Our experience at Port Del Mar Guest House in Hermanus was absolutely amazing! We were assisted at the very last minute, and the owner, Martin , and the manager went above and beyond to accommodate us with genuine warmth and professionalism. Their politeness, attention to detail, and willingness to help made us feel truly valued as guests. The rooms are modern, spotless, and beautifully designed, offering plenty of space and a touch of luxury that made our stay incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was excellent — fresh, delicious, and served with the same care that defines everything about this guest house. It’s rare to find such a perfect combination of hospitality, cleanliness, and personal service, and Port Del Mar delivers it effortlessly. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Hermanus — we’ll definitely be returning!

What was initially meant to be a one night stay became 4 nights at this beautiful Guesthouse. I have stayed in many others in Hermanus over the years and can honestly say that Port Del Mar tops the list by far. The staff are friendly and helpful. This Owner run Guesthouse is an absolute gem. I will be coming back every time i am in Hermanus for a few days.
