Hiroshima In A Nutshell: Morning Bike Adventure

We booked this tour somewhat last minute and were so glad we did! Awais was a friendly guide and he shared a lot of great information with us. We had taken a tour of the museum the day before, but he took us to all of the other spots that we had missed. Places we didn't even notice the day before - we really appreciated that. He answered any questions we had and we felt safe riding in the streets at all times. The bikes were nice and easy to use. Thank you for the wonderful experience Awais!

Easy bike ride around Hiroshima to see the sites. Our guide, James, was very informative about the history of the area. He was a wonderful tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot from him.

Our tour guide Awais did a really good job. He had all informations and could answer all question. The bikes were not so good. Wheel bearings broken, brakes not working properly. So the price seems to be too high for what you get. I would prefer a walking tour with Awais instead.

This was a great tour! The bikes were amazing (not like other tours where you get crappy bikes!). Awais our tour guide was great! so knowledgeable and cared about what he was telling us. And was able to answer all questions we asked. Highly recommend! Worth it. Learned so much.

I joined the morning tour guided by Miyu (みゆ). She made the tour very interesting with her personal family stories and local knowledge of the history. I had a good time biking around Hiroshima and learning about the history.

We enjoyed our half-day cycling tour very much. Tour guide Melissa provides a great mix of information, background stories and fun elements and with her Japanese/US family background even has a lot of personal exposure to the topics. Melissa well adapted to our interests and needs - Thank you so much for guiding us today! Last but not least, the meeting Point was easy to find. We got up-to-date and well maintained light gravel bikes, which made it really easy to cycle around the city. Additionally, two bottles of water each is more than in enough for the tour.

Awais was a wonderful guide - showing us around Hiroshima and teaching us about the city’s history. He was so easy to talk with and answered all our many questions. Great day biking around the city!

We had a great time with our guide Awais. He was a great communicator and patient with our riding. Explained every site in detail. The weather wasn’t great but that didn’t stop us having a great time. A great experience to do with my daughter.

Our guide was Aimee-linh, she was wonderful, accommodating and knowledgeable We travelled with a group of 6 with two teenagers Aimee-linh was fun, she made the day very enjoyable, we had a great time Aimee-linh led us on a 4 hour tour around the city, cycling was a breeze for all. Aimee-linh created a day of memories for us I highly recommend Aimee-linh to everyone. If your looking tor a great fun day, dont hesitate, just do it...its an easy fun way to see the city and ask for Aimee-linh Seek out Aimee-linh she was fantastic...

My husband and I did this bike tour on 9/12 and it was excellent because we had the most wonderful tour guide. Awais was so informative, pleasant, and so enjoyable! He knew his material so well and answered any questions we had for him. We can’t say enough how much we enjoyed this tour with him. Thank you Awais!

We really enjoyed this tour and felt like we were able to see all of the main attractions and highlights of Hiroshima. Our guide, Awais, was very knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information throughout the tour. Overall, it was a wonderful way to explore the city, and we would definitely recommend the tour. Our only real complaint was the pace of the tour. At times, we felt like we were being rushed through some of the stops, and toward the end, our guide seemed ready for the tour to be over. The biggest issue was the biking pace. Our guide was on an e-bike while the rest of the group was on regular bikes, and from the very beginning, he would speed ahead and leave the group behind. We mentioned to him that he was going too fast, but unfortunately, it continued throughout the tour. At one point, the group became completely separated from the guide, and we weren’t sure which turn he had taken. Everyone had to stop while a couple of people went looking for him, which was understandably frustrating and took away from the experience. Despite that, we had a great time and really enjoyed seeing Hiroshima by bike. We would absolutely recommend the tour, but we do think it would be much better if the guide used a regular bike when the rest of the group is on regular bikes, or simply adjusted the pace to stay together. A tour is much more enjoyable when the entire group can comfortably ride together!

Aimée is the absolute best guide ever, she adapted the whole tour to our interests and told lots of interesting facts and stories.

Very nice trip on bike with our English speaking guide Awais who was very knowledgeable about Hiroshima and its history. Riding a bike through Hiroshima is fun and in the hot August days much cooler than walking!

Did the Cycle Hiroshima bike tour and it was a highlight of my time in Japan. Our guide James was an absolute stud of knowledge, and our group soaked it up like sponges. If you like bike tours, look no further. This is the one to book. Easy to recommend. Thanks for a great morning.

Aimee was great!! She got us situated on our bikes and got us safely from place to place. She was well informed on the sites we saw. She even provided great advice on shopping after the tour. Aimee is very personable and has a great sense of humor.

This was a bike tour which enabled us to see quite a lot of the sites within Hiroshima more efficiently than if we had to walk. The cycling was at a modest pace and there was not a high degree of difficulty. (it should be noted, we were not on e-bikes). Many of the sites we saw were very sobering. Our tour included a stop at an incredible "french" style bakery which hit the spot for us7 as Westerners craving some familiar baked goods. Our guide Aimee-Linh was terrific, energetic and knowledgeable.

Awais was an amazing Tour guide! He showt us all the important places, and even some we would have never found on our own. He knows so much! And could answer all our questions. Besides that, he also is just a really Nice Guy! The tour was 3 hours but he spent an other hour with us to came with us to the museum to guide us there too. And he took us to a really Nice local food place. Amazing food. Awais gave us the best tour we had in Japan so far.

The bikes are great, very light and comfortable. Our guide was MeYu. She was a gorgeous soul, absolutely wonderful stories that related to her family as she is Hiroshima born and has 3 generations of family living here. We loved our day

We had a wonderful time with Sage on our bike tour. Was a wonderful way to see the city and our guide Sage was incredibly knowledgeable. Was very easy going which was nice for us given the rest of our trip was pretty full on. Bikes were of good quality and our guide made sure we were okay at all times when riding. Thoroughly would recommend especially if not in Hiroshima for long.

We had a day trip to Hiroshima from Kyoto where our base was set. We wanted to see everything in a different way; hence booked this tour. It was definitely worth it and I would definitely recommend it. Furthermore, we enjoyed it a lot in a way that moving forward we are thinking of booking more bike tours more often. Our guide was Amee-linh. First, I always appreciate the message in WhatsApp on a day before from the guide. It gives me a sense of confirmation as well as way of direct communication, just in case. Second, Amee was friendly, full of energy, and with good sense of humor. She was knowledgeable with good time management. She gave us enough time and explanation in every stop and patiently spent time with us to take photos. The bakery in the middle of tour was surely a highlight; who can say no to fresh bakery, eh?!? Indeed it was such a pleasant combination that she was a photographer too as she took very nice photos of us too !!! Thank you Amee for making a memorable day for us in Hiroshima!!!

We had a wonderful tour led by Awais. He shared his thoughts and depth of historical information really well. Not only was it informative but he also was great about stopping for photo ops and bathroom visits. We went to various memorial sites regarding the war and the devastation of the atomic bomb, but he also took us to beautiful gardens. Hiroshima is a beautiful city and this tour added to our appreciation of Japan. Thank you Awais

Very informative bike tour with many historic stops. Miyu was a great guide and is passionate about sharing the history of these historic areas.

The tour guide was a young foreign student who was doing this on the side for some extra money. She wasn't enthusiastic and showcased knowledge that we could have easily googled. We did not appreciate this tour company not having local guides.

It was not obvious that the cost was in USD. We enjoyed the local flavour that our guide introduced

We would highly recommend this tour. The ride is quite gentle being mostly flat with regular stops and such a great way to see the city if short on time. Mel was a great guide, she was informative & very friendly.
