Hiroshima Peace (Heiwa) Walking Tour At World Heritage Sites

We enjoyed a lot spending halfday with this tour. It was very much worthy of our time and what we've paid for. We learned a lot about Hiroshima's past and the amazing fast recovery and reconstruction. Our complement goes to Ms. Kaori who is a professional, kind, and patient enough for my photography. The lunch is a descent meal which satisfied our hunger after a few hours of walking. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for a private tour.

This was a very comprehensive and informative tour that took us to several sites that I would have never known existed. Our guide Yasue was amazing letting us set the pace to ensure our needs were met. She shared many stories that helped us understand what happened in Hiroshima in 1945 up until current times. Our lunch on the top of Orizuru Tower was delicious and we were able to sit out on the deck and enjoy the beautiful views of Hiroshima. She took many photos of us during the tour and shared them via email afterwards. This was the best spent 5 hours in Hiroshima!

Hika made our family’s Hiroshima day incredibly special and memorable. He was warm, friendly and deeply knowledgeable, but what made the experience particularly meaningful was the way he shared his own and his family’s personal connection to the events of Hiroshima and the impact that still lingers today. He paced the day perfectly, taking extra time where we wanted to reflect and moving things along when needed. He always made us feel comfortable asking questions. This was far more than a sightseeing tour. It was an important and moving experience that created lasting memories for our whole family. We came away with a much deeper understanding of Hiroshima, its history and its people. A very sincere thank you to Hika. This is an experience we would highly recommend, and one we believe everyone should have the opportunity to undertake.

The walking tour was great, our guide knew the items of interest, places that weren't necessarily on the tour were known about, discussed and extra time was allowed for deviation from the "Tour list".

A walking tour was perfect way to see the rebuilt city and the museums and memorials of August 6. Angela was very warm, friendly and knowledgeable about all the city has to offer.

This was a wonderful tour. Saki provided us with a fantastic story line of events that occurred in August 1945. We would never have learned this or visited these sites in our own. The museum and park experience was quite the emotional experience. The lunch was delicious. I highly recommend this tour when you are in Hiroshima.

Amazing Hiroshima Piece walking tour. I learned so much about what happened to Hiroshima during and after the atomic bomb explosion. You get to visit the Hiroshima Peace memorial museum, a must go to to fully understand the consequences of what happened during World War II (photos of victims, testimonies, videos). To guide you throughout the visit, the tour guide was fantastic. She really took the time to explain some bits of history while visiting some key spots, always smiling, helpful, waiting for guests whenever they wanted to take pictures.

Really enjoyed the tour. Etsko was excellent, looked after us. We visited several places including the museum. Lunch was good. I tend to be apprehensive about walking tours but this was good.

Our guide was awesome! I am really late to write a review but she earned it! Her name is Rio, supper nice lady, tried to help us with our travel even though it wasn’t in her job description! She made us feel awesome and nice with the whole experience!

The museum was certainly not for the faint-hearted, but the peaceful park and our visit to Orizuru Tower helped lift our spirits again. Hiroshima Peace (Heiwa) Walking Tour was excellent and worth doing. Our guide was genuine, friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. Through his insights & local knowledge, we appreciated Hiroshima history so much more. We visited historically significant sites on our guided walk to Hiroshima Peace Museum with Kaz sharing local knowledge, experiences and history the entire time. Very sad thought provoking experience. We gained a different perspective and appreciation of the resilience of the people. Lunch at Orizuru Tower was an added bonus with views, origami & a yummy bento box. Could not recommend our guide Kaz (Kazumato) and the walking tour highly enough. A day we all enjoyed and will always remember. PEACE

Etsko was very friendly and welcoming. She had brilliant English and it was very easy to follow her helpful explanation of Hiroshima. Although the tragedy is difficult to hear about, Etsko keeps the tour as positive as possible. A very knowledgeable guide. Making the paper cranes was a fun addition and it was nice to eat lunch with our group and get to know eachother. This was a highlight in our trip and would recommend. Etsko provided an exceptional guided walking tour. It balances the dark history of the bomb with an uplifting message. It highlighted the remarkable resilience and recovery of Hiroshima.

Took a day tour with Etsko about the history of Hiroshima. It was a powerful experience to learn about the horrific history of one place. Etsko gave our family a lot of information and we feel we know more about Hiroshima after today! She took us to a great rooftop for lunch; it was a unique experience to eat okonomiyaki while enjoying the views of the city. Afterwards we got to make paper cranes - another unique touch and a perfect way to end the day! Would definitely recommend this tour!
