Auberge Burgundy Guest House

We spent 2 nights and 3 days in this hotel. + : • the staff is incredible ! they are super super nice and helpful • the decor is exquisite and everything is aesthetically pleasing. • the bedding is very comfortable. • excellent location right in front of the beach and all the restaurants • the included breakfast is to die for. They even have vegan options which was incredible ! - : • the pool isn’t heated so we couldn’t use it. • the rooms get really cold in the winter months • when you take your shower, water goes everywhere, wetting the towel and bath mat. • there is no ventilation so the towels and mats take forever to dry.. if they dry Overall it was an excellent stay we were really pleased to start our South African journey here !

What an amazing place. The decor is is really tastefully done. The attention to detail is really next level. From the hot water bottles provided to the ear plugs next to the bed. We had an absolutely stunning stay. Will definitely be back again. Location is right in the middle of the active beach front hub.

Never stayed there but had a walk through. So quaint, authentic French style boutique hotel, only metres from one of the finest cliffhanger beach strips in the world. Management are very welcoming. Menu is limited but great. Central courtyard pool is amazing. Some rooms have open ocean views. Easy scenic walks from the hotel directly.

Perfect location on the beach and walking distance from a large selection of restaurants. Gorgeous decor and linen. We were impressed with the extra attention to detail and guest comfort, the hot water bottles were a delightful surprise.
