Marin was a fun, lively & exceptional guide. The best we've had in Japan. Her personality reflects how much she loves & enjoys her job. 2 UNESCO sites in one day can't be beat! Such history and gorgeous views at the Shrine & Temple. The Peace Memorial Museum was very crowded, but had a wonderful quick overview of all aspects of the bombing and the after effects. Highly recommend this tour. We had a group of 6 that took a day trip by bullet train from Osaka to Hiroshima. It was well organized but also fast paced.

Itinerary
This castle was built in 1589, You can only see the main building without small houses which is for defending from enemies, because the world was already became peaceful at this era.
The Atomic Bomb Dome, located in Hiroshima, Japan, is a preserved ruin of the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall, which was near the epicenter of the atomic bombing on August 6, 1945. The building’s skeletal structure, with its distinctive dome, remains as a poignant symbol of the devastation caused by nuclear warfare. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1996, serving as a reminder of the horrors of war and a call for global peace and the abolition of nuclear weapons.
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, located in Hiroshima, Japan, commemorates the victims of the atomic bombing on August 6, 1945. The park houses significant monuments, including the Atomic Bomb Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Peace Memorial Museum, which educates visitors about the bombing’s impact. The park promotes peace and global awareness, with events such as the annual Peace Memorial Ceremony. It stands as a symbol of hope for a world free of nuclear weapons.
It was opened to the public since 1954, there are over 50 pieces peaceful monuments. The museum features exhibits with personal stories, photographs, and artifacts that depict the horrors experienced by survivors. It also emphasizes the importance of peace and the abolition of nuclear weapons. The museum serves as a powerful reminder of the need for global peace and the prevention of future nuclear conflict. *From February 16 to 21, 2026, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum will be closed due to exhibit replacement. During this period, we will visit an alternative site, the Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims. Please note that no refunds will be issued due to this change.
We will take a return ferry on this tour for going to Miyajima island.
For those who selected with lunch option, we will have Okonomiyaki in Miyajima Island. Hiroshima Okonomiyaki is a regional variation of the classic Japanese savory pancake. Unlike the Osaka style, where all ingredients are mixed together, Hiroshima's version layers the ingredients. A base of batter is cooked on a griddle, followed by a generous portion of shredded cabbage, pork, and noodles. The dish is then topped with okonomiyaki sauce, bonito flakes, and a drizzle of mayonnaise. It's a flavorful and satisfying dish, beloved by locals and visitors alike. We also have vegetarian Okonomiyaki which does not containds pork nor bonito flakes. Please request when you make a booking. We do not have vegan, halal, gluten free lunch so please select "Without lunch" and bring your own lunch or you can also have a free time at Miyajima while we have lunch.
This shrine was built in 593 by emperor, but most of construction was rebuilt in 1168 by Kiyomori Taira. This shrine was built on the sea. Because, ancient people believed Miyajima island was goddess. The signature of Itsukushima shrine is Otorii gate which stands itself. The high is same size of the great Buddha in Nara prefecture. The pillar's diameter is 10m. You can walk there by your foot when law tide.
At the Miyajima island, not only Itsukushima Shrine but also Daishoin is photogenic. There are many Jizo guardian statues in rainbow color costumes. Also relaxing Budda statue and many lanterns you can discovered.

We had a great day and loved seeing all the special places in Hiroshima. Marin was a wonderful guide with a bright sparky personality and an explanation of the history along the way. Perhaps if the tour started an hour earlier there would have been more time at the Hiroshima museum. As it was, I didn’t get time to view everything. All in all it was well organised and we really enjoyed the day.
Rain did not hinder us from enjoying the awesome temples food , drink. Marin is very good in her job as a tour guide. I recommend her to be the no one in your company. Admission is a breeze, length of tour just about right
Marin was a great tour guide in the pouring rain in Hiroshima. She is so positive and bubbly and made sure everyone in the group was cared for. We had a sobering visit to the Peace Memorial, a satisfying lunch and visits to some amazing temples. The rain enhanced the experience in beautiful Miyajima. If you get Marin as your guide on this tour you are lucky.

Marin was an excellent tour guide with a warm friendly smile all day even with rain pouring down. Marin made sure we had enough time to do everything which was included in the tour even with the rain, she explained everything very well and made sure we all understood what was happening today as well as giving a detail history of the atomic bomb event.
Marin was an excellent tour guide. She was knowledgeable about the places that we visited. She was ensured that everyone was at the meeting points before we moved on to the next location. Marin was polite and kind, which made the tour more enjoyable.
Marin was incredible and spoke very well about all of the destinations in our tour. I would have been lost without Marin and she made the day fantastic!
Excellent day tour with Marin today. Being able to visit Hiroshima and Miyajima in one day was a great option for us. Although it rained all day, she kept up the enthusiasm to make it enjoyable.
Rino was an excellent, and appeared very experienced guide. Her knowledge was great and her people skills were excellent also. Had a great day out.
Our organized tour was fascinating, and filled with incredible scenery. We met our guide, Rino, at Hiroshima Station, and from there, we visited the Peace Memorial Museum and surrounding monuments, which provided deep and meaningful insights. Afterwards, we traveled to Miyajima Island, where we visited one of the most stunning temples we have ever seen. Rino was an exceptional guide charming, perfectly organized, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about Hiroshima's history and culture. She made the experience unforgettable! Me and my wife enjoyed this tour very match.
Me and my husband booked a trip to Hiroshima and Miyajima. We met at Hiroshima station with our amazing guide Rino. We travel by bus to the peace museum and memorials, then we got on a furry to Miyajima to the shrine and the flouting Turi and back to the station. She was friendly, kind, fall of knowledge and funny. We learned a lot and had really good time. Very recommended!!!!
Amazing experience, Rino is amazing guide, my mother and I we learned a lot about Hiroshima and Miyajima and we enjoyed a lot all the parts of tour the beginning of the Hiroshima moniments until Miyajima temple thanks a lot to Rino.
Brilliant tour discovering Hiroshima's history and the beautiful island of Miyajima. Our guide Rino was fantastic: she made our day with her enthusiasm and knowledge! Really recommended!
Great tour of some confronting places at the bomb sites reminding us all never again. Miyajima island is beautiful. Rino our guide was fantastic, well informed funny and made the day very enjoyable
Rino did an amazing job guiding us around Hiroshima and Miyajima Island! She is incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so much fun. I would highly recommend this tour, not only to explore both places but also to learn more about their history and culture. It’s also a super convenient way to visit both destinations in one day, especially if you’re taking a day trip from Osaka or Kyoto. The bus transportation and pre-arranged tickets and entrance fees make everything seamless and stress-free. Overall, a fantastic experience and a great way to make the most of your day!
This was an absolutely excellent experience all around. The tour guide, Rino, was informative and fun to speak with. The part I enjoyed the most was going to Miyajima to see the deer and also eating the okonomoyaki! Eating okonomoyaki with noodles in it was certainly different than the Osaka variant. The other guests on the tour were also respectful. I very much enjoyed this trip to the fullest and look forward to hopefully doing something like this again in Japan in the future.
The experience with Rino-san was really great. We learned about Hiroshima's history and tragedy, but yet we enjoied our time chatting and sharing some jokes and personal anecdoes. Recommended.
My husband and I had an amazing time seeing Hiroshima and Miyajima with Rino as our tour guide. The history, food, and sights were wonderful and Rino provided great additional detail and had Ana amazing and upbeat attitude the kept the day super enjoyable! Highly recommend this tour!
Being able to see and learn the history of what truly happens when WMDs are employed was very humbling, may it never happen again. But not everything on this tour is somber, seeing the sights on Miyajima Island was wonderful and Rino knew excellent places to eat at and knowledgeable about the area too. Highly recommend this tour.
Our guide Rino made our visit to Hiroshima truly memorable. She is the sweetest person, and her joy is contagious. She shared fascinating insights into the city and its history, while bringing warmth and lightness to the day without ever losing respect for the gravity of what happened here. We could not have asked for a better guide. Thank you, Rino!
