We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff, and the service was top-notch. The rooms and common areas were spotless, cozy, and remarkably quiet — we slept exceptionally well.
The location is super convenient, with everything needed close by. A special highlight was the vintage-style breakfast restaurant: the atmosphere there is simply magical. We would happily stay here again.
We stayed in two suites on the third floor for 7 nights, and it was a really lovely experience. The suites were spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows, and a beautiful balcony overlooking the river.
Daily housekeeping did a great job keeping everything clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, with a good variety of options, including freshly cooked eggs made just how you like them.
What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone from reception to housekeeping to the security guard were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling, which made our stay feel extra special.
Highly recommend for anyone travelling on a budget but still wanting a touch of luxury.
Lovely hotel with spacious and clean rooms. The staff are lovely and so helpful. The first room I got had a weird smell but there was no problem changing to another room. Breakfast was nice and in a beautiful little house. I really enjoyed the location as it’s not in the busiest parts of Hoi An but still central enough so that you can walk most places and you can also borrow a bicycle from the hotel.
When we arrived at the hotel late in the evening, the reception was good. We were given our room, but we immediately noticed an unpleasant smell. We thought it might go away, but the night was uncomfortable—the bed felt damp and the odor was very unpleasant. The bathroom floor was also not very clean.
In the morning, I immediately sent a message and went to the reception, and we were given a new room. There was still a slight smell, but not as bad as in the first room. The service at the hotel was excellent, and the pool area was beautiful, with clean water.
We had a very pleasant stay in De An hotel. Location wise, it's but a nice easy 15min walk to old town and the main shopping area and restaurants, which also means a nice quiet sleep through the night as it's not super central. Rooms are nicely decorated and the staff are super friendly folk.
Breakfast had lots of options and is served in an amazing traditional style pergola type room.
