Charm Champion Villa Hoian

For me personally, the location wasn’t ideal. It happened to rain during my stay, and I was shocked to see how flooded the road became. The property itself is quite new and has a nice design touch, but unfortunately there seems to be very little care taken when it comes to cleanliness. I’m fairly certain the bedsheets had been used and not changed before my arrival. When I checked out, I intentionally unfolded the sheets, only to discover that what was underneath was even worse — the mattress was heavily stained, including what looked like old urine stains, and was extremely dirty. Honestly, I can’t even describe how disgusting that bed was. I didn’t make a big issue out of it because I had just arrived from a long journey, was exhausted, and simply wanted to rest. I also appreciated that they allowed me to check in a bit earlier than the official 2 PM check-in time. There were a few other maintenance issues as well. The curtain in my room was completely broken, and the Wi-Fi was quite poor. In fact, the connection was so slow that the TV barely worked properly. I also spotted several lizards around the property, including one in my room at one point 🤣 Another funny but frustrating thing was the main gate. It was locked in the evening, and I couldn’t figure out how to open it. When I ordered Grab delivery, the poor driver basically had to pass my food through a hole in the wall 🤣 It definitely wasn’t the most convenient setup On the positive side, the bathroom area was better maintained, and both the air conditioning and fan worked very well. Those were definitely the highlights of my stay. Overall, while the place has potential because it’s relatively new and has a nice aesthetic, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance issues, poor Wi-Fi, and inconvenient access made the experience disappointing.

The Charm is a gorgeous little place by the rice paddies. My husband and I spent a wonderful quiet month here just relaxing and enjoying our favourite things in Hoi An. The owners are super sweet and helped us out a lot. We used the free bikes to ride in an out of town but mostly just enjoyed soaking up the space and taking a bath on the balcony at sunset. We enjoyed a wonderful 3 day stay in Hoi An at Charm Champ Villa. The location was very central and only 2km from the beach which you can cycle to with free bikes at the villa. Mia was incredibly welcoming and went out of her way to make our stay all the more better! Thank you for having us we hope to stay again sometime soon :)

I stayed here for 4 weeks and it was lovely. Annie and the staff are all beautiful. The room was clean, it looked exactly like the pictures, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space. Annie was very responsive and provided recommendations for Hoi An upon arrival. I received fresh towels and water daily, and room cleaning every few days. The location is well out of old town - peaceful and quiet. Short grab bike to An Bang Beach or Old Town. It’s very walkable plus there are bicycles at the villa that you can take. It’s near rice fields and really flat. Overall great stay, I would come back here again. Thank you!
