The tour guide did an excellent job of captivating us with Heidelberg's past through her captivating narratives. Highly interesting and knowledgeable explanations of medieval history, presented vividly. The time flew by, and it was also great with children and larger groups. A charming tour, and all questions were answered competently. A fantastic experience!

We booked this journey back in time to the year 1812 because it simply fits: Regarding our expectations for entertainment. On the weekend (only in summer on Saturdays or Sundays at 11 a.m. each day) Regarding our schedule and physical capability (90 minutes with a manageable distance and little incline) Regarding the budget (approx. 32 euros is perfectly fine) And we were 100% satisfied. The executioner's wife tells anecdotes from times past with serious self-irony, so that one gladly draws parallels to some of today's occurrences and spontaneously refrains from any sentiment along the lines of "everything was definitely better in the past." Truly recommended!

It was an exciting and exciting city tour with totally interesting stories and details about Heidelberg. The status of the woman and the executioner and what happened there had been told figuratively and created an exciting atmosphere.

We had a fantastic guided tour with the executioner's wife in Heidelberg's old town yesterday. Grete was just great and took the whole group with him. Content-wise, a successful mix of historical information about the city and exciting stories of the executioner's wife. Sometimes a bit “unappetizing”, but for our children (10 and 12 years) it was just right, and historically sound at all times. Although we are from Heidelberg and already knew a lot about the city, we still learned a lot of new things and had a wonderful time for 90 minutes. Conclusion: We have never had such an interesting and entertaining city tour! Thanks to the executioner's wife!

Sometimes only classic city tour; sometimes theme tour The executioner's wife tour in Heidelberg was by far the best I have experienced in years. My guided tour today, conducted by Grete, more than thrilled me. It was a pleasure to listen to the stories and small anecdotes. Grete told facts and figures in a playful, entertaining and informative way and brought them across with a lot of charm, vigour and competence. Grete was absolutely committed and brought us closer to the city in a very entertaining way. A real asset. The history and culture was conveyed to us in a very vivid way. Today we had a guided tour of the old town of Heidelberg with the executioner's wife. We were traveling for 90 minutes and worried that this might be a little too long for my girlfriend's little daughter, who time flew by! Today history was really fun. Thank you so much!

Wir haben für unseren letzten Urlaubstag die Führung mit der Henkersfrau gebucht. Viele neue Informationen zu Heidelberg, von einer sehr symphatischen Dame kurzweilig rübergebracht. Da auch Kinder dabei waren, wurde der "Gruselfaktor" angepasst.

Ich bin hin und weg! 🤩 Die Henkersfrau hat uns in ihre faszinierende Welt/Zeit gezogen und wir haben viel über das Leben des Henkers und über Heidelberg gelernt. Ich hab es sehr genossen eine fremde Stadt mal mit so viel Atmosphäre, Witz und Charm zu erkunden. Meine Begleitung aus Heidelberg hatte ebenfalls eine super Zeit und wir haben beide viel dazugelernt

Historische Fakten amüsant verpackt. Sehr glaubwürdige Darstellung, gute Show unter Einbeziehung des Publikums, trotzdem historisch korrekt. Geschichte kann auch Spass machen.
