Rooms were nice and cozy, bed was soft but the lock thag belonged to the doors of the toilet didn't work well. The view was the alright, bathroom was abit outdated, shower wasnt that nice to use but there were many amenities. Service was great aside from one lady working at the breakfast buffet (which had a wide variety of great tasting food by the way) which was quite rude and another lady who looked slightly frustrated when I asked for extra drinkingwater they refused me . You purchased outside the hotel. We were fourteen members in the group .We demand drinking water when entering the first day ,receptionist refused for drinking water. Location is pretty good as there are many restaurants nearby and a 7 eleven just beside. Truly a 2star experience. In hotel there is no respect for senior citizens. We are all senior citizen.

Our family are from Singapore, travel to Saigon VN quite often and usually stay at Ramana hotel. This time, 17 to 24 Jun 2026, our stay here is excellent served by the staff. Although all of them are great, the F&B and receptionist are wonderful. They are understanding, friendly, helpful. Ms. Tha (the lady at the soup stall) welcomes us every morning with her smiles which make each of our new days brighter. Last time, I agree with someone here who said the rooms are a bit old. But this time, I can see the significant changes and upgrades. Anyway, for the very reasonable price you pay, this hotel is always our first choice. Btw. Very close to Tan Son Nhat airport (less than 10min by cab, less than $5 per trip) is one of the reasons we choose this hotel. 😀😃
First time when I opened the door i was surprised because i didn’t expect it to be this good! Room service was very neat and professional ! The staff were very friendly and helpful and welcoming, we felt so comfortable to stay there🫶🏻 The location is nice, there is 7-11 nearby and have many local strollers. Those are the best! So If any one wants to try local food, see Vietnamese lifestyles we highly recommend you to choose this place! It will be worthy 🫶🏻🫶🏻💗🇻🇳
I had an excellent stay at Ramana Saigon. We got a Deluxe Executive room since there were 3 of us and we booked quite last minute. The price for the room was on the higher side, but the quality was on par with the price. We arrived, were offered a welcome drink (something we didnt get anywhere else in our stay) and checked in. We were asked to give a security deposit of 100 USD (in cash) which was returned back. So if you do end up staying here, remember to carry some cash or be ready to submit a passport as security deposit! The rooms were spacious and tidy, bathrooms were clean and we even got a balcony which was amazing! The breakfast which was included in our stay was quite good - a variety in their spread ranging from Indian vegetarian (no idli, dosa, sambar - pls don't expect that - there will be dal, subzi and rice), and continental as well as asian food (both of which had egg-free and vegetarian friendly options). There were fruits and yogurt too as well as a counter for drinks (coffee, tea, juice etc). Their restaurant offers a set indian vegetarian menu for a nominal 200k VND. The food is good - not exactly how Indian food traditionally tastes - a good attempt considering that they have no Indian chefs. I would suggest that you would make a precautionary request to add less salt in the food if you go for the Vegetarian set menu. Overall, we had a great stay at Ramana Saigon and would definitely come back to stay here, despite it being quite far from the main attractions in District 1!
