This was a great tour and our guide Koh was lovely. Very respectful of any sad bomb related information and sites but also nice light hearted food and drink stops.

Itinerary
Meeting point — Your guide will be waiting here. After a brief introduction, the tour begins with a short walk to the riverside.
Stand before one of the most significant sites in human history. Learn not just what was lost, but the story of the people who were here — and what they chose to do next.
Walk through the streets of central Hiroshima. Your guide shares stories of postwar life that most visitors never hear — the markets, the businesses, and the community that rebuilt from nothing.
Visit a building that stood through the bombing and was quietly woven back into the life of the city. Your guide explains what happened here in the days after August 6.
Step inside a local elementary school that has been part of this neighbourhood since before the war. The walls hold a record of what happened here — and the school is still very much in use today.
A rest stop with a reason. Taste fresh-baked bread from a local bakery with roots in postwar Hiroshima, and hear how food and recovery became part of the same story.
Walk through one of western Japan's most storied shopping streets — and learn where it came from. The tour closes here, leaving time for you to explore the city on your own.
The tour ends here at approximately 12:30 PM.

Great tour and Koh was lovely and helpful even when my kids melted in the heat and cut it short!
Koh was an amazing tour guide. Very fun to talk to. Did a great job getting us to the sites without being in the heat to long. I was surprised at how much there was to see and learn at every turn. Great way to learn the history of Hiroshima. Good preamble to the a-bomb museum. Ended the tour having learned so much about the city and things to do that I wish we weren’t leaving tonight.
Amazing walking tour in Hiroshima. Our guide, Koh, was very knowledgeable and incredibly engaging. We learned so much about the city’s history, resilience, and message of peace. A bonus was the drink and food included. Wow!! A truly moving and unforgettable experience - highly recommend.
This was a very enjoyable and meaningful walking tour of Hiroshima. Over about 2.5 hours, we walked from a peaceful riverside through key historical sites like the Atomic Bomb Dome, with clear and easy-to-understand explanations at each stop. Our guide, Ken, was very kind and informative, though it was sometimes a bit hard to hear him in crowded areas. I joined alone, but the relaxed pace made it easy to chat with others.
Great experience. Good to know Hiroshima’s history.
I had a wonderful morning walk in the Hiroshima city, it’s a good route that begins from the soccer stadium and then through the Peace Memorial Park. It’s also good to switch moods that we had some bread and drinks. The bus to get to the meeting point (soccer stadium)is quite few, so if you missed one, then you’ll be late.
interesting ! thanks so much!
The tour was really good. I have experienced real walk tour of hiroshima. The details given by the tour guide was really usefull and new information. Thank you so much. I can recommend this tour
It was impressive experience for me. The participants were from many countries. I found there are still many points around Hiroshima peace memorial I didn't know. It wasn't only really good opportunity to know about atomic bomb in Hiroshima but also meet new people from over the world.
It was a great experience. The guide was very meticulous and excel at explaining the history of Hiroshima. I was able to learn a lot from this tour even though it was 2 hours and half long. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in visiting Hiroshima.
Interesting tour to experience local feelings of Hiroshima. I strongly recommend this.
It was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Natsuko is very friendly and a knowledgeable person. She explained us about Hiroshima very well. I also learned and gained new insights regarding to the Atomic Bomb, and the river named Motoyasu. During the tour, they also offered us fresh bread and savory juice. The pace of the tour was comfortable and we get to ask many questions. Overall, this tour gave me a deeper understanding of what I can learn from my own.
Our guide did not just recite dates and facts; they shared stories that made the history of the city feel personal and immediate. Walking through the Peace Memorial Park and the surrounding areas with someone who deeply understands the local perspective adds a layer of depth you simply cannot get from a guidebook. It was moving, respectful, and incredibly eye opening.
It was an amazing experience. Natsuko was so polite and I enjoyed walking while learning about the history of Hiroshima. We had some tasty bread too!
He guided me around the city of Hiroshima and I had a great time
I really enjoyed being taken to places in the center of Hiroshima that I don't usually go to, and I had a really good time learning about the history of Hiroshima and the reconstruction process.
