Helsinki-vantaa Airport Plaza Premium Lounge

I was here a year ago and the lounge was much nicer. Now they have separated the nicer part for business and first class only where you receive premium drinks and better food. Now they send the priority pass customers to the right hand side offering sub standard food. After living in Vietnam it was clear the chicken was imported from there, the cheapest on the market. The drinks are no longer premium, only wine and beer on offer. Well done Plaza 'not so premium anymore' for lodging your clients!

Praise was brilliant at check in. So helpful. Thank you. My flight was delayed and I booked lounge as walk in. Service at Finnair Lounge was so rude, I am sorry glad I came here instead. It makes such a difference when someone take their job serious and provide such a amazing service at times of stress.

Overlooking the runway, which was cool and clean, unhurried, not busy, and good value at £24 each with the Dragon Pass.

It’s a really nice lounge. Huge issue is that they somehow don’t have a toilet?! I had to walk back into the terminal nearly ten minutes. Wild. Anyway, ask for the manager guy. He said his name is mr Oliver I think? I heard his colleague call him Michael so I’m Not sure. That guy gave me and my family (wife and two young girls) the best service I’ve had anywhere in the world.

We were warmly greeted by Ilona and Sam. We took up window seats whilst Sam made us a lovely cup of coffee. I chose the Vegetarian Laksa and my wife went for a salad concoction that looked quite mouthwatering. A glass of wine accompanied lunch, followed by a tasty cake or two. As the planes arrived and departed we sat back and enjoyed the view and the ambience that pervades a quality lounge experience.

This is a very good lounge. Stunning views. It is very clean, well appointed and the food and drinks great. Topped off by a wonderful host Paolo.

going back home, transit in Helsinki to stop by this Plaza Premium Lounge at the airside of HEL airport. very bright floor to sky windows over look runways while enjoy cup of coffee. need to mention staff are pleasant and helpful, especially Amanda. nice to spend a couple hours here!

The lounge is clean & decent with everything that comforts the travellers. And the receptionist Praise is really nice to offer a “chocolate special” during my stay!

Aside from Chase Sapphire reserve lounge, this is the best lounge we’ve experienced. Praise was so kind and welcoming. Food was great. Relaxing and comfortable environment.

Staff friendly. Main seating area and shower rooms clean. Not overly impressed with small amount of food options. Male & female toilets were a bit of a riot. Over flowing waste paper bins and paper towels all over the floor.

Small lounge compared with others we’ve been. Miia was very professional and kind during the time we were there.

There was a 5-hour transit between my journey to Berlin and a long-haul flight from Hong Kong. Having this fabulous lounge to eat and rest to kill time I am so thankful. To be honest, i haven‘t expected the time would have passed so fast! The lounge locates near Gate 40 and very easy to find, i have the dragon pass to stay for 2 hours and the staff PRAISE is very smiley and thoughtful, she helped me with the membership of Smart Traveller app to get one hour extension, which i would not expect. The place is clean with warm ambience, also at the large window glass you can overlook the Finnair planes parking. Wonderful experience!

The Plaza Premium Lounge is great however considering it is in Finland the coffee machine is not upto Finnish standardi in my opion. Coffee drinking nation knows it's coffee- hot, strong and tasty. R -kioski sells better coffee.

We arrived from London around 10:45 PM and headed straight to Plaza Premium Lounge as it was the only lounge open until midnight. We got there at about 11:00 PM, knowing the kitchen and bar would be closing in just 30 minutes. Despite the late hour and limited time, Chef Allan was absolutely wonderful—pleasant, friendly, and truly welcoming. The available food included rice, noodles, and beef kebabs (similar to beef bulgogi), which was comforting after a long flight. What really stood out, though, was Chef Allan going above and beyond by serving us panna cotta- plain and mango that wasn’t even on buffett. He also kindly offered to get us more beer if we wanted, even with closing time approaching. The draft beer - Karju which he recommended is a loca beer which deserves a separate ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️review !!!! His generosity and warm hospitality made a huge difference and turned a late-night stop into a memorable experience. Chef Allan is a true asset to Lounge Premium and deserves recognition for his outstanding service. #PriorityPass from Chase is a Win!

We were stranded as a family due to a snowstorm. Being warmly welcomed by Praise was a wonderful, almost homey experience. She even made the kids hot choco! Praise turned a frown into a smile for all of us 🫶

Our flight was unfortunately cancelled and had to be rescheduled for 7 hours later…but the flight lounge was a marvellous experience to pass the time. The food is excellent and the facilities are clean and comfortable. Praise was a wonderful help to both of us and worked extremely hard at both the desk and in the lounge’s general maintenance. She ensures we were comfortable the entire time from very early hours.

Early morning experience, at 6 am from suffering a badly slept night to a wonderful dawn to a new day. Thaks to a good breakfast and wonderful Praise who took very good care of us!

This got to be the worst lounge at HEL. The only thing going for this is its stylish interior and view at the runway. Other than that, the lounge is a pretty bad experience. The selection of food is extremely limited. Try finding any protein there. What I find is concerning is that they consider minced meat without spices is appropriate food option. On top of that, the minimal selection lacks ANY spices. No sparkling wine is included although you can buy some if you so wish. They seem to only have approx nine cups and glasses. Those are constantly unavailable. It must be a business tactic to lower the consumption of anything. Safe to say, I will never come to this lounge again. For those of you flying from non-Schengen side, choose the Finnair lounge if possible.

Cute little lounge and a bit of calm before my flight. Great service and some lovely rice and vegetable curry. Just what I needed.

Really pleasant and large lounge. Eating a lot of different foods in small portions. Really good cold and hot dishes. Even tought the space is large, you have to queue for seats and you may get them at the back of the lounge, where it’s a long walk to get food and use the bathroom.

I had a truly enjoyable and memorable experience at the lounge. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. I would especially like to highlight the exceptional service provided by Sam. She was not only extremely helpful but also very kind-hearted and attentive throughout my visit. Her warm attitude and willingness to assist made a real difference and added a personal touch to my overall experience. Thanks to her support, I felt comfortable and well taken care of, which made my time at the lounge even more special. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely committed to providing excellent service. Because of her and the overall positive atmosphere, I would definitely love to visit this lounge again in the future if I get the opportunity.

The plaza premium lounge is at the Helsinki Terminal 2 after exiting the passport control of Schengen Area. During our visit, the lounge is not very busy. It offers simple hot food (vegetable curry, potatoes, rice, and ground beef mince, juice and coffee). There is both toilet and shower room in the lounge.

Cute, clean and efficient! Leevi checked me in so quickly:) This sadly had to be a quick pit stop… wish I could’ve stayed longer the breakfast was tasty. Ambience was nice too as they had a calming music playing and a screen with a video of a fire. Helped me to relax after the chaos of security.

Food selection was too limited. We had pretty tasty chicken with rice and potato. They had also some warm veggie option. In addition they had salad bar. Tortilla chips were eatable. Red and white wine was free. Red wine was almost decent. Beer was also free. All these had to be asked from behind the counter. Service was friendly. Lounge itself is not that big and clients came literally around the world. I would give this lounge 3 stars (5 stars is reserved for proper first class lounge). If you have free access to this lounge (e.g. with your credit card), then it makes perfect sense to visit. Paying > 53.10 euro per head for 2 hours is another story. Some seats have a nice view and most not.

The lounge offers a wide range of amenities. There was a generous buffet with a mix of hot and cold items, including fresh salads, fruit, and snacks. The coffee was high quality, and there were a few alcohol options available for those who wanted a drink before their flight. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which made it easy to catch up on work. There were also plenty of power outlets scattered around for charging devices.

Plaza Premium lounge is amazing place to have some rest and private time while waiting for the flight. Maija was hight lever assistant.

A very nice place to have a cup of coffee or enjoy breakfast before flight. Silent, relaxing music, nice chairs. I liked very much.
