Had a really good stay at Noli Sornainen and would recommend it. The room was very clean, had all the essentials as well as a well equipped kitchenette, comfy sofa and dining table. We were impressed by the room size and how spacious it was. There are lots of good food places nearby including a Lidl and K-market just outside. And it is very convenient to get around Helsinki with the nearby tram, metro or by walking.
Unlike a hotel there isn't cleaning of the rooms during short stays but we knew this ahead of time and it was fine.
The only thing we found annoying was the shower had no curtains around it which meant the floor got very wet after using it.
But overall we had a great time and would recommend.
Pros:
Free laundromat available in the basement, lidl on the ground floor, metro station right outside.
Cons:
The breakfast arrangement is absolutely not worth it and I definitely don't recommend it. It's basically a coupon to a coffee shop nearby. The value of the coupon can get you either a sandwich and a drink or a couple of pastries and a drink. Very limited selection of foods and with much less than 10.90 you can purchase pastries from Lidl and make tea in your hotel room or at the shared kitchen. Save your money.
The windows didn't shut the noise out, the mattress was a bit softer than my liking, no bedside table or outlet on one side of the bed.
I like that there was a sauna w snacks and amenities that when i got out i felt refreshed , room wise its pretty basic but being able to do a bit of laundry and a rack to hang up clothes is quite nice considering i had to do a week worth of laundry from traveling.
Also room view near the top during midsummer at 1 am is very pretty.
It was a great stay
Nice amenities. I had nice sunset view high up. Rooftop is decent but mostly for smoking. Lobby is well equipped and so are rooms. Laundry available. I would definitely stay here again. It was steps away from the trams and buses. Connected to airport and the center as well.
I stayed for a couple of days in a studio apartment and had a great experience. The facilities were excellent, the apartment was very clean, and the equipment and amenities were good. The view was nice, and the property security was reliable. The self check-in option was also very convenient. I would recommend this place.
