I believe his name was Eji. I’m sorry if I didn’t get your name right. But he was terrific, pointing things out along the way to the shrine. I highly recommend the rickshaw ride to the it the itsukushima shrine on Miyajima Island. He also took photos of us along the way. thank you so much!
The view was amazing The driver was very kind and with a very good English speaking. He explained us lots of things It was one of the best moments during our visit to Japan
This was an amazing experience! Our tour guide, Daichi, as wondering and brought me and my mother on a relaxing tour through the bamboo forest, complete with professional ted talks and photography skills. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to experience the bamboo forest.
Kim was a delightful and professional guide. He transported us through areas of Miyajima that we may never have discovered on our own. My husband and I highly recommend Kim and this rickshaw tour. It was excellent.
Very enjoyable trip for 30 minutes. The pictures and locations were some of the best of the trip. It was a very busy Saturday and Kambo guided us very easily and without delay. Thoroughly recommended
Hama’ our ‘rickshaw boy’ is a lovely, friendly fellow who is enormously strong. His English is good and he entertains with insights and humour. Totally recommend this good-value experience.
Took a private Rickshaw ride and had Hama as our 'man'. He was excellent -so enthusiastic even though he had been doing this for five years. His English was quite good and he wasn't shy about using Google translate when he needed to. A definite thumbs up experience - would highly recommend - we felt like royalty.

We found this tour amazing. The guide new english and his manner was very pleasant.

We didn't realize that the island was so far from the train station! But well worth the travel time. Our driver Ryomo was fantastic. We did 45 minutes on the rickshaw and then wandered around ourselves....some lovely shopping here.

I am posting this review almost an year later. To the tour/rickshaw guide my apologies. It was one of the highlights of our visit to Japan. One could not have seen Miyajima better in a short time like that. The Island would be lovely to spend a day and walk around, we did not have the time to do so. The temples, countryside the cable car ride and cuisine were great. The only landmass that survived the atomic bomb is very evident looking at the surrounding. We took a boat ride from opposite the memorial park. A 40 min ride to the island and probably the easiest way to get there.

The guides are so enthusiastic and fun throughout the hour long trip. We saw more than we would have without using the rickshaws. They guided us through the nearby shrine at the beginning, up a hill to a beautiful garden ending at the market. I highly recommend.

This was the most fun I've had in the whole trip, although at first I felt a little out of my comfort zone being pulled along, I warmed to the idea of sitting like Madam Muck, and imagined what it must have been like in the past when this mode of transport was the norm. A lovely peaceful way to see the main part of the island and 5pm was a great time as most of the hoards of people had gone, Mayo my guide was informative and funny, I loved how well his leg breaks worked going down hills LOL!!

Time constraints , led us to miss the tour time. Upon turning up 40 minutes late , there was no representative around to speak too. If you are staying in central Hiroshima , allow an hour and a half for travel time. This is not very well stated at time of booking.

This was my first time riding a rickshaw. Loitering while confirming the meeting spot. When I called out to a rickshaw driver, they kindly accommodated me, and they adjusted the time and met my requests for viewing locations accordingly. Sixty minutes flew by. The enjoyable and kind time helped relieve my knee and lower back pain. Thank you very much.
I jumped in Miyajima and used it, and it was very good. Older people with limited mobility can enjoy sightseeing without any worries, and the friendly and cheerful Okuo is very soothing. The photos were taken wonderfully and it was a very enjoyable memory. We will use it again. It is really recommended for those who are not confident in their physical strength. Even if you are energetic, we would like you to experience the exhilaration of seeing the scenery from a high point of view of a rickshaw, which is different from walking. I'm hooked.
Kyoko Iwasaki, who was in charge Thank you so much for your support! I'm familiar with the island's history and recommended spots. Miyajima sightseeing became more fun ❣️ She was very beautiful and slender, He guided me powerfully. I had a very good time♪ Thank you for the healing time 😊
My first Miyajima, I was going to see only the torii and leave, but I was asked to leave and it was my first rickshaw Ai-chan's fun story, it's been a strong run for half an hour. It was a fun memory with my daughter! Thank you, Ei-chan.
I asked him to listen to the explanation anyway and to make it easy (laughs). Ryoma-san, it was great. I feel like I saw the heart of the hospitality industry. Fun talk caring. It was several times more fun and educational than just walking around. I'm planning to go to Osaka in April, so if the timing is right, I'll ask you again.
Thank you for taking care of me on a rainy day! I was soothed by your cheerful smile! They showed me places I hadn't been before and I could understand their explanations!
It was Oka-chan's best customer service! It was so good because it taught me things that I couldn't understand just by going around normally in an hour course! I want to go again.
Great experience! Our guide Raita was very interesting and funny. We had a great time. My 10-year-old daughter and I even recommend the experience!
Thank you, Takuma Okada, for the wonderful explanation and fun conversation 🙏🙇♀️ If you ever see me anywhere again, please give me a ride in your car (lol)
I rode my first rickshaw at Itsukushima Shrine ~👌俥夫 my friend's daughter Kyung💆 The cathedral I recommended was nice 🥰, and I was also happy to say hello to the tourists and remember to consider the local residents. He was so good at guiding and speaking that a 30-minute course was not enough. Also, thank you to the Ebisuya representative for your care in making the reservation 🙇 The first 2 are in good spirits thanks to the young power of the staff… Yo 😂 Thank you to everyone 😌
Mr. Takano's sightseeing information, it was fun and easy to understand, and it was a good memory of the trip. It was only half an hour, but it was full of laughter from start to finish, to the point where I didn’t want to be there. They were two heavy men, but I wanted to ask them again. Thank you very much.
I really enjoyed the very easy-to-understand guidance and entertaining talk. I thought that the photos taken at the famous places were correct using the rickshaw rather than going around alone.
Oka-chan, it was fun. The view is great (the autumn colors at the cathedral I recommend were lovely), the talk is interesting and it was great to get a ride!
I was walking to the cathedral when I was approached. Since I had never ridden a rickshaw before, I decided to ride out of curiosity. I was extremely entertained by nice talks, quizzes and sometimes sharp tsukkomi along the way.
The coachman did an excellent job and made the journey very enjoyable. I chose the 30-minute trip, which cost 9,000 yen. The price was reasonable and the route was planned. The driver works very hard to communicate with the guests, takes initiative and creates a pleasant atmosphere.
I rarely have a chance to ride a rickshaw, but my 4-year-old child wanted to ride one with his family of three. May 12th. My dad is quite big...lol. I'm so glad that Kin-chan rode with us! He was fun to talk to and gave us lots of tourist information, so I'll come back and do some sightseeing next time! Even though it was raining, it was a fun trip thanks to Kin-chan! I'd definitely like to use his services again! Thank you
World-famous Shrine in the water of an island off the coast of Hiroshima. You then sail there by boat and have a few hours to visit the island, very beautiful but very busy with tourists
As I was walking towards Starbucks, I saw a rickshaw. I had always been interested in rickshaws, but I never had a chance to ride one. This was my first time in Miyajima since my high school field trip, so I was excited. We had a rich schedule that included sightseeing, eating out, and going around the island, including Itsukushima Shrine. I'm not used to walking anymore, so it was really helpful. Thank you for taking me all the way to the last stop, Starbucks.
When we were tired, we could climb the hill to the temple in the back while sightseeing, and the children were very happy. It was not just a ride, but it also guided us and was entertaining, so we were surprised. We could also enjoy the fresh breeze from the rickshaw.
A family trip to Miyajima. Shortly after arriving, my wife was unable to walk due to the heat and lack of energy. Just then, a rickshaw passed by and my wife begged us to get in. The person pulling the rickshaw was a cute, small girl. I felt very sorry. However, once we started pulling, the strong wind blowing on our faces felt really good. The directions were accurate and the photos were great. Perfect score without a doubt. It was a memorable and wonderful trip. Kusnum-kusnum (Hungarian)
You will be impressed by the view from the rickshaw. It gives a comfortable ride. I got to know Miyajima, which I didn't know. I learned. It was a lovely time to have fun and smile funny. I'm getting hooked on a rickshaw!!! Thank you Taku-chan. Next, I'll nominate. Thank you for the good time.
Today I went to Miyajima with my mother and 3-year-old son. It was my mother's first time riding a rickshaw, but it was really, really fun and awesome!! They took pictures and showed me around Miyajima, and I was able to experience Miyajima in a different way from walking normally! The sun was strong and hot, so the children seemed happy to be able to look out at the sea on Miyajima while cooling off with the sun. Thank you, Mr. Goromaru! If I go to Miyajima again, I want to ride( ⸝⸝⸝ ᐢ ᵕ ᐢ ⸝⸝⸝ )
I came to Miyajima for my daughter's birthday trip. It was very hot, so I was planning to go back to Itsukushima Shrine only to see it, but I used it as a memorial for my daughter, who had never been on it, as a recommendation not to train Ina-chan. He even took photos of me, showing no sign of the pain and visiting places I would never have been able to visit on my own in the hot weather. My daughter was especially delighted with the deer frame-in. It was really good to use it.
The ride was also comfortable, and it was very nice to have a different way of enjoying the scenery from what you see on foot. I was thrilled because there were many places that I didn't notice or know only with my own feet ✨ The commentary was easy to understand and I thought that there was still much I didn't know even though I was a Hiroshima prefecture resident, We had a very satisfying trip ✨ The person in charge was also good at talking and was willing to respond when I asked him if he didn't understand or if he was having trouble. Thank you for your wonderful journey. We would love to use it again.
I love Itsukushima Shrine and always used to go to Miyajima, but now my primary objective is to ride the rickshaw at the Ebisuya. Mr. Takano and Mr. Hamazaki have always been very helpful, We are having a great time. Riding a rickshaw is a bit of a standout, but it is comfortable and enjoyable. I want as many people as possible to know the appeal of rickshaws.
I often come to Miyajima, but it was a first-time rickshaw! I was worried about this girl pulling me in… (laughs) But she pulled that worry elsewhere, powerfully, and taught me a lot about super-secret spots. Aoi-chan, if you have another chance, please (person •ᴗ•♡) I'd love to ask a favor from the president of Ebisuya Group!!! Miyajima has a lot of slopes, so I would like to introduce a rickshaw with brakes. After that, I was given a ride in a rickshaw at an Ebisuya in Arashiyama, but the road surface on Miyajima is extremely harsh by comparison (lol). By the way, three months after the rickshaw experience in Miyajima, I was given a ride in a rickshaw with my wife at the Arashiyama store. Arashi's talking and shooting technique are amazing! It was a good memory.
It was my first time using a rickshaw, but it was a very memorable and enjoyable time. They took me to recommended spots for the rest of the second day of their two-day trip to Miyajima with my daughter, and they accompanied me to pay their respects. We had a good conversation and took a lot of photos. Also, when you go to Miyajima, I want you to take me on a rickshaw (^^)
My daughter and her first Itsukushima Shrine. With so little time, I was approached and tried the luxury of never having it again. But it was so fun, they told me so many stories, and the explanation of the famous places was easy to understand and polite. ☺️It made me feel close to being the same age as my own son. Thank you for meeting me ❤️
It was the best memory of our first honeymoon! That’s how much fun it was! My original plan was not to ride a rickshaw when I was sightseeing on Miyajima. On the way to Itsukushima Shrine, Mr. Hamasaki happened to be the one who approached me. He was very kind and asked me to ride him because it was his honeymoon. Once I got on the rickshaw for the first time, it was surprisingly comfortable to sit in, and I also had a hot water bottle (?).It was very warm because it was laid out. (The weather at the time was really cold because it snowed so hard…) The explanations along the way were very easy to understand, yet my wife, who was very humorous and extremely shy, seemed to be really enjoying herself. Mr. Hamasaki's gag seems to have been a point in wife (laughs) But what surprised me the most personally was that I was very good at taking pictures on my phone. It was a great learning experience and I am so grateful for all the wonderful photos I took. Hamasaki was pulling a rickshaw with his bare hands as the snow was falling, and he was treating us with a smile without showing any sign of cold. Every time I passed him after the ride, he approached me and made me realize how wonderful he was. By the way, we had lunch at Inachu, a restaurant recommended by Hamasaki-san, and ate conger eel and grilled oysters. It was really delicious! I think the reason why I was able to have an accident-free honeymoon afterwards was because I had a good time on the rickshaw. Thank you so much, Mr. Hamazaki! If you ever go to Miyajima again, I definitely want to use it again! This time it was 30 minutes, so I'd like to use it for longer next time. And I'll show you all the stickers in Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter!
