Hotel Indigo Helsinki - Boulevard By Ihg

We arrived very early and dropped our bags while we went off exploring Helsinki. I've loved every Indigo I've stayed at and this was no exception. This hotel has a clean modern feel and you can tell they pay attention to detail. Friendly and helpful staff made checking in an out a breeze. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer great views from any direction on the higher levels. I would absolutely stay here again.

I like this hotel, it's good value for what you get. Especially the good service and excellent location. They were willing to accommodate me and my children when I wrote to them so that was really nice. There is a nice small park and playground nearby. Also this area in particular feels like one of the nicer part of Helsinki. It's quiet and the streets are nice. couldn't say about the breakfast as we didn't take it. Also don't expect room to be like new. Might come with a slightly worn out carpet or almost unseen unremovable stain on couch or wall. But that is almost negligible and not important for us. Otherwise it's clean, sheets and bed very comfortable.

Mostly a perfect hotel. The service was the only area where I could see improvement. A bit more training would elevate the hospitality experience. There were missed opportunities to make this place feel less like “hotel” and more like home: could feel more welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was a bit of a mess service-wise. The facilities and location were excellent. Super clean, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. Staff could use more training to really raise the level of customer service and satisfaction. Anupam made every breakfast a genuinely enjoyable experience. He is exceptionally kind, welcoming, and communicates with guests in a warm and thoughtful way. He has an impressive attention to detail and remembered our preferences, which made us feel truly valued. His professionalism, positive attitude, and genuine care for guests stood out every morning. He consistently went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great start to their day. Team members like Anupam make a lasting impression and are a big reason guests want to return. I hope the hotel recognizes his outstanding work. He would be an excellent candidate for a leadership or management role in the future.
