Excellent knowledge and experience from crew. Boat excellent shape and skipper was fun and excited about whales.

1st boat ride and whale watching for my granddaughter who had a Wonderful time!! We got to see a lot of baby whales and their parents. Great Ride!! Highly recommended this Team of ladies.

This was a great experience. You will see whales, but temper your expectations. We were lucky enough to have a whale breach right next to our boat, but that is a very rare occurrence. The staff running the tour are great and knowlegable and we learned a lot from our trip. It was also very romantic and there was plenty of space for everyone. It was not a large boat so it didn't feel over crowded.

Amazing viewing of humpback whales. Mindy and James were so great, educating us about the humpback whales and making sure we could see. Great chance to take photos, so many whales to watch! Made my trip so great and worth it.

Oh my. Gosh! We just took this excursion and I had to make sure I wrote a review. These ladies were so knowledgeable and they were so much fun! We learned a lot and saw so many whales. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Can’t wait to come back with my husband next year. We will definitely book with this awesome crew and their pink boat!

This was our second year going out with Maui Ocean Adventures. Last year was so fantastic we couldn’t wait to do it again. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT.. The boat is the perfect size. Not too big so you don’t have a crowd aboard. Small enough so you can be relatively close to the water and hear every word the crew has to say. What a great whale watching experience. Hats off to the captain and guide, they did a fantastic job and it clearly showed they love their job and wanted everyone on board to have a great time. I will definitely book again with Maui Ocean Adventures the next vacation I take to Maui.

We saw SO MANY WHALES!! My guess is around 10–mommas, babies and males! The babies were very active by breaching the water over and over!! We so many more whales on this watch than we did on a different watch 4 days ago. Chrissy and Emma were great and we were happy to support two local women from Lahaina!!

We saw so many whales on our whale watch!! The owners were so informative about the whales and their behaviors! We saw many more whales on this tour than the one we had about four days ago!! I highly recommend this company owned by two Lahaina women. And I loved the pink boat!!

Generally a good ride, you will see whales (March)! Sitting in the bow makes it a little difficult to see the whales through the bars. Boat was clean and safety was first. Craft operators were knowledgeable and friendly but maybe could talk less to allow passengers to absorb the experience.

Very fun whale watching experience with knowledgeable guides! First time to Maui and we would definitely recommend this company to friends!

Saw a lot of whales, the guides spent about 10-15 minutes with each group of whales that we saw and then we moved on to the next ones. Overall the boat was nice, and the staff and knowledgeable. There is no bathroom or beverage service (bring your own water) and this tour is only about whale watching. Would recommend!

We had Captains James and Mindy! They were absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable about whales. I have been lucky enough to go on many whale watches, and this was by far one of the best I have experienced. We got to witness a comp pod of about 6 whales and even got a breach right in front of us. This is a woman-owned small business that is run by Lahaina Fire survivors. They truly make you feel part of their family. The boat was at capacity, but it was still very spacious and easy to see and take photos of all the whales. They knew exactly where to find the best whales and even let me borrow an extended pole for my GoPro to try to capture underwater video of the humpbacks. They also played music as we drove out and back, which added to the overall amazing vibe that Maui Ocean Adventures has. I highly recommend this company, and I wish I found them sooner!

We had an exceptional two hours of whale watching with this company. The captain and Emma went out of their way to make sure we had abundant whale watching opportunities . At the very end of the trip there were two whales near the mouth of the harbor. The crew could appropriately have headed for the dock, but instead stopped to make sure we had one last whale watching experience. Emma shared great information about what was happening with the whales.

We loved our experience with Maui Ocean Adventures. Captains Emma and Chrissy were so fun and made us feel safe! We were greeted by their golden retriever Lilikoi and felt at home the entire time. They knew so much about the whales and we had the most fabulous time! We even had a whale come right beside the boat. It was such a comfortable boat, but you might bring a rain jacket for sea spray! The sea spray made it all the more fun. Go on their boat tours. You won’t regret it!

We had an amazing experience on the sunset whale-watching tour. The crew was very knowledgeable and fun. We saw a mom and baby, tail and flipper slapping and one whale breached right by our boat! We even got to hear the whales singing when they put a microphone in the water. So exciting!!!! I recommend this tour 100%. What a memorable experience!

Instructions to get to the meeting location were clear. Give yourself plenty of time to find parking and be able to walk to the dock if you don’t get lucky. The guides were clearly passionate and knowledgeable. The group was also smaller compared to other tours we saw, which was a huge plus! Great experience overall. We’d do it again!

Shannon & Lexi were great. I’ve been on a lot of whale watching trips and after some more typical briefer encounters we were lucky enough to have a young male whale just hang with the boat and giving us a fantastic encounter. This type of smaller boat was ideal .

Fantastic d/experience. We really liked the boat, it gave us lots of room to move around but it was still really small and intimate. Hydrophone experience was fantastic. Captain James and crew person Mindy were really friendly and helpful. Definitely support this local company!! The whales gave us a great show;)

This was a fabulous whale watch. We did see a lot of them, but it was because of Chrissy and Emma. They educated us on the whales and knew where to go to get us the best visibility.

What a fantastic experience! Our tour was on a rainy day but Captain Emma made it fun despite the weather. The crew is so knowledgeable and made sure we saw (and heard) lots of whales. I've been on a few whale watches and this one was top notch! Captain Emma and whale whisperer Shannon were a great team. They provided a good balance of information about the wildlife and area with the opportunity to just enjoy seeing whales. We also saw spinner dolphins which was super cool! We got to watch a humpback baby breach multiple times! Quite the show! They clearly care about the whales and the marine environment. The boat was comfortable and safe: even with some bumpy water. Overall a great trip! *** Traffic was bad getting to Lahinia, so be sure to allow EXTRA time!

Captains Sharon and Allison did an excellent job! Very competent and engaging. Provided information about humpback whales habits including their breeding and migration patterns. Had multiple whale sightings with spectacular views. The boat was a comfortable size with great views frm any seat.

This was the very best excursion we have ever been on. Shannon and Alison were so informative and we were able to see whales the entire time. There were pods of whales showing off and mama whale teaching her baby to do all kinds of tricks. Such as, flipping, breaching and jumping. It was breathtaking. Thanks ladies for showing us the time of our lives. Also thanks for waiting for us. We would have hated to miss it.

Shannon and Alison were both super informative and personable. While out we seen multiple different groups of whales and we even got to see one jump out of the water high into the sky and a mother and her baby playing. I highly recommend this tour company and I would go again in a heartbeat.

Overall experience was amazing. These two women on this boat were the best and most knowledgeable. There were a few other boats out on water and it really seemed like ours was the best. Book the sunset cruise for sure.

This was a FABULOUS whale watch trip. We have done many of them, but this one was the best. Several whales came right up next to the boat, and played around for 20 minutes or so. Our captain must have been doing something right, as there were other boats in the area but the whales kep coming back to OUR boat. It was great to see the enthusiasm of the captain and crew during this truly unique experience.

Maui Ocean Adventures gave us an amazing experience. The boat was comfortable and safe. The captain and the on board naturalist were so knowledgeable and gave us great information. We saw many whales and were very close to one who lifted his face and tail right near the boat. I highly recommend this local company.

Great boat ride in the sunset....we booked last minute...whales weren't that active...better whale tours to go on....we prefer the rubber rafts.
