Meet your guide at Hiroshima Station. Then take 30 minute train to Miyajimaguchi Station. You can use JR Pass or Suica Card (if you have any). The transportation cost is not included.
After meeting the guide at Hiroshima Station, the guide will accompany you on a 30 minutes train from Hiroshima Station to Miyajimaguchi and then a short ferry ride to Miyajima Island

We had a wonderful experience on the tour we did of Miyajima island with Cva. He is extremely knowledgeable and taught us so much about the history of the island and the many things we saw there. He is friendly and has a great sense of humor and we thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

Shu was the absolute best guide! She had so much knowledge of the island and was very patient when explaining what everything was. She gave us great insight into the cultural significance of all the parts of the island.
Shu took us around the island through the shrine and going to see the temples, had a wonderful time and gained plenty of knowledge about everything. Received food recommendations and didn’t feel rushed at all throughout. Even received other recommendations for our time in Hiroshima.

Engaging from beginning to end. Easily located Cva at the station. Our group of 8 Australians joined three others. Train and then ferry navigated easily, with some island info given along the way. We heard some island history, religious history and learned various customs along the way. A thoughtfully put together tour ( with strategic rest and toilet breaks) After just over 4 hours we then had time to eat and explore the island ourselves. Cva gave us just the right amount of information and happily answered questions.

Cva was our exceptional guide on our tour today. It is Silver week (a collection of public holidays in September) in Japan and so very busy. The instructions to meet Cva were excellent. Travel to Miyajima was much easier with him as our guide. We easily picked up transport tickets for the express train and ferry. Travel with two small kids (5yo, 7yo) went very well. We were a small family group with one other couple from Chile that was on the tour. The pace was great and we saw so much given the island was teeming with people due to the holiday. We were very glad to have met Cva for this tour as he was incredibly knowledgeable. Our kids loved his company as well and by the end my daughter was holding his hand happily down the stairs from one of the temples. Overall a very successful day! Lots of perfect stops to hit the toilet and snack with food we had on hand. Cva found quiet places even on such a busy day and it was easy to hear and follow him. He also knew what huge queues to skip and yet we saw so much of the island. The tour went for about 4 hours and was just the right length. Thank you so much, Cva! Such a fascinating island and a wonderful way to learn more about Japan! I highly recommend it. I don’t think we would have seen a quarter as much of Miyajima had we done it ourselves.

Shu was the best tour guide! A wonderful walk through shrine island. I learned about the two main religions in Japan learning a difference of shrines and temples as well as the reason. It was wonderful to try oysters and lemonade in the area.

Unser Guide Cva hat die Tour mit seinen fundierten Erklärungen zu einem Erlebnis gemacht. Miyajima, die verschiedenen Tempel und natürlich auch die Hirsche lohnen den Ausflug an sich schon. Dank der tollen Erläuterungen in ausgezeichneten Englisch und dem vielen Hintergrundwissen eröffnet sich aber ein noch weiteres Blickfeld. Absolut lohnenswert.
