Royal Riverside Hoi An Hotel

Here's a "detailed" review, so take a seat. 1. Location. - The hotel is located at the edge of the town, hence, at night, it's much quieter and more serene than the hub. - The river in front of the hotel is wider, and much more scenic than the hub, as you can see in the photos. - Even though there are restaurants and stores around the hotel, you do have to walk a bit to get to the hub. However, you can use the complimentary bicycle like we did, and the hotel has plenty to provide. 2. Service. - Splendid. Each and every staff member is welcoming, attentive, accommodating, and friendly yet professional. - Communication is swift 'cause they speak English with ease. - We were assisted by Ms. Dat, from the beginning to the end, and she made our stay remarkably pleasant with the smooth check-in & check-out, helping us with the itinerary around the town, and her hospitality, in general. We even shared a laugh on how our surnames sound similar with just a difference in a single letter. 3. Room. - Our room was No. 506, booked via Agoda. It was a Twin Beds one, with a Balcony overlooking the Main Street and the River. I placed a request for a High Floor, and that was, of course, met. - Incredibly clean, well-lit, and a breezy room, with a huge bathtub in the washroom, and the washroom itself is spacious. You can find the attached photos. The towels, the bedsheets, the pillow covers, all were fresh, with no spots or foul smell. - The view from the room is breathtaking, and you get different vibes at different times of the day. Check the photos attached. We even experienced the outlook in a heavy rain. 4. Breakfast Buffet. - Simply outstanding with a wide array of choices, even in the continental section, and immensely delectable. - You get: Rice, Noodles, Porridge, Breads, Croissants, Spreads, Yoghurt, Veggies, Steamed Dishes, Proteins, Salads, Condiments, Garnishes, Egg Station, Juices, Tea, Coffee, Milk, Cereals, Fruits, Desserts, and still a bit more. - There are both indoor (air-conditioning) and outdoor seating arrangements. I chose to sit outside, right next to the river, to enjoy the morning breeze, and bask in the town-life passing-by, while having the scrumptious breakfast. 5. Comforts. - They provide a good discount on the spa service. We did take it. The Spa Zone was nice, but the service was adequate at best. I'll leave at that. - Complimentary Bicycles: They have really well-maintained and sturdy ones, and I literally covered 32 kms, more or less, around the town, in 2 days, including travelling to Lune Center, Memory Island, An Bang Beach, Cua Dai Beach, and Coconut Boat Ride, riding through lanes, streets, major roads, and a coastal boulevard, quite smoothly, without any discomfort. - Swimming Pool: Featuring a Cabo Shelf. Clean, serene, charming and open. Though we didn't take a swim, but we did enjoy a relaxing late evening within the Cabo Shelf. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with luggage, tours and transfers. The suite we visited was impeccable. Very clean and very nicely prepared. The location of the hotel is just outside the most busy areas of Hoi An, but a 5 minute walk to get there. This hotel is a great place to stay

Newly renovated, beautiful rooms, great view, great location. Five minutes' walk from everywhere with a bicycle. The staff was amazing and kind and beautiful, with great service. We really, really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing amazing amazing!!! This hotel was great!!! The staff was so incredibly kind, and made sure we had the best time without being too pushy. The rooms were lovely, spacious, and well designed. The bathroom was spectacular and we enjoyed every minute of our stay!
