Great experience despite the price.

Itinerary
At Pearl Harbor, learn about one of the most pivotal moments in US history: the attack on Pearl Harbor, and the subsequent entry of the United States into World War II.
The USS Arizona Memorial, at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii, marks the resting place of 1,102 of the 1,177 sailors and Marines killed on USS Arizona during the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 and commemorates the events of that day. If tickets to the Navy boat launch tour out to the Arizona Memorial are available by the National Park on the day of your tour they will be provided. Otherwise, the Arizona Memorial can be seen from the shoreline at the Visitor Center.
USS Missouri (BB-63) was the last battleship commissioned by the United States and is best remembered as the site of the surrender of the Empire of Japan, which ended World War II.
USS Bowfin (SS-287) is a fleet attack submarine that fought in the Pacific during WWII, and helped to make famous the term, “Silent Service.” Bowfin was launched on 7 December 1942, exactly one year after the attack on Pearl Harbor. She was nicknamed the Pearl Harbor Avenger, so it is fitting that her permanent home is at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
The museum hosts a variety of aviation exhibits with a majority relating directly to the attack on Pearl Harbor and World War II.
Active military base with wayside exhibits and memorials. A clear view of the Arizona Memorial can be seen from the shore. Bookstore offering gifts and historic memorabilia.

A whole day was not enough! So much to see, amazing tour.
We were well taken care of. Frank did an awesome job getting us where we need and explaining everything
We had a great day exploring. Thank you for the great tour! We learned a lot.
Marvie was marvelous! He was at pick-up on time, had a great sense of humor, and provided us with great narrative. We absolutely were lucky to have him for our guide and driver.
The driver Rey was absolutely wonderful- friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and helpful. The lunch buffet at the aviation museum was filling and tasted excellent. This tour was the ideal way to access and see all the sites - I highly recommend this tour and tour company.
Our driver. Rey, was exceptional.
Very good experience overall. Our guide Rey was funny and knowledgeable on all things Pearl Harbor and Hawaii. Lunch was provided and it was good. All the workers at each site were helpful and nice.
Rey was knowledgeable and helpful
Well worth the money. Experienced guides and well oganised tour.
What a great tour! Price was very much worth the experience! Our tour guide, Rey, was phenomenal! A lot of great information about Oahu, Waikiki, Honolulu, Pearl Harbor, and all the museums! Drive to and from the museums was entertaining and informative! Pick-up and drop off was easy, on time, comfortable, and only a 5-minute walk from our hotel! Arrival to the first tour was well on time. We visited the USS Arizona Memorial first. Rey provided perfect instructions every step of the way from what to expect at the entrance of each museum, to when to meet back with the group, and provided waters and cookies as part of the tour! We then went to the USS Bowfin Submarine exhibit and then met with the tour group for lunch! Lunch was private in a cool location inside the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum with a private seating area, and was delicious (salad, rice, BBQ pork, chicken, tofu option as well)! Buffet style meal with dessert included. Next stop was to the USS Missouri and then home. Again, all on time with no delays. Very well planned itinerary. Text messages leading up to the trip were informative as well! Great communications from the Polynesian Adventure tour company! We were able to fulfill a lifelong goal to visit the memorial and museums and this tour was a perfect way to do this! We did not have to drive ourselves or plan our times to take guided tours. The Polynesian Adventure Tour company did all the planning for us! Thank you for a great day! We won’t forget!
Rey was absolutely AMAZING!!! VERY friendly, knowledgeable, & professional. He offered LOTS of info in addition to the actual tour stops! He was very helpful with tips, as well as directions and times for when & where to be. We LOVED the text communication in regards to timing, where to meet, & bus color, #, and his name...also 'running a little early, can you meet at 7:30? ' (vs. previous day text saying 7:40). Also appreciated picts in texts of bus styles, sizes, as well as image of where to meet curbside. This full day tour was AWESOME, & I have many many photos & memories from our day!
The tour was great. The only problem was we needed more time at each stop.
It was a great and cool experience
It was really fun and Rey was great. He was really energetic and really fun. He also shared a lot of fun facts and I wasn’t bored at all.
My son is interested in WWII history so we planned the full experience. The hotel pickup was convenient and timely. Our tour guide had a lot of character and spoke very clearly. We were given clear instructions and then left to our own devices to explore the multiple locations included in the tour. Lunch provided at the Ford Island was very tasty though not picky kid approved, but fortunately it is right beside the Hanger Cafe so we just walked over and ordered hot dogs/fries for him. Ample time was provided at all locations, and we always left promptly on time .
This was our first trip to Oahu so we wanted something that would shows us the area as well as take us to Pearl Harbor. This was perfect. Our driver Wes was very knowledgable of the area and had a great sence of humor. He made the tour very entertaining as well as giving insights on the area and the history. I highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide Keith was excellent very funny, kind and considerate
Was a great experience from start to finish
It was a full day with a small group Lunch was fantastic SS Missouri was a highlight as attended on anniversary of surrender band was great and the address emotional The submarine tour was interesting The trip out to the SS Arizona was humbling Overall it was an incredible learning experience The true difference was Frank our tour guide with his interesting facts and sense of humour. Frank was so accommodating clear with his instructions and made it an awesome experience
REY was our driver. He was fantastic.
Rey did an amazing job keeping the group on track. Very knowledgeable and friendly!!! Much appreciated day all the way around!
Kimoke'o was an excellent tour guide and bus driver!!!
This was very informative, a poignant account of our country’s history that every American should experience at some time. On the other hand, there was some down time when I felt like we could’ve made the trip shorter by an hour or maybe two.
Rey was amazing. We learned so much on the way to Pearl Harbor and on the return.
Mo was a fabulous guide. She provided wonderful education which enhanced the entire experience.
Don’t skimp on cost - the “Deluxe Tour” is well worth the cost. All venues you’d want to visit are provided, ie, USS Missouri, USS Arizona, Bowfin sub, Aviation Museum and more…plus lunch….also, plenty of time to wander on your own, particularly on the battleship, USS Missouri. Lots of history covered. And fwiw, our tour guide, Mike, was excellent, as well as entertaining.
Mo provided us with an excellent tour of Pearl Harbor and was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating! The only thing we wish is that we had more time to see everything, but that couldn’t be helped. You could spend all day at just one site. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island!
Today’s Heroes Tour in Hawaii was absolutely unforgettable. I spent the day walking through history — from the USS Arizona Memorial to the USS Missouri and every powerful stop in between — and it was one of those experiences that hits you right in the heart. My history‑major son was in his element. He enjoyed asking questions, and genuinely light up at every detail made the whole day even more meaningful. It wasn’t just a tour… it was a moment I’ll remember forever.
Rey was awesome. Gave us great information about the area and Prarl Harbor.
Great time! My family enjoyed the tour. Informative, interesting, fun. Worth the money!
The driver was punctual and friendly. He was informative and kept accountability for the patrons. I was a little annoyed with the constant dialogue, but that is something that I don't like in general about group tours. My partner said the tour was very good.
An excellent tour covering all the main Pearl Harbour sites. Garfield, our guide and driver, was exceptional and full of stories and facts. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone wishing to understand the devastating Pearl Harbour attach in 1941.
We went with a NCL excursion. Our guide was Ken and he was excellent. Extremely knowledgable! Even gave us some extra insider information along the way. Prompt picking us up when he said. Make sure you ask for Ken’s bus. I would definitely want him to be my guide again!
Before planning our vacation to Hawaii, we heard three different people from three different backgrounds talk about Pearl Harbor and how memorable the experience was. They were not wrong. We were able to see the Arizona Memorial, the USS Bowfin, the Aviation Museum, the Oklahoma Memorial and the USS Missouri. We were aware of the Arizona Memorial, but not that many of the survivors chose to come back to be buried with their shipmates. We were also not aware of the Oklahoma or the memorial. This was another unexpected experience that further cemented the value of the people who served and the sacrifices they made. The one day trip was amazing. If there was one thing we could change, we would probably make the experience two days. One for the Arizona and Bowfin and one for the Aviation Museum, the Oklahoma and the Missouri. It was a wonderful experience, and places we would recommend that everyone visit.
Picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off. There were parts of Pearl Harbor we had to drive too and we were driven there as well. Our guide was hilarious and told us many things about Pearl Harbor on the way and in between stops. Had plenty of time to see everything during the day and had next to no stress about that day because our driver kept us on track to make sure we had enough time to see everything!
We had a wonderful time. Frank our driver and guide was extremely knowledgeble and attentive to our needs.
Wes our bus driver was awesome and funny. He keep the tour moving and on time and made sure you understood where to be at what time, all the while being funny and entertaining. We saw the battleship Missouri, the aircraft museum, the Bowfin submarine with the Submarine museum, the Pearl Harbor visitor center, and the Airzona memorial. All of which are a must to understand what happened and how people were affected in the 1940s during WW2. Wes did not come with us to each area, He made sure we knew where to be and what time while he stayed with the bus so that we could come back any time before the cut off time.
I couldn’t have asked for a better tour experience! Everything was executed as promised. Pickup was seamless and on time. The bus was immaculate and tricked out with amenities. The tour professional was very friendly and supremely knowlegable about the history of Pearl Harbor and Hawai’i. I had the opportunity to see every exhibit - and there was no rush, plenty of time. Tickets were taken care of as part of the package-what a convenience! A tasty Hawaiian lunch was built into the package too- one less thing to have to worry about. If you want to see the entire spread: Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Bowfin submarine, the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, Ford Island Airport and the USS Missouri - THIS IS THE BEST way to do it. No need to worry about transportation or directions. No need to plan lunch. No need to deal with all the hassle surrounding various tickets to the different venues. I wholeheartedly recommend Polynesian Adventure Tours to anyone who wants to focus on enjoying (and not planning the logistics) for seeing all of these historic national treasures.
This tour was amazing. So much packed into a full day. If history and military are in your wheelhouse this is the tour for you. Kenneth was friendly and knowledgeable and made the trip between destinations interesting and enjoyable. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough.
I think going to all4 experiences enhances the Arizona Memorial
Excellent day with Chase as our driver and guide. He kept us on schedule, provided all of the information we needed, and we had plenty of time at each stop to see and do everything we wanted. Great experience!
This tour was amazing. We were able to see all of Pearl Habor ang gain a better understanding of the attack.
What a wonderful experience! Our tour guide, Kimoke'o, was very knowledgeable and helpful. With his guidance and directions we were able to experience and see everything on our agenda. Thank you so much!!
Our tour driver was Chelsie, and we give her 5 stars and the highest recommendation. She communicated with us prior to the trip so we were well prepared for security restrictions; the bus was very comfortable including a toilet and she maneuvered it expertly through the city streets. She entertained us with cultural and historical events while driving, and she also taught us how to pronounce Hawaiian words accurately. The Pearl Harbor tour itself was a highlight of our vacation - both somber and respectful but also highly factual. We visited the USS Arizona monument to pay our respects, but we also had ample time to explore the submarine USS Bowfin and the USS Missouri, the final battleship to be decommissioned. Lunch in the Aviation Museum was hot and delicious, and we ate surrounded by beautifully preserved WWII airplanes. This was a full day tour and it was one we will never forget. Thank you Chelsie for spending this day with us.
Had a blast on this trip! Was a really fun and educational trip!
Kimoke’o is wonderful! He provided lots of information about the Hawaiian islands! I would highly recommend him to any visiting!
The entire tour was awe inspiring. Our tour guide, Leilani was one of the best tour guides we have ever had! She was personable, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel at ease! She was pure joy!
Great tour! We visited Pearl Harbor including the boat out to USS Arizona Memorial, and then toured the USS Bowfin submarine, Aviation Museum, and USS Missouri battleship. Buffet lunch at the Aviation Museum was included and was very good. The cost of the tour is very reasonable if you take into account the cost of tickets for Bowfin, Aviation, & Missouri, lunch, and rental car or taxi. The tour was very well organized - there was plenty of time to explore at each location, but not too long. Our driver was very informative and shared lots of local history on the drive to/from Pearl Harbor.
We did a quick Honolulu city tour that exceeded expectations, even though it was more of a drive-through experience than a stop-and-go tour. The route included historic churches, government buildings, and the National Memorial Cemetery, and our driver did an outstanding job bringing everything to life with clear, engaging history and context. Nick, our driver, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, easy to follow, and gave just the right amount of detail without overwhelming us. Even without stopping at each location, we felt like we truly learned a lot about Honolulu’s history and significance. The main goal of the tour was to get us to Pearl Harbor for the USS Missouri tour, and everything was timed perfectly. We had several hours to explore and could have done even more, but we had a flight to catch. Nick provided clear instructions so we knew exactly where to go and what to expect. Overall, this was a well-organized, informative, and efficient tour—perfect if you’re short on time but still want a meaningful overview of Honolulu before heading to Pearl Harbor. Highly recommend, especially if you get Nick as your driver. From FLORIDA, Tampa
