This is a truly wonderful place! I took my parents for a weekend and was blown away by the venue and the hospitality we received.
With stunning views of ocean and mountain and situated right on the beachfront you cannot ask for more. We enjoyed whale watching on the extra deck built to enable spectacular 360 degree viewing and indulged on the bar located just inside.
The property was heated wonderfully throughout, especially considering the freezing temperatures at the time.
The variety at breakfast was great and the fresh fruits were a true highlight.
To all the staff, thank you for your kindness and hospitality. You treated us like royalty.
I hope to enjoy a return visit soon!
The guest house is slightly out of town but close to Grotto beach, a couple of bars and the cliff walk.
I would highly recommend Lavender Manor, great ocean views, the staff are great and breakfast sets you up nicely for the day.
Lovely 1 night stay early September. Large comfortable room with views of the sea from the balcony. Nice hot breakfast in the morning as well. 10 minute taxi to hermanus where all the restaurants are. The owners were both lovely. Would highly recommend for a short break. Very close to the beautiful coastal path as well.
We had a great stay here. Except it was far too short! The room and bathroom were perfect. And watching leaping whales from the roof was a real bonus. The area felt quite safe after dark. Would love to return some day for holiday. Thanks.
We had a lovely 2-night stay in Lavender Manor hotel. The room was clean and spacious, everything was very well maintained and with a beautiful taste in terms of design. The owners they were very kind and eager to make you have the best stay possible. Breakfast was also good. The location is great if you have a car. It's close to the beach and about 5 minutes away from the Hermanus center where all the shops and restaurants are located. All in all, a very pleasant stay which I would recommend.
