It was a really good overview of the main places in Helsinki and you can always go back for a longer visit at some on your own Suomelina was really interesting - so glad I went to see it. Lukas was a terrific guide! Communicative and knowledgeable. I felt he looked after us so well. The creamy salmon soup was a great lunch suggestion!

Daniella did a great job of showing us Helsinki. She was a fount of knowledge and paced the tour appropriately.
I was really looking forward to the Helsinki and Suomenlinna sightseeing tour, as I only had one day in Helsinki before heading to Tallinn. Unfortunately, the company cancelled the tour the night before because there were not enough participants. This was extremely disappointing and frustrating, especially since I had planned my limited time in Helsinki around this experience. Cancelling at such short notice left me with very little time to find an alternative and disrupted my travel plans. I understand that tours may require a minimum number of participants, but cancelling the night before is still very inconvenient for travellers who have limited time in the city. I would have appreciated better planning or an alternative solution. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I hope the company takes into consideration how last-minute cancellations can affect travellers' itineraries. If you are visiting Helsinki for only a short time, be aware that your tour may be cancelled if there are not enough participants.
We had a few days in Helsinki before a cruise and wanted to see as much as possible. Fortunately, this tour was perfect for that! The tour started on a smallish bus and took us around to some of the major sights around Helsinki. Our guide, Cesar, was very good at bringing it all to life and providing lots of interesting historic details. After a short break for lunch we got on a ferry over to Suomenlinna where we met up with the "sponsored" guide for the island. She took us around to see this interesting island that was once a fort. It was a great afternoon that gave us a thorough overview of Helsinki.
Great time. It was nice and easy to see the sites and fortress. 5 to 6 hours. I went in May. Wear a jacket in case it's windy or rainy.
They will have a super guide if they have Lucas. Will see the highlights on Helsinki with great explanations of sites & history .
Knowledgeable guide, interesting stops and balance of walking and riding made for an enjoyable introduction to Helsinki. The ferry ride and Fortress were highlight of the Tour.
We had two different guides. One for the city in the morning and a different one for the ferry and island tour. Learned a lot And it was a beautiful day
Daniella was an excellent guide and made our experience in Helsinki fantastic! Her knowledge was extensive and her personality made our day so enjoyable! Highly recommend a tour with Daniella!
The Helsinki sightseeing tour started well, but the Suomenlinna part could have been much better. The guide provided very little information and mostly walked quickly from one point to another in silence. Overall, it was decent, but I expected more explanation and engagement during the fortress visit.
If you want to hear and see some of Helsinki's beautiful and historical sites, take this tour. Highlight of this activity is going to Soumennlinna. If you're into old forts and rich, interesting history, then this is for you. Having an extremely knowledgeable, perfectly English speaking, very pleasant guide adds to making it really worth. The ferry ride to and from Soumennlinna is very relaxing even if it's only about 10-15 mins. Good food and nice souvenir items on the port.
The tour was a bit rushed and, unfortunately, the rainy weather made it less enjoyable. Helsinki and Suomenlinna are interesting places, but I felt the tour could have been more engaging and better paced.
Our guide, Daniela, was wonderful. She had so much knowledge which she so generously imparted and answered all questions asked, in great detail. It felt like touring with a friend. The group was small which was great and they were a lot of fun. On the down side, we felt the Helsinki part of the tour was quite brief, being sacrificed for the Suomenlinna tour. The latter was great but for first timers to Helsinki we would have liked more of the city sights than just a few stops and drive-bys. Finally, compared with other tours we've done of similar size participants and duration, this was a very overpriced tour.
The tour was okay, and the guide was good, but overall it felt quite average. There was also too much walking around Suomenlinna. At €300 for two people, I expected a more memorable experience and better value for money. Overall, too expensive for what was offered.
We had a great time. Our guides Daniela and Rachel were full of information and provided a great overview of the history surrounding Finland and Helsinki.
This was a great overview of the city and history of Helsinki. Our tour guides, Daniela and Rachel did an awesome job.
A nice city to visit. We had an informative tour guide who made the experience more pleasant. Lots of places to see
Such a wonderful experience! The entire process was seamless and so well organized. I especially appreciated that the tour operator even arranged an Uber to pick me up and take me to the meeting point—such a thoughtful touch! A big thank you to Lukas for being a fantastic guide and for showing me around Finland and Sumerian. Despite the weather, he kept things fun, engaging, and enjoyable throughout. Highly recommend this tour!

Our guide, Lukas, was extremely knowledgeable and also entertaining throughout the day. We also enjoyed the van driver! We were picked up promptly in a comfortable vehicle, enjoyed many sites, and were enriched with both cultural and historical information. Lukas was very good at timing the activities during the day, and paced the walking well for our group. We highly recommend the tour.
The tour was a nice way to visit Helsinki, and I appreciated that the pickup was on time, which was a positive start. However, I felt that the overall experience was somewhat rushed. The guide was not as prompt and organized as I expected, which made the activity feel a little incomplete. While I enjoyed seeing Helsinki, I think the tour could be improved with better time management and a more attentive, punctual guide. Overall, it was a pleasant visit, but the experience did not feel as complete or well-organized as I had hoped.
Excellent comprehensive tour of Helsinki. Our tour guide. Ed and helper. Diana were fantastic. Highly recommend!!
It was a really good experience overall. Great, knowledgeable guides, and a good itinerary. I highly recommend the tour. Do it on your first day in Helsinki and figure out the rest of your time in the city after that. It gives you a good on sense of the city!
Excellent tour guide and Helsinki experience. Harry knows a lot of history, we like him a lot. We had a gorgeous weather!
The Helsinki and Suomenlinna sightseeing tour was quite disappointing. The experience felt poorly organized, and the tour did not meet my expectations. I was hoping for a more informative, engaging, and enjoyable experience. Overall, I would not recommend this tour.
I was disappointed with this tour of Helsinki and Suomenlinna. Since I was travelling on a cruise, I understood that the schedule would be fairly tight, but the tour still felt far too rushed. There was barely enough time to enjoy the sights, take photos, or properly experience Suomenlinna. Unfortunately, the tour guide also did not seem very caring or engaged. The experience felt more like being hurried from one stop to the next rather than having someone genuinely interested in showing us Helsinki and sharing its history. Overall, I felt the tour could have been much better with a more relaxed pace and a guide who was more attentive and enthusiastic. If you are visiting Helsinki as part of a cruise, I would recommend making sure you have enough time to explore the city and Suomenlinna without feeling rushed.
The time spent on the island wasn’t long enough to see much. The expert guide was very good, but couldn’t answer some of our questions. Also, the guide that we had in Helsinki remained silent for too much of the bus ride. She didn’t seem excited to share anything beyond “there’s a statue and there’s a park”. She pointed out things as we were almost past them. She seemed unsure of herself or nervous.
We wanted to see a bit of Helsinki. This your gave us some of the flavor, Lukas was great, and then took us to Soumenlinna. Which we really wanted to see. Ed joined us for that part and was even more well informed. But the Soumenlinna cobble stones made my hip cranky. 8000 steps and still enjoyed it.
Trip was good..guide was very informative...did a great job
Both nice guys and go pod ambassadors for Finland. Also enjoyed the bus drivers candid comments.
We had a lovely time and your guides us exceptionally good
Our guide Lukas was great, I highly recommend him. He explained the local history and shared some wonderful places to eat Finnish food nearby.
Amazing and so informative!!
Excellent your. Guide Edward was fantastic. He shared a lot of history in a very interesting manner. He was personable and knowledgeable. The pace of the tour was perfect. Highly recommend this tour and Edward.
Excellent experience and I highly recommend if you haven’t been to Helsinki before. The information we received from Francisco was terrific, and Rachel was friendly, warm, interesting, helpful, and very “on top” of everything. Ed was our tour guide and Suomenlinna, and he was fun, informative, and very enjoyable!
went fantastic. only issue was driver left us off at wrong hotel, a block away. but danna, the guide, called, found us and all was well
Excellent Helsinki tour guides with precision timing to Orthodox Church, Lutheran Church, Oodi Library, Market Square, Parliament, ferry to Suomenlinna Fortress and other local places. Gave us personal time to also enjoy the Finnish culture and people. Pick up was a convenience.
Perfect trip. Our guide, Paula was excellent. She was knowledgeable, friendly, easy to talk to, and just a pleasant person to be around.
Sanna provided an amazing tour for us around Helsinki! She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We really enjoyed the ferry ride over to Suomenlinna.
Sanna was great! She was very knowledgeable and responsive to the questions and needs of the group. I highly recommend her! Also her English is great!
A nice small group allowed for friendly discussions and a fun, chill and engaging tour guide, Daniela was wonderful! Van was comfy and got on/off several times before the Markets and the Ferry to the Fort. Great guide and story telling about the history of Finland!! Recommend! Thank you!!
We had a fabulous time - harry is a superb guide! He’s friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our itinerary - especially the ferry and island . Helsinki is a beautiful place and our tour made it so.
Very good and nice trip og good guide
This tour was excellent. Sanna was very knowledgeable and had great insight during the tour. I would highly recommend booking this tour!
Pre-tour experience: The company sends reminders and instructions well in advance. Very clear instructions and helpful and friendly staff. The tour itself : Sanna was our guide. She is highly knowledgeable and was attentive to the needs of the group. Stress free travel. Very informative trip! Transport for the first half of the tour : driver was very safe and vehicle was clean comfy. One thing to note: there’s some walking on cobblestone paths which can feel uncomfortable for some people so wear proper walking shoes!
We had a great guide, Rachel, who had plenty to tell, and she also was pleased to get questions. The city tour gives a good sense of where you might want to return for a closer look. The Sibelius monument is wonderful, and we had enough time to enjoy it and take some pics. We were able to stroll the market, get some lunch (delicious salmon soup is available), and have a nice scenic ferry ride over to Suomenlinna. There is a lot of walking and hills there, so be aware. The weather changes quickly, so having an umbrella or light rain gear is recommended.
Pickup was easy. Tour guide was knowledgeable. Took an unscheduled stop at the Rock Church to hear a beautiful choir during the summer solstice celebration. Wish we had more time.
Sanna was incredible! She had a deep understanding of the ethnic, economic, political, financial, and cultural histories of the region. She was very concerned about our satisfaction and healthy safety, and even provided ponchosfor people who were not the brief episode of that. This is an amazing tour and I would do it again if I return to Helsinki!
Both guides very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
Right from the time I made the booking till the time I finished the trip, there was continous support and someone was always guiding and keeping in touch. This is very important and helpful.
