Silk Sense Hoi An River Resort

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Brilliant Stay – Loved This Place! What a fantastic place! We absolutely loved our stay at Silk Sense Hoi An River Resort. From the minute we arrived, the welcome was brilliant. The staff here really are exceptional — genuinely friendly, incredibly helpful and always smiling. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they really helped make our stay special. The resort itself is beautiful. It’s in a fantastic, peaceful location by the river and is the perfect place to escape and relax after a busy day exploring Hoi An. The whole place has a lovely calm feel to it. The food was superb as well — we ate here several times and everything was excellent. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice, and the quality throughout was really impressive. The spa deserves a mention too! Absolutely fantastic and exactly what was needed after days of walking around Hoi An. 😄 But ultimately it’s the people that make this hotel. Great location, beautiful surroundings, brilliant food, lovely spa and, most importantly, a fantastic team of people. We had a wonderful stay and genuinely didn’t want to leave. Would come back without hesitation. Highly recommended! 🇻🇳

Stayed for 5 nights, we are from the UK and it was our first visit to Vietnam. From the moment we got out of our transport from the airport we knew we had picked a good hotel. The staff are so friendly and polite and they remembered us and our room number which was a lovely touch. We used the shuttle into old town but found the 9pm shuttle back chaos so opted for a grab as only £3. There are a number of local restaurants, Spas and places doing same day on laundry. Eating local was cheaper than in the old town. I really loved An gia cottage. We are there twice. There is a pool bar on site. Happy hour is 4-6pm. Drinks are more expensive than in a local bar but they make a lovely Singapore sling. Really enjoyed the offered activities, we did Towel folding, coconut leaf folding where we made a bird and a bug and we paid to make lanterns. Lovely pool on site as well and good choice on breakfast. We didn’t eat dinner as it was more expensive than walking 5 minutes but the free tasting lunch was lovely. If we returned to Hoi A this would the hotel we would choose again. We had a family suite so 2 rooms with a double bed in each room, bathroom is a glass cube, remember to close the curtain before using the toilet.

We enjoyed our stay at Silk Sense. Good points: The breakfast buffet had a good variety and most dishes were delicious. We in particular enjoyed the coffee bar where my husband usually ordered cappuccino and fresh ginger lemongrass tea. Our toddler enjoyed the pool and the little treats that were given everyday. My parents love the lush garden and setting. Every staff were respectful and friendly. Not so good points: The rooms are a bit dated in some parts (e.g. I find the lack of a rain shower in a modern resort very disappointing) and the prices in the restaurant/pool bar are quite high (e.g. a glass of juice was 3-4 times the price in a local restaurant). But we never felt obliged to order from them. The shuttle bus to and from the old town also ran less frequently than we would have liked, so we took Grab quite often instead. Great points: They cared for you. Our toddler was sick one night with high fever and the cleaning staff on their shift (I believe their names were Loi & Hue, or Tam & Tien) went out of their way to find a cooling pad for him. Almost all of our requests were handled promptly.

Lovely hotel. Comfortable beds. Great outdoor pool with nice seats. They have shuttle buses to the old town, beach and back. we loved the pickleball courts and played there each day. the surroundings are very nice although i think nearby there’s a karaoke place and people sing the wholeee day (not too disturbing though). Breakfast was good, our package included a set lunch and that was very good as well! Staff was very friendly and helped us arrange an airport transfer for the day after we checked out.
