We didn’t even check in after the receptionist (D.B.) was incredibly unfriendly. As someone working in hotels myself for 15 years I can’t understand how you can treat customers that awful from the moment they step in. We sat in the lobby and immediately booked another hotel to stay in and are happy we cancelled the stay. There are plenty of easy jobs out there where you don’t need to interact with customers which should be considered if you hate people and your job.
Very good and convenient location, to all the attraction points by walking. Room is clean and comfortable. Employees are very friendly and Helpful. Parking in the Tiefgarage cost 19 euro per night. Breakfast is also good. Do not miss the roof top restaurant and bar.
Stayed at the PLAZA Premium Heidelberg and honestly had such a great experience. The hotel was spotless, the location was perfect for exploring Heidelberg, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Everything felt comfortable, modern, and well taken care of. Definitely a place I’d stay at again!
Stayed here for 6 nights. Great location. Good rooms. Good breakfast (repetitive but Ok). The shopping street near Bismarkplatz was 3-4 mins walking, the Seegarten stop was also 5-6 mins walking to take a tram to the main train station. Great experience. Will recommend it for a comfortable stay!
A very swish hotel just outside the old town and shopping areas. It has underground parking around the back. You need your room key to access first though. You can park for 10 mins behind hotel while checking in. The hotel is modern stylish and well maintained. The staff are polite and attentive. The room was quite spacious. Sadly the bathroom has no bath. One of those open showers that end up soaking the whole bathroom floor right over to by the sink and toilet. A bigger screen would've prevented that. No amenity kit provided by default which is poor. You shouldn't have to ask when you are paying this much. The bathroom door is a sliding frosted glass thing with no lock. Not very private. A good quiet room though so no sleeping problem. The breakfast was really good and dining space is very nice.
