The hotel was very nice and quaint and cozy. We had a very good time. There is so much to do in the area a bar downstairs and a little market down the street. In case you forgot anything. The manager Alina made sure all of our needs were met And took excellent care and helped us when we needed it. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Had to figure out the place for late checkin. It was at a bar next door. Rooms were pretty good, they give you just what you need an no more. Power outlet for my laptop was a bit hidden. But the one for my CPAP was very convient, big plus. It would be nice if there was a sign where the elevator was. Got a little lost. Perhaps a print on the doors or a stand out sign on the wall. Service is, Finnish, don't get in the way and I like that. The lady told me breakfast was at 9 but I think she meant it closed at 9. I saw it on the paperwork and was just fine. Not a problem.
I wanted to rate higher but we came in summer and were on the top floor. And even though it was around 15 at night and fan on... there's no AC, just a fan. I don't mind that the rooms are pretty dated, no renovation in the last 30+ years it seems. We could even have done without AC, but the room was so poorly ventilated. We opened the windows but the street was so noisy. I did not sleep more than an hour. Some staff were quite helpful and friendly, others were rude and not knowledgable about a very small town (we went across town to an Apteekki when there's one right up the street). Breakfast was decent but the coffee was inexcusably awful. Really though, this place could be so charming but it just needed a little more for our stay to be comfy.
Hotell Seurahuone was a friendly place to spend one night. The room wasn't super comfortable, there was some damage on the floor, probably from the moisture. One of the beds was very soft, with some broken strings. But the shower was nice with hot water, and it was very quiet during the night. So we had a good sleep. Restaurant was modern and clean, and I would give four stars for the breakfast.
Decent but not exciting, extremely weird that rooms lack AC and MiniBar är this day and age and considering the price. Breakfast was very basic but sufficient. Service was good, but English was an uphill struggle in the bar despite the bartender's commendable struggle to understand.
