Can I give 10/5! It’s a fentabulous place Hermanus.The hotel location is awful and its treatment is also good. Rooms were too big and royal in decor. Its boutique hotel having roman architecture and European theme based rooms and bathroom was too big. My room was like .. Kamra .. kamre ke age balcony..balcony ke age Samander😃 I must recommend to visit Hermanus for whale watching and Misty waves.
Absolutely stunning hotel, one of the best. Very friendly helpful staff. Very clean. Breakfast was yum. Watching the springboks in the hotel's cinema was a highlight for us😁 Walked to the restaurants & market in the centre (1km). Also walked to Ficks restaurant for lunch (2 minutes), which is across the road from the hotel. We will definitely return😁
Absolutely stunning hotel, right opposite the ocean and cliff walk. Restaurant on site, friendly accommodating staff, in house cinema, pool and hot tub making it a lovely family friendly hotel. This is my 3rd time staying here and I can't wait to come back.
From arrival time we had 5 star treatment. The Reception area stunning decor..I could sit there the whole day reading a book. The whole experience is relaxing. The rooms are beautiful and spacious..the bathroom has everything you need..you don't need to take shower gelll with you. 😅. The greenery..the garden..beautiful. The breakfast versatile if you a vegan or on an eating plan. They have a special juice eg. pineapple & ginger..The view from the rooms are perfect. Just loved everything 🙏❤️

The lobby feels like stepping into a grand old manor — ornate, characterful, and genuinely impressive for a town this size. It's earned its four-star TGCSA rating, and for the most part, it delivers on that promise. The property has grown over the years, adding new floors, a penthouse level, and a private cinema, which shows that the owners are investing in the place rather than coasting on reputation. There's a warmth here that you don't always find in larger hotels — it genuinely feels like it's run by people who care LOCATION:Sitting at 21 Marine Drive, the hotel is roughly a 4–5 minute stroll from the heart of Hermanus village, the craft markets, the Old Harbour Museum, and the Whale House Museum. The iconic Cliff Path — arguably one of the best land-based whale watching spots in the world — is right on your doorstep. DINE + DRINK: The Heritage Restaurant, positioned in the hotel garden beside the pool, is a pleasant spot — especially in the evenings when the garden is lit up and the atmosphere leans romantic. ROOM: We stayed in Room 205, so this review is based on that. The room was genuinely impressive — spacious, well-decorated, and in many cases enormous by boutique hotel standards. The ornate furnishings give the place its character: four-poster beds in some suites, spa baths, private balconies overlooking Walker Bay, and that particular kind of indulgence that makes you feel like you've genuinely treated yourself.; VIEW: lovely view of the sea from the cute balcony attached to the room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM:Huge bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: good quality toiletries FACILITIES: No Gym on site. But they do have a cute & compact HEATED outdoor pool that is usable all day long SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to DANIELLE for enhancing our stay and a very warm welcome! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good!
