This hotel is in the exact perfect location for a city like hcm! All the famous locations are 10 min by walk and it’s so vibrant during the day. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious, we were in a room with a window which I highly recommend and prefer than windowless. The staff are super nice and whimsical
We had a fabulous 4 night stay at the Sky Gem. The location for access to the Ben Thanh markets is honestly amazing and there were so many places to eat and drink just on the same street it was super convenient! The war remnants museum is also a short distance away as well as Independence Palace. I wanted a hotel with a pool and this hotel has that however its on the roof and there's not a lot of space around the pool for relaxing. The included breakfast was much better than expected, lots of western options as well as Asian options, everyone was able to find something they liked. I would love for them to get a proper coffee machine though, feels like you've stepped back in time with the filter coffee on offer. The one small complaint I have is for the shower over the bath. I LOVE having a bath in the bathroom however the step in and out is insanely high, and they really need to install a rail to make sure there's no slipping either in or out, especially out. We had two rooms, my partner and I had a luxury city view with window as we needed the extra desk space for remote work and his son had a Deluxe room with window which was perfect for him. The staff are absolutely lovely and always happy to help!
The service here is incredible. I've stayed across the street for twice the price and got half of the hospitality. Thanks to Khanh, Kevin, Vinh, and Henry in the lobby and at the front door. I plan to return and hope to see the same faces - or meet the staff they've trained. And the breakfast is worth waking up for - even after a night in Saigon D1.
Firstly, I'd like to give a shout out to Henry on reception - he looked after us extremely well and always smiling. The bellboys and kitchen staff were great too. We had a great stay after upgrading our room , so yes it's not a 4 star hotel. The location is the best , especially for first time travellers to HCM.
The location is outstanding . I had seen a few negative reviews and was a bit worried about the hotel. But my experience was different.I found the staff to be friendly, cooperative and polite. The room was clean and of an adequate size. The breakfast was good too . All in all, a happy experience.
