We have now stayed at Son Hoi An Boutique Hotel & Spa a couple of times, and we absolutely love it! It is such a unique and special hotel, full of character and charm. Almost every room has its own individual design, and the beautiful artwork throughout the hotel, including on the walls and roof, adds to its distinctive style and personality. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Hoi An Ancient Town, making it perfect for exploring everything this beautiful place has to offer. However, what truly makes this hotel so wonderful is the incredible staff. From the doorman to reception, the restaurant team and the housekeepers, everyone greets you with a big smile and goes above and beyond to help. Their genuine warmth and hospitality make every stay feel special. A special mention to Trang and Mrs Li at reception, and Trang and the entire restaurant team. Thank you for always making us feel so welcome and looking after us so beautifully. You all do an amazing job and are a huge part of what makes this hotel so special. It is rare to find a hotel where you feel less like a guest and more like a friend returning home. We feel truly honoured to be your guests and are already looking forward to coming back next year and seeing all your friendly faces again. Thank you for everything you do. You make Son Hoi An Boutique Hotel & Spa a truly wonderful place to stay, and we cannot recommend it highly enough!

I really love this hotel. The architecture, the interior, the accommodating and friendly staff, the food. It is located in the outskirt of the city. Hoi An Old Town is only a stroll away (10 minutes). During the day and in the evening is quiet. My stay was excellent. Thank you for your hospitality. Keep up the good work! We would come back one day.
I wanted to share a concern from my recent stay, not as a complaint, but as feedback about guest care. I arrived at the hotel on the 5 June at 12 PM. At that time, my daughter was feeling unwell and needed a room to rest. I requested an early check-in, instead of waiting until the standard 2 PM time. The receptionist informed me that a room was already available, but said there would be a charge of 500,000 VND for the two-hour early check-in. She was appeared unfriendly and rigid in their demeanor. Their facial expressions and tone did not convey warmth or a willingness to assist. This made the check-in/ interaction feel unwelcoming and transactional, rather than customer-focused.” As someone who understands hotel operations, I was disappointed. The room was ready, and my daughter was visibly sick. I felt the focus was entirely on collecting an extra fee, rather than showing basic care for a guest in need. I would have hoped for some flexibility or compassion in that situation. I’m sharing this because I believe true hospitality means recognizing when a guest genuinely needs help, not just enforcing a rule. I hope you might consider allowing frontline staff some discretion in situations involving illness. Thank you for listening.
We liked it so much last year, we came back again this year. The hotel is beautiful everywhere-The reception, the dining area, the pool, the corridor and of course, the room. We booked the same type of room as last year, but to our surprise, it's kind of the same but probably better, because this time, we've got a outdoor bathtub on the balcony! I love it! The staff are amazing as usual. The welcome fruits were so generous, and the breakfast buffet is amazing! We used to go to Thailand, but now we have to say Son Boutique is our favorite hotel in the world.
We stayed at Son Boutique Hotel in Hoi An and overall had a pleasant and comfortable experience. The check-in took around 30 minutes even though we arrived at 2 PM, but it was handled smoothly and without any hassle. The hotel is located slightly away from the main Old Town area, which honestly felt perfect to us. It’s quiet, peaceful, and a nice break from the constant crowd, while still being close enough to reach everything easily. The hotel itself is very beautiful with lovely interiors, and the ambience feels calm and welcoming. The staff were extremely friendly, warm, and comforting throughout our stay. A nice touch was the free bicycles, which made it easy and enjoyable to explore Hoi An at our own pace. The food was good as well, both in quality and taste, and added to the overall comfort of the stay. One small suggestion for improvement: the hotel should consider installing a water refilling station or providing drinking water free of charge. In most places we’ve stayed, water is complimentary, and it would be a thoughtful addition here too. Overall, it was a good stay with great staff, a peaceful location, and a beautiful property. With free drinking water included, it would be even better.
