I stayed at U14 for 5 nights while at a meeting in Helsinki. The location is great, near the harbor with easy access to public transportation and key sights in Helsinki. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My room was really comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay there again.

The standout feature was the beds — mattresses, pillows and blankets were absolutely phenomenal. Best night’s sleep I’ve had in a hotel in a long time. Breakfast was excellent too. They properly catered for my wife’s coeliac needs with gluten-free Karelian pies and bread, which was much appreciated. Service was friendly and efficient, and the rooms felt modern and well looked after.
Excellent experience. Great location for exploring downtown. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable king sized bed with plenty of room. Sauna and gym on site. The breakfast is excellent, large selection of options such as eggs, yogurt with fresh fruit, proteins (bacon, smoked salmon, lunch meat, sausage) and pastries. They had gluten free bread as well and a large selection of juices. Dinner was excellent and most of the menu was gluten free. Highly recommend.
This is the Ideal hotel to be in helsinki. Perfect location just outside of the crowded area, but close enough for you to walk there. Good breakfast and very clean rooms. Everybody was nice to us during the stay. The parking is not at the place, but it is a block away. And they have this cool clock at the reception area. I would stay here again next time.
After a long trip, I came to this hotel intending to use the restroom and then book a room for myself and my husband. Instead, I was questioned about whether I was staying at the hotel and was refused access to the restroom. I was completely sober, well-presented, and simply looked like a normal traveler who had just arrived after a long journey. This is honestly the first time I've ever experienced something like this at a hotel. The experience left a very strange impression. If your policy is to turn away tired travelers who politely ask to use the restroom, that's your choice. Personally, I prefer to spend my money where people are treated with a bit more hospitality. We ended up booking a room at Heaven Hotel next door instead. There, nobody interrogated me about whether I was a guest before allowing me to use the restroom. They simply let a tired traveler use a clean, beautiful, good-smelling restroom and then welcomed us as customers. Wishing you success in business. Perhaps by the time of your next Marriott evaluations, you'll learn that sometimes letting a polite, respectable person use the restroom is not such a terrible idea. You never know what someone has been through before walking through your doors.
