-driving husband. The trips were long. The views were very nice and overall it was really fun. Make sure the guide spoke good English. The drivers' driving was excellent and sharp and kept our safety.
We booked the tour one night before and didn't really know what to expect. The tour over the Ho Chi Minh Trail was incredibly impressive. Everything was taken care of and we took a break every half hour. Drinks were always provided and everything else was super organized. You didn’t have to stress out at anything and could take your time. Absolute recommendation. And with Mr. T, you can see the enthusiasm he has at work. Nature was indescribably beautiful. Gladly again if I am here again.
We have booked with Mr. T and have been on the road with Luc and Hoa. Really an unforgettable day on the back of the bike!!! Several stops, including marble Mountain, the beach and a fantastic beautiful spot at a waterfall where we could swim. We were well taken care of and the views from the bike and during the stops were unforgettable!!! Really recommended to do , especially with these 2 cozy, good English speaking motorcyclists💝
This road trip was great! Very authentic! We were only with friends and with our drivers! We learned a lot and saw beautiful landscapes! I loved it!! Thinh, Duc and Dung are super funny, very careful, and above all we discover great places! We walked the coast, the mountains, small villages and the forest. At each stop we were entitled to a presentation and explanations of the place! Really we loved it, every moment was wonderful. I had never ridden a motorcycle and yet I had confidence all along the way. Frankly it is one of my best memories I recommend to try the experience! Thanks to them for their kindness 🫶🏼
