Jens showed us Helsinki from a cultural, historical, and architectural perspective. He responded to all our questions and was courteous and provided multiple opportunities for us to visit the toilet. He pointed out shopping areas and restaurants. He was engaging and spoke English very well. I would recommend him without question!

We had an amazing experience. Victoria was incredibly knowledgeable and very personable. She had great knowledge of Finland’s history, architecture, and culture. Such a delightful experience! Highly recommend this tour.
Had a great tour with Jens today. Learned about the history of Finland and Helsinki. Also learned about and saw a lot of the architecture and layout of Helsinki. Jens was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. His manner was great and we laughed a lot too. Thanks again Jens!
We had an awesome tour with Jens this morning. Jens is so knowledgeable and more importantly passionate about Finish and Nordic history. He shared so many interesting facts and really opened our eyes to what was above and below us in the city. Loved our time with Jens. Highly recommend.
Jens was outstanding, very enthusiastic and engaging and clearly very knowledgeable about Finnish history. Highly recommended
Tour guide was great and very knowledgeable
I had a great 3 hours walking tour in Helsinki with Jens yesterday. I usually prefer small group tour, and it was a bonus yesterday. I was the only person on the tour. Normally the tour operator would cancel the tour if the number is not sufficient; in my case, they didn’t. Well done!! Jens’ background is in Nordic history, which is excellent! While walking through the different parts of the city, he built up the history slowly for me to understand the city from the past until the present day. I appreciate this very much. Had a meaningful conversation with him too about Finnish culture. He is a very pleasant guy. I highly recommend him. Thank you so much!
Elodie is a great guide! She was fun and informative and the pace of the tour was just right. Her local knowledge was excellent and we learned some very interesting facts. The library was incredible.
Great overview of the city and an abundance of historical information about Finland Definitely recommend and ask for Victoria
Perfect introduction to Helsinki. Elodie was an excellent guide. She shared history of Finland and Helsinki and also what modern day life is like. She also showed us the highlights of the city plus a few extras like the underground tunnels and the stunning train station. Highly recommend the tour. It will truly enhance your experience in Helsinki.
We were extremely lucky to get Eldolie as our tour guide. Not only did she take us to all the highlights of things that you would want to see and Helsinki she took us into two libraries and into the tunnels Underground. She also spent a lot of time answering our questions as we were walking from site to site which was very interesting and gave us a real taste of what it is like to live in Helsinki.
Jens engaged the visitors’ interest, created a tour route that provided us with a broad scope of architecture, related the history of Finland with well constructed explanations, answered questions adeptly and demonstrated enthusiasm and broad knowledge. Moreover, he made good suggestions for continued exploration of the city’s museums , cultural sites and foot markets.
We were planning to visit the city ourselves but then decide to take this tour and was the best decision. Our tour was great coordinated. The tour guide Jens was amazing, really friendly and professional. He provided a lot of info and accommodates bathroom breaks during the tour. Also he speaks multiple languages and even took photos for us.
We had a great tour with Jens. He took the time to give us a short introduction on Finnish history and constantly expanded on it at various stops of our tour. Along the way he also taught us a lot about Finnish culture and Helsinki's surprisingly modern architecture. I found the Finnish library culture especially fascinating and our visit to the Oodi Library is a definite highlight for me. Oodi is not just a traditional library, but also offers other services like computers, 3d-printers, sewing machines, band or meeting rooms to residents. Even without a tour it is definitely worth visiting. (don't take pictures of people) As we had our tour on a sunday, lots of people were visiting the library and we really got the see the living culture of libraries. On Jens' recommendation we also visited the National Library the following day, which is a much more traditional library and definitely worth a short visit for the architecture.
Excellent walking tour- so much information on such a variety of topics. And a great overview of the city and its history. Very impressed with Ellodie…..
Great experience. Victoria was an awesome guide. I learned so much of the history of Finland and she made it so interesting. The 3 hours were packed with interesting sites.
Jens provided an outstanding tour with an introduction to Helsinki history, culture, food and global impact. Highly recommend!
The tour hit most of the city’s highlights. It was a good orientation on what to see on our own. Walking paths taken will be challenging for older and/or disabled individuals.
Vicky was fun, very informative and understanding of the speed our group wished to walk. Highly recommend this tour to see many key sights with an interesting historical perspective.
Victoria was prompt and kept it moving so we could see a lot of things. She tailored it to my interests and we covered a lot of territory. I never would’ve seen the inside of most of these buildings if it hadn’t been for her knowledge of the city.
We had an excellent tour guide! Jens showed us around Helsinki and provided us with all the history! He took photos for us and made sure to show us all the destinations we requested…and then some! Best tour of our vacation!! Thank you Jens!!
It’s good to see this beautiful city through the eyes of a proud local who really knows the place. The interaction between a small group of people is indispensable. You get a true sense and feeling for the place. I had one of the best experiences (it just happened to be my birthday too) thanks to Jens.
Very informative history of Helsinki and good opportunity to see the buildings and places that you might want to go back to for a more in-depth look later,
We got incredibly lucky with a small group of just four of us, and this actually happened twice across two cities on the same cruise, which felt almost too good to be true. Our guide Victoria Kras set the tone from the moment we met her. She had real passion and authority, delivered with a storytelling style that made everything stick. Every question thrown her way was handled with ease, and she consistently offered the kind of colour and background detail you simply don’t find in a guidebook. We covered a fair bit of ground on foot, taking in stories of Finland’s history and the gradual shaping of Helsinki into the city it is today. By the end I genuinely felt like I’d learned something, rather than just ticked off another stop on an itinerary. Can’t recommend this highly enough.
Our guide, Victoria Kras, gave us a wonderful walking tour of Helsinki and we have no hesitation recommending her, and the tour itself. Victoria has an easy way about her; she is very knowledgeable and was flexible with what the group wanted. Thank you Victoria: Nigel and Michele.
Very informative about the history of Finland. Victoria presented the information in a very pleasant way and kept our interest.
Great! Enjoyed it very much much!
Sensational. Elodie was our guide and we were so lucky to be the only 2 on the tour so we had 3 hours of walking Helsinki on a private tour! We had such a great time with Elodie - we'd only been in Helsinki for 2 days and it was such a good start. Thank you Elodie!
I had a walking tour yesterday in Helsinki with Victoria Kras. She was so interesting and knowledgeable, and made the city and the region's history come alive for me. Highly recommend.
We had a fantastic walking tour with Jen’s. He had extensive knowledge of Finish history which we found incredibly interesting. This knowledge really helped to give us a better understanding of Helsinki history and culture. Would really recommend the tour.
Elody is a great guide. Very informative. Would hire her again. Great introduction to the city and people.
Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and interesting. We saw a lot in 3 hours. I would recommend this tour for a good overview
Jens met us with a warm smile on a snowy morning and took us on an amazing loop around Helsinki. He was knowledgeable and made the hours fly by. We learned so much about the history and architecture of Finland. He offered ideas for us to see other sites and steered us to a great place for lunch. Jens also gave us some insight into the town’s culture. Everyone stayed engaged in the tour it was great!
The walking tour was ok. Our guide Victoria was friendly and very knowledgeable as she provided a lot of history in detail. However, it was a bit too much history and detail. It is very easy to lose attention while leaving no time to really soak in the site and take it in. I would suggest keeping history to a minimum and allowing people a few minutes to explore the site and take a few pictures. If someone is interested in more history, they can do so during this time. The walking tour could have been planned better.
Wonderful expérience with a passionate guide generous with historical cultural and architectural explanation and keys to understand this great city of Helsinki and its people. Thank you Victoria
Loved our walking tour with Elodie! We covered so many places, lots of history and stories about Helsinki and the pace was just right. Great way to start off our visit and Elodie was an inviting and very knowledgeable guide.
Elodie gave me a fantastic tour of the city center , she is a wealth of information both historical and daily life. I'm very happy to have taken her tour at the beginning of my stay as she provided me with tens of good information and addresses.
I did this tour when I had a 12 hour layover at Helsinki. A rainy day but Victoria gave me a wonderful experience with her knowledge of history and special places to visit. I always try to go on a walking tour whenever I visit a city and Victoria is one of the best guides I have had. She turned a wet day into a very memorable experience.
Vicky was well informed and very flexible to our needs. She had a great planned route and nothing was too much trouble. We had some miserable weather, but she made the tour very interesting for the 4 of us. Vicky was absolutely excellent.
We were given a great tour of Helsinki by Victoria, who was very knowledgeable and told us the story of the city and Finland. The small group allowed us tailor the tour for our interests. A particular highlight was a stroll through the embassy area, and the different architecture around the city. Wear good walking shoes :)
We spent three delightful hours touring Helsinki with Victoria K. and loved every minute. Vicky’s English is flawless—she lived in the U.S. and attended college in New York City. Although the tour was advertised as a small group, we happened to be the only two guests that morning, which made for a truly personalized experience. Vicky offered us a few options for what to see, and when I asked what she would show close friends visiting Helsinki for the first time, she suggested the waterfront. So that’s where we went—and it was absolutely wonderful. She's a fountain of knowledge: warm, engaging, and full of fascinating insights about the city. We recommend this tour with her wholeheartedly and without reservation.
I had the incredible pleasure of exploring Helsinki with Victoria as my tour guide, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience. Her professionalism, warmth, and deep knowledge of Finnish history and culture made the tour unforgettable. Victoria brought the city to life with fascinating historical insights, hidden gems, and personal touches. You could tell she genuinely loves what she does. Thanks to Victoria, I didn’t just see Helsinki I understood it. The tour left such a strong impression on me that I’m already looking forward to returning to Finland to explore more. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to experience Helsinki in a meaningful, informative, and truly memorable way. Thank you, Victoria! 💙 Rhegz
We enjoyed this walking tour! It was the right length to see the main sights and get a feel for Helsinki. The guide kept it interesting with fun facts and personal tips. A relaxed, enjoyable way to start our trip.
