SUP through mangrove forest was super fun and Julia was such a good guide! She made sure everyone was comfortable and took so many pictures of everyone. We had a lunch break near Uehara Port where she recommended Okinawan restaurants and then Kengo picked us up for canyoning, which I also loved! Took so many good videos!!! I found out a lot about Iriomote island and had so much fun, would definitely like to come back and do the tours again :))

Fantastic trip , sry knowledgeable and helpful guide Shogo
I joined the mangrove canoe tour as a solo traveler, and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Ryoma, was very friendly and welcoming. Along the way, he introduced us to the local culture and way of life, and while canoeing, he patiently explained many interesting things about the mangroves and the surrounding nature. I learned a lot and really enjoyed the experience. I was the only foreigner in the group, but Ryoma made sure I was well taken care of throughout the entire tour, which I really appreciated. Thank you so much, Ryoma, for such a memorable experience!
Dreams come true!! お世話になりました。 どうもありがとうございました。 またPipiにツアーしたいです。
This is my first time to travel Iriomote. But we have great time in tour without inconvenience . I love you Ike-chan & Sato-san.
The 1 day tour SUP & Canyoning with Ryoma was amazing! On top of having a lot of fun, he gave a lot of explanations in English about the local wildlife and mangrove.
The guide was super friendly the canyoning part was my favourite. Was definitely a highlight of our trip
Morning Canyoning with Kengo We kicked off the morning with an adrenaline rush! Kengo was our guide for the canyoning portion, and he was fantastic. His energy is infectious, and he did a great job of making sure everyone felt safe while still pushing us to have the most fun possible. Jumping into the crystal-clear pools and navigating the falls was the perfect way to wake up. Kengo’s enthusiasm really made the morning special. Afternoon Mangrove Canoe with Jun After a high-energy morning, the afternoon canoe trip through the mangroves was a wonderful change of pace. Jun was our guide for this session, and he was incredibly knowledgeable. He taught us so much about the unique environment of Iriomote and helped us spot local wildlife tucked away in the trees. Jun has a very calm, patient teaching style that made paddling through the mangroves feel peaceful and rewarding.
I did the full day tour consisting of Mangrove SUP in the morning and Splash Canyoning in the afternoon. I joined the tour as a solo traveller but there were other tourists in the group as well. Our guide was Kengo. He’s very knowledgeable and passionate about the island. I didn’t have much experience with SUP and it was only my second day with SUP but luckily the mangrove waters were calm and Kengo also provided very practical and useful tips to paddle the SUP. After the morning tour, Kengo dropped me off at Uehara Port and brought the rest of the tourists to the office since I was the only one from the morning tour who would continue with the canyoning tour in the afternoon. Before dropping me off at the port, Kengo was really thoughtful, and drove all of us around near Port Uehara, suggesting various restaurants in the area that I can have for lunch. I ended up having Yaeyama soba at Tamago which was just a few minutes walk from Uehara Port. After lunch, Kengo picked me up at Uehara Port and there were other tourists who I didn’t meet before, who also joined the second half of the tour. There was a family with three children and another solo traveller like myself. I think we all had a great time, especially the kids, and that is all thanks to Kengo’s upbeat and encouraging attitude. Before each jump, Kengo will properly demonstrate how to to safely jump. I slipped one time on my own but thanks to Kengo’s instruction as well as Richard’s explanation (fellow solo traveller), I was able to complete all of the jumps in the canyoning tour. I had a blast and it was an exhilarating experience for me. Jumping in the waters sort of makes you feel like a kid again. Kengo took many great photos and videos that I can look back at with fond memories. Thanks also to Richard for providing a bonus video from a different angle of my jump. Kengo is a fantastic guide and leader and everyone else on the tour were also great. You can do SUP tours on other islands in Okinawa as well but I felt that the canyoning tour in Iriomote was unique.
Fantastic day! Nicely organized day and Shogo was a wonderful guide who explained everything in english. Thank you for a wonderful trip.
If I had to sum it up in one word, it was amazing! I had a truly valuable experience being able to feel the unique nature of Iriomote Island firsthand. During the mangrove canoe tour, we were guided not only through open areas but also through dense, narrow courses, which made it even more special. In the canyoning tour, there were moments where we jumped into the river, but we were never rushed and could enjoy everything at our own pace, feeling safe and comfortable throughout. The guides were incredibly kind and attentive, making it easy for anyone to feel at ease. They also shared a lot of interesting information about Iriomote Island. After the tour, they even gave us recommendations for lunch spots and cafes, so the after-service was excellent as well. If I visit Iriomote Island again, I would definitely use their services again!
Such an amazing experience!!! Would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to have an adventure into Iriomote's beautiful natural wilderness. Our guid Kono knew so much about the environment and made sure all of the activities were safe and fun. Definitely a must. Great for beginners trying out canyoning and kayaking/SUP for the first time but also equally as great for those already well experienced.
Shoma was an amazing guide, help everyone, explained about the surroundings, looked excited for his job and encourage everyone so there was a greate vibe with the whole group. Definitely would recommend him and the tour!
We had an amazing time! Everything was well organized and taken care of. The canyoning tour was a perfect way to cool off in the summer heat. We especially loved the canoe trip through the mangroves, thanks to our fantastic guide, Kono! We highly recommend this activity to everyone.
After two days of snorkelling in Ishigaki, i decided to try canyoning and mangrove canoeing in Iriomote and was happy to see a different side to Okinawa, with Tossy, Photo and Sato being wonderful guides, ensuring our safety while having a good time! 🌞🥰
I was all by myself during the tour. The guides were awesome, and we had a really fun time with lots of laughing. The canoeing was really pretty just like the canyoning, the canyoning was also very exciting with lots of jumps! Even though it was December it wasnt actually cold which was a nice surprise!
This tour was so much fun! Canyoning allowed me to get in touch with the exotic nature of Iriomote. We were a small group and our guide (Bandy) created a fun and safe atmosphere right from the start. During SUP, we got to float through the mangrove forest, which felt very immersive.
We did a Canoe tour in the Mangrove and then the Canyoning in the jungle. Overall it was a good experience, weather was really not good but the activities were compatible with this kind of weather so it was manageable. Material and tools are of good quality. We really enjoyed our time with the Canyoning group as the guide and the people we were with were cultivating a great atmosphere. We had a lot of fun. However we enjoyed less the canoeing in the morning because we were the only non Japanese speaking and felt a bit left out. The guide was doing its best to give us some information, but language barrier is not ideal when you want to learn a lot about the mangrove and ask complex questions. The waiting time between both activities (1h30) wasn’t nice because we were dropped off at the Uehara port and had to go find a spot for food. Next time I’d prefer the company to offer lunch boxes, it’d be a better experience. Thank you PiPi adventures !
AMAZING!! Such a good use of time and the best way to experience Iriomote’s natural beauty. The tour guide was so kind, I highly recommend.
Fun day canyoning and canoeing through the famous Iromote mangroves. Ayuka was very friendly and organised and took great photos throughout. Great day trip from Ishigaki.
Amazing nature with a very nice and friendly guide who will takes care of your whole trip in a small group. Incredible amount of fishes and sea creatures gives incredible experience
Great guide and fun adventure beautiful scenery really worth the day Adventure PIpI was very professional and good English speakers
We ended up only doing the Mangrove Forest portion in the Afternoon. Ferries to Uehara were cancelled due to wind, so we had to ferry to Ohara (south side of Island) and take a bus to Uehara. This meant we were too late to join the morning trip. When we called to explain they let us select which one we wanted in the afternoon, and we chose the Canoe Tour. We made the right choice choosing the Mangrove Forest tour! We split up into two groups of 2 and 3 people. Ayuka-san was our guide and brought us through the Mangrove Forest while giving great information about the Forest and Wildlife in the area. There was also some trekking that led to some great photo opportunities. A great way to experience the unique nature of Ishigaki!
This tour was really fun! It was our first time canyoning but Shu made us feel confident and safe. Shu also tried his best to supplement the Japanese tour with English whenever he could, or demonstrated when he could not explain. Shu also would answer questions about anything we had and seemed really passionate about his responses! The area itself was beautiful. Kayaking you will see plenty of crabs and fish, and it was peaceful. Canyoning was really exciting! And we didn’t see anyone besides our own tour group the whole time. Some small negative points… -We were both vegan and did not know in advance there would be a 90 minute lunch break in town (on your own, at your own expense) so we wish we had known in advance that we needed to bring food and would have that long break. Be prepared if this is also you. -The tour ending also was not well timed for the ferry - we had to wait 90 minutes at the port. But luckily it was timed at least before the last ferry… -if you are coming from Ishigaki check the ferry price. We were unpleasantly surprised at the high cost on top of the tour cost (nothing bad about PiPi just something to keep in mind)
Yuri was our guide and she was fun and energetic, yet also professional. She provided lots of interesting facts throughout the tour about Iriomote Island. She primarily speaks Japanese but also speaks English well due to living in Canada for 5 years. She also took great photos! Canyoning in the River was one of the highlights of my entire trip as there were lots of different events. Would highly recommend! ゆりさんをはじめ、みなさん優しく面白く、とても楽しいツアーでした!ぜひまた次回よろしくお願いします。
Exploring mangrove forest on paddleboard is a great calming experience allowing you to relax surrounded by beautiful scenery. For the second half you'll get high heart rate from some high jumps during the canyoning. Go for backflip jump for maximum adrenaline. Great English speaking guide made the whole day greatly enjoyable. And you get the photos taken as well. Greatly recommended.
I learned many things about Iriomote Island!! I was able to enjoy the tour content for a whole day ☺︎︎︎︎ Thanks to the canoe, I think I'm going to have sore muscles tomorrow. Laugh
It was my first time in a mangrove canoe, but the guide, Yume-san, taught me kindly. Please also tell me some lunch recommendations. I was able to participate in the tour with peace of mind. Mysterious mangrove You should experience it at least once in your life! Thank you very much!
We really enjoyed the morning mangrove tour with my wife on the tandem. It was a precious experience to pass through the narrow parts of the mangroves as the water depth changed with the tides. There are various restaurants near the port for lunch, and you can enjoy those too. Canyoning in the afternoon. This was also a first-time experience, and I got excited jumping and sliding from high places. Originally The snorkeling trip to Baras Island was canceled due to the weather. I want to get revenge next time. The guide in charge on the day will carefully explain procedures such as roll call and the pledge form at the meeting place. Kenken, the guide in charge, was responsible for both canoeing and canyoning, and it was fun because he was very attentive to the participants. We were in our 50s and were worried about our physical stamina, but we didn't get that tired. I think even elderly people can participate with peace of mind.
Thank you for letting me know about the changes due to the weather in advance; it was convenient, and I appreciate the guide being kind and leading us safely.
Guide Shogo was cheerful and guided us in a fun way with humor. It was wonderful because you took care of the children while leading the tour! If I have the chance, I would like to participate in another tour next time.
I signed up for this tour for a day in Ishigaki Island. I enjoyed the canyoning and mangrove canoe tour. Canyoning is exciting with natural waterslides and cliff jumps in the great outdoors! The 9 and 12-year-old kids were also jumping in first, lol. Above all, it was the best that Ikecchan the guide loves animals and showed us various creatures! Since you recommended the night tour, I'd like to try that next. Mangrove canoe tours: Adventure in the tidal flat mangrove belt! I learned something new from guide Rena again. It was a string of "heh." I was worried the kids wouldn't be able to ride the canoe well, but they were paddling faster than the two adults, lol. It was a very fun tour. I recommend it!
It was rainy before and after the tour, but it was super sunny only during the tour! I was able to experience things that you absolutely cannot experience in the city. I could enjoy it with all five senses. Thank you for taking so many photos and videos. It was incredibly scary to jump. Flying felt incredibly good, and climbing the hole that was naturally formed using my head was super fun! It was my first time experiencing it in life, and it was truly the best!
Title: Thanks to Ami, I was able to fully enjoy the nature of Iriomote Island! The time spent moving through the mangroves and the time spent moving my body to the fullest during canyoning were both fun, making it a day that flew by. What was particularly memorable was the guidance from the guide, Ami-san. You treated me brightly and politely, and I was able to enjoy the nature of Iriomote Island while feeling it more closely. It was a good memory of the trip, and I could participate with peace of mind for the first time. Ami-san, thank you!
I had a very fulfilling day! The guides were also friendly, and we could enjoy ourselves in a cheerful atmosphere ♪
The explanations and lectures about the unique flora and fauna of Iriomote Island were thorough, easy to understand, and made the tour fun.
With Ami-chan's wonderful smile guide, we were safe and could all join together and have a blast! I want to go back to Iriomote Island again.
Thank you very much! It was so much fun!
It was very good. The waterfall jump (diving) was thrilling and fun. Please, go check it out. It was a nature-rich place, and Sato-san showed me a lizard. Where you can interact with living things in a nature-rich environment is It was the best!!
I had Ike-chan from Iriomote Island Adventure PiPi guide me on canyoning and canoeing. It was my first canyoning experience, but the whole family had a fun time. The children were a little scared of jumping off the cliff, but... In the canoe, it was a satisfying day of planting mangroves and playing with crabs that moved ahead. I shouldn't forget that the restaurant Ike-chan introduced was also delicious (this time we had taco rice and Hateruma Island brown sugar and matcha tapioca at "Nishioh no Shonen").
It was an extraordinary and valuable experience. It's a great deal to have two experiences together.
The mangrove canoe had a great view and pleasant breeze, and I was able to paddle very comfortably. On canyoning, I'm very happy to see a child's lively smile and engrossed in it like you don't usually see. It was a very exciting day for both parents and children. Thank you very much.
It was a one-man event, but I really enjoyed it because the staff were kinder and kinder. They also took lots of photos and videos, which gave me lots of memories of the trip! Thank you very much.
I was still inexperienced in canoeing and physically anxious. The guide was younger and said, 'If I get tired, I'll follow you up,' so I could participate with peace of mind.
We dived a lot and the whole family had fun! It was great.
It was a great weather and we had a good guide♪ I want to go again
Mangrove fun. I'm happy to see Sakana. What you can see is crabs and jumps. I planted seeds of trees (mangroves). by a 6-year-old child
It was my first time canoeing and I was worried, but I didn't have to worry. The guide will teach you attentively and take good care of you. Thank you, Hotaru-san, our guide, for teaching us everything from creatures in Iriomote to information about shops besides canoeing! It was a lot of fun.
The diving experience was really interesting!! I also enjoy climbing and would love to do it again!
The meeting was smooth and fun, and the day was quick.
