Pros: ■Hardworking Frontline Staff: Despite back-end systemic issues, individual staff work very hard and are genuinely helpful —including helping guests cross the busy streets, which is a big plus. ■Excellent Location: Situated right in the city center with plenty of great local eateries, cafes, and spots around. ■Highly Recommend the Executive Room Upgrade: Paying ~10% more gets you a significantly larger room, complimentary laundry service, and access to a quiet breakfast in the Executive Lounge away from the crowded main hall. ■Breakfast Quality: The breakfast spread tastes good, though choices get repetitive after 2–3 days. ■After all, it's inexpensive Cons: ■Severe Communication & Operational Breakdown: - Staff's English proficiency is quite limited, making basic communication dynamic and prone to misunderstandings. - Privacy requests were ignored. I specifically requested no room cleaning and signed the form, yet staff entered the room anyway. - Simple requests were improperly handled (e.g., requested 3 extra towels, received only 1). - Lack of basic product knowledge: Asked if the black coffee contained sugar and was told "no", only to find out it was corn-infused/corn-roasted coffee. Asked if bathrobes/pyjamas were available and was told "no", but found them right inside the wardrobe later. - Concierge desks (Reception) and other services frequently leave phone calls unanswered. - Concierge lady while polite, asked if the other guests if they need "receip" which I personally find hilarious(should be Pro?) ■Poor Soundproofing: Noise insulation is terrible. Street noise and local event sounds (like broadcasted football matches) bleed straight into the room—make sure to bring high-quality earplugs. unless you really like vuvuzela

Great location. It is close to Ben Thanh markets, many restaurants and cafe's, and the new metro. The room service food I ordered was terrible (dry, overcooked and lacking flavour) and the portions were small. The rooms need updating but are clean and quiet. The hot water is not very hot at times, and the plumbing needs fixing. Ask for a room with a shower rose because the handheld showers won't stay in place with water pressure and face in every direction but you. Staff are generally friendly, but a few could try harder to smile. Staff turnover seems high. But, it is a good value hotel, overall.
My stay at Liberty Central Saigon Centre Hotel was excellent from the moment we arrived. The hotel’s location is one of its biggest advantages, situated right in the heart of District 1 and just steps away from Ben Thanh Market, shopping malls, cafés, restaurants, and major tourist attractions. It was incredibly convenient to explore Ho Chi Minh City on foot. What truly made this stay memorable was the exceptional customer service provided by the hotel staff. Special thanks to Mr. Huy, Mr. Hoang Anh, Mr. Chieu and the rest of the hotel team for their professionalism, friendliness, and dedication to ensuring guests have a pleasant experience. They were always attentive, helpful, and went the extra mile whenever assistance was needed. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcomed throughout my stay. We will definitely come back to stay here, in the heart of HCMC!
The Liberty central Saigon hotel exceeds our expectations. It is very high end , modern & calm. The staff are wonderful and helpful especially Hong who ensured we got our room allocated hours early as we were v tired from our flight. Our room is a delightful haven & the pool on the top is fab. Breakfast is included in the price & the choices are huge. No lunch needed for us, we loved the food choices from full English to full Asian cuisine and nice French pastries to round it off. We are returning to this hotel after we visit hoi an, great location as well. Highly recommended.
The location of the hotel is perfect! It’s right next to Ben Tha Market, 3mins away from Saigon centre and quite accessible to the airport (35mins drive). The rooms were decent, a bit compact. The staff were amicable. We’ve only stayed for a night so can’t really say much but we had a pleasant stay! As we had an evening flight, the staff let us check out late.
