There are two hotel granvia’s , this one is in the north side of the train station. The rooms were a little dated, but the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was excellent and you really couldn’t ask for a better location. You are right in the heart of the train station, where all the tours companies have their meeting point. They also provided pajamas and amenities in the room, which was nice. It was very Affordable and the breakfast that they provide I would highly recommend. I would come again, although I might stay on the southside because it looked like the rooms were a little more updated.

I might be bias by staying on the 5th floor but the service, food, rooms were all amazing. We loved this spacious hotel with its grand main lobby, accommodating staff, and profits to the trains, buses, and street cars made Hiroshima in a day possible. We saw everything including the island in a single day just because we stayed here. Food could have been slightly better, but I’m just not picking at this point.
Location is perfect for the train and busses. It has a lovely lounge lobby area. There are a number of restaurants within the hotel offering almost every dish. Also a set of good bars to relax in. We had a double room that was better than expected. A great shower and a bathroom to move around in. We arrived before check-in so the hotel stores your bags and when we got back after a day around the city and did the check-in, our bags had been delivered to our room already. All the staff are very welcoming and just made our stay enjoyable.
If you are looking to take day trips from Hiroshima via train then you will be hard pressed to find a better hotel. I travelled here with my husband and brother, and we found the room to be clean and large enough for our needs. If you have travelled in Europe or Japan before then you know the rooms are not very big, but I didn’t see that as a problem since we spent very little time there. We booked a monitor stay, so we had free access to the lounge in exchange for feedback on the experience. All in all, it was nice to have. The breakfast was a buffet with both Japanese and Western dish options, and a small menu you could order off of for free. I thoroughly enjoyed the scrambled eggs and chocolate danishes each morning. We never had the afternoon tea/snack in the lounge, but we did have the two evening options. I didn’t find either of them to be as good as the breakfast, but there were free glass bottle cokes, which made the lounge access worth it to us after two extremely long days of sightseeing. If you prefer alcohol, there seemed to be a lot of options. The staff in the lounge were excellent! The highlights: Sleepwear- provided in the room. It is more of a nightgown/oversized shirt though, so if that does not interest you make sure to bring your own. Pokemon Center- there is a nice Pokemon Center literally a few steps from the hotel entrance. Not very large, but there was some regional merchandise left (not something I can say for most of the Pokemon Centers we visited.) Yamato baggage transport- you can transport luggage via Yamato at this hotel. The staff were very polite and efficient during the process. They were also the only location we used Yamato at that allowed us to pay with a credit card. Everywhere else required cash. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were kind and patient with us and the location was perfect for our needs. If you plan on spending a lot of time at the Peace Park or the surrounding museums and sites it is a bit of a walk from the hotel, but from our experience it’s totally doable. I will definitely consider staying at this hotel chain again if I get the opportunity to come back to Japan.
It situated just a stone throw from the Hiroshima airport limousine bus terminal and right on top of the JR station. Its just perfect for my trip. Room size is good for 2 but a bit clamped for us 3. I truly appreciated the comfy chairs which is essential after a long day of walking. We stayed at 17th floor and we couldn't hear much noise from the trains at night. The bed is on the firm side but still quite comfortable. They provided a standard pillow and an ergonomic one, they both pretty nice but I wish they can be wider and thicker. The bathroom was bright, roomy and full of amenity. Shower was very good, it can be ajust to your preference on power and temperature. After all, it was a very pleasant stay.
