We had a very comfortable stay as a family of three. Although the building is a bit dated, the room was spacious enough and the amenities were well-provided, making it a great choice for a family stay. The location is surrounded by many tourist spots and high-quality restaurants, so we fully enjoyed our time here.
The only downside was the attitude of a female staff member at the front desk, who was very businesslike and detached. Even though we were kept waiting during checkout, she made no effort to help and just kept chatting with her colleagues. Fortunately, when I asked a male staff member (who seemed to be the manager), he handled our request right away, which was a great help.
We were a group of friends staying for 3 nights at this hotel. Check-in was smooth as we previously contacted the hotel about our arrival and they were expecting us. All rooms were fabulous with plenty of space, new amenities and great designs. Breakfast contained both European and Asian products so you could find a lot of options. Pool is big enough and game rooms are good for kids. Concierge did his best to find us a tennis court. Walking distance (20min) to city center , however you can find nice restaurants, exchange office and shops nearby as well. Cash machine (bank) around 5 min walk. Most appreciated were the washing and dryer machine in apartments.
This is a lovely complex. We got upgraded on check in to a three bedroom apartment which was a nice touch and gave us plenty of room as a family of 4.
The location of the hotel was good and quiet. We could walk to all the major attractions in the city easily.
Facilities at the hotel were great and we used the swimming pool, table tennis table and pool tables regularly during our stay.
There is a large supermarket (called co-op mart) behind the hotel, which was handy for stocking up on drinks and snacks.
Breakfast was adequate, with a selection of European and Asian food. The egg station was good.
Would definitely stay in this hotel in the future and we thought it was good value for money.
We had a wonderful stay at Sherwood Residence! From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and comfortable the apartment was—it felt more like a home than a hotel room.
The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the facilities were excellent. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool, gym, playroom, and study room. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and family-friendly.
The staff were welcoming, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Sherwood Residence to families and anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
We stayed at this hotel whenever we’re in HCMC. We left our big/bulky luggage at the hotel when we traveled to other cities. Staffs were friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious although a bit dated. The deciding factor for us to stay here was the fact that every room has washer & dryer machines. We could do the laundry anytime. Breakfasts were good enough that we didn’t have to run around. Game rooms with foozball, billiards/pool, pingpong, and new game consoles were good for kids or even adults. Swimming pool was good in size and well maintained. Gym was clean and well equipped. The hotel has a alleyway/path with security guards through the gym and swimming pool to the other street, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, which has GS25 and Co-opMart, where you can get your daily necessities: extra water, milk, instant noodles, juice, and a lot more.
