Kin Hotel Thai Van Lung

My partner and I stayed here for ~11 days and we experienced amazing service and hospitality from the staff. We were originally put into a nice, city view room but they did warn us ahead of time and apologized that construction on the building beside was going to be noisy (it was out of their control). We decided it would be okay, only to realize after 1 night that it was impossible to sleep with the loud noise levels, so they were able to move us to another room ASAP on the other side. It was almost an upgrade as the room was more spacious! They were very responsive when we requested items during our stay, and always opened the door and greeted us when we came back to the hotel. When it was raining cats and dogs, the security even escorted us back to the hotel under an umbrella after the grab driver dropped us off. Lastly, there were times when we ordered food off Grab, and the staff delivered it to us right to our hotel room, even though technically we were supposed to retrieve it from the driver at the lobby. We weren’t used to this generosity and were very grateful for their help. Breakfast was also amazing! They had pho and option to have eggs cooked right away. Dining area was very clean and lots of space to be comfortable eating. Overall, I give it 5 stars because not only was it quite convenient location wise, but the staff always went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. I sincerely want to thank them all for such an enjoyable stay! It made our trip all the more memorable:)

Kin Hotel is in a good, quiet neighbourhood — a real advantage if you want to rest properly after a full day of work. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the furnishings were perfectly fine for my needs. My only issue was at check-in: the receptionist on duty that day left me with a poor first impression. The staff I dealt with on the following days were noticeably more helpful and professional, which improved my overall experience. Overall I felt at ease here and would recommend it. Everything is at a good standard and it suited my business trip well.

This is a great location if you are interested in being walking distance to many HCM tourist attractions. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! We had no issues with checking in, checking out, or navigating the room. The room was spacious, clean, and well stocked with anything a traveler could need. We also appreciated that we were able to store our luggage at the hotel after checking out! Loved our stay and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice and comfortable place to rest after a day of adventure. For those unfamiliar with the area, this is pretty much in the Japantown area of Saigon! If you love japanese food (lots of izakayas on the same street) and are interested in drinking nightlife, this is a great choice for you.

Although it’s a 3-star hotel, the quality of service truly exceeded my expectations and felt on par with many higher-rated hotels. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing place to unwind after a full day of exploring. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff—they were warm, friendly, and always happy to help with a smile. Their genuine hospitality and professionalism made us feel welcomed and well looked after throughout our stay. The location is another major plus. It’s conveniently situated near shopping mall, plenty of delicious eateries, and makes getting around Ho Chi Minh City quick and easy. The only minor downside was that the walls are quite thin, so we could occasionally hear our neighbours talking and laughing loudly. Fortunately, it was only for one night before we flew home, so it wasn’t a major issue for us.
