Overall it is fine, but not worth the money. The rooms are the biggest disappointment for the price. Beds were not great. Massive! Never seen one so big (that’s what she said). But very firm with pillows that may as well be filled with well-wishes and thoughts and prayers #useless. Bathrooms were average, at best - the showers didn’t have a way of controlling the flow just temperature (?) super weird. Toilets are obviously for the overwhelming amount of Japanese business people that stay, as there is more technology to flush the thing than was on the Apollo 11 (that’s the one that landed). Don’t get a river facing room as there is a massive digital billboard across the river that shows advertisements till late. And it reflects off the water like a mirror. I could almost read my book in the room by the light it put off. One thing, I am now more drawn to communist ideology - I suspect due to the hours of propaganda I was exposed to in a clockwork orange fashion. Yes, I did close the curtains but then why have a river facing room? Staff were ok. Mostly helpful. But very focused on supporting the Japanese business delegations. Breakfast was good, not included in the already high price. However It was also a challenge to get a coffee during service. To the point where I just went and used the machine myself. Again mostly as the staff were focused on the business delegations. The general location is good. Pool was ok, gym was pretty good. Had a sauna and steam room. But you could just walk out side for 15’ins to achieve the same effect. I am not normally this critical but at the price they are charging and the competition in the area it is not worth it.

Stayed in Lotte Hotel Saigon for 2 nights in my first trip to Ho Chin Minh City. Glad to have chosen this hotel. The room amenities are modern, complete and extremely up to expectations. The general facilities (gym/pool) are comprehensive with friendly and ever-smiling staff. The hotel is located within walking distance of Saigon Square, making it accessible to the hustle-bustle of HCMC. Special commendation to frontlint staff Pinky and Manager Tanya, who made my check-in process seamless. They accommodated with all my requests and answered my questions about the city and surrounding areas with patience. This is a hotel I would choose to stay again for my next trip to HCMC.
We have stayed at the Lotte hotel for 2 nights and we never want to leave! This hotel is outstanding. Facilities are immaculate and staff are so attentive, friendly and go the extra mile to help. The reception staff were amazing at booking and coordinating our tours and ensured ease in exploring Ho Chi Minh. Our room was filled with delicious smelling soaps and shampoos and many toiletries that were stocked regularly. Special mention to Phuc working in the pool/gym area. He was so kind and thoughtful , ensuring my partner and I had plenty of towels and water during our stay. He also ensured we were protected from pesky mosquitos in the evening with extra towels and seats away from plants. Thank you Phuc and all staff that made our stay so special!
From the moment my husband and I walked into Lotte Hotel Saigon, we knew we had made the right choice for our first trip to Ho Chi Minh City and our very first visit to Vietnam. The lobby immediately gave us such a warm and homey feeling. It smelled absolutely amazing, and stepping inside felt like entering a completely different world. It was elegant, peaceful, and incredibly welcoming. A special thank you to Manager Veronica for taking such great care of us. She was genuinely warm, friendly, and welcoming from the very beginning. Her hospitality made us feel comfortable right away. She even surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to a city-view room, and honestly, it was the best decision! The view is stunning, so relaxing, and she even told us that we’ll be able to watch tomorrow night’s fireworks display right from our room. We couldn’t be more excited! We’ve only been here for a few hours, but our experience has already exceeded our expectations. I honestly had a few doubts before coming, but they’ve completely disappeared. I just hope this wonderful experience continues throughout our stay—and based on our first impression, I’m confident it will. Thank you, Veronica, Johnny, Aaron, of Lotte Hotel Saigon team, for making our first visit to Vietnam feel so special. We can’t wait to enjoy the rest of our stay!
Having arrived on an early flight I was pleasantly surprised by Ms Veronica (a passionate & sunshine lady) who went the extra mile to accord an early check in and late check out(after checking what time is my flight back home). Such proactive gestures (reflecting a good knowledge of what a hotel guest want and need, but may not always get) differentiates the service level I received from Lotte Saigon. The room is clean, with a stunning river view. While it shows signs of dated, areas where the hotel can make a difference and continue to wow its guest has to be highlighted - such as the super king comfortable bed w enough pillows given to start a pillow party. Also noticeable and appreciated is the clean air and modern hotel lobby and lounge. Great location, being situated just beside VP bank building where I have some business meetings. Just round the corner in a few steps, tons of local shops, walking street, cool cafes katrinat, ever half, egg coffee are places where I patronised. Overall, Lotte Saigon, Ms Veronica, and porter Mr Nick, for sure I will be back, not just for my future business trips but also to bring my family and experience this. Pl keep up the good service!
