Vince is a great tour operator who knows his stuff. But we came to Hawaii to relax and get away from crazy city drivers. He literally ran 5 red lights during the tour to get to the next location before other tour groups. It would have been more enjoyable had he absorbed the island feel and slowed down. That said, every site was beautiful, Vince helped taking family and group shots, we learned a lot about the history, culture, and language of Hawaii.

After bringing in automatic pineapple peelers, business boomed even greater. In 1950, a small fruit stand was created in Dole’s fields. Registered as a National Historic Landmark since 1962 and the only official royal residence in the United States.
This majestic King Kamehameha I statue that stands proudly out the front of Ali’iolane Hale in Downtown Honolulu, is a casting of one of Hawaii's most beloved and revered rulers Kamehameha the Great, who was the first to unify all the islands and welcome westerners to his lands. Kamehameha was a revered warrior and leader, and he united Hawaii into one royal kingdom in 1810 after years of conflict. He also encouraged foreign trade and technology while avoiding foreign rule. He is depicted in the 18-foot bronze statue as extending his hand in a welcoming gesture of aloha. King Kamehameha commissioned the construction of Ali’iolani Hale to be the royal palace of the Hawaiian Monarchy. It was built in the Italian Renaissance Revival style and its name means ‘House of the heavenly King’. Ali’iolani Hale eventually became an administrative building and now houses the Supreme Court of Hawaii as well as the Judiciary History Center. The 18-foot bronze King Kamehameha Statue.

Captain Vincent is a gregarious and super engaging guide. We had a great time and the island was beautiful. Get off your resort for a day and take the tour!
Getting up with the chickens is so worth it to catch the sunrise with Captain Vince. Well planned tour around the island with stops at the famous spots and a few personal favorites of the Captain. Who by the way, prides himself in staying ahead of the crowds. Did a personal stop for me for Dole whip and Hawaiian ice. Lunch was well organized and delicious. Throughout the day, Captain Vince shared his local knowledge and photos he took of us. Diana, hope you had a safe journey home as once you spend the day with Captain Vince we were all family. Definitely recommend.
This tour was amazing and full of good vibez. Due to early start time, we beat the influx of crowds at all locations. The botanical garden was truly magical. Our tour guide Vince was full of knowledge and kindness. I HIGHLY recommend. 10/10 !!
I love our guide he was just perfect for tour guide and I love him. I immediately felt like he was my long time neighbor.
I’ve done many tours travelling around the world before, no tour guide is just as good as Captain Vince. Best day ever, could not recommend enough!
It was fun and relaxing. The driver(owner) was very knowledgeable about the areas I went to. Perfect sunny days
Captain Vince was great, he knew everything. Even when there was a major, expected closure, he did his best and made the tour worth taking. The Byodo temple is beautiful and so peaceful, and the birds feeding from our hands and arms was a blast.
The communication and information from Epic Tours was outstanding from the moment we booked the tour. Our collection at our Waikīkī Hotel was dead on time and the tour exceeded expectations (I’m generally not a tour guy). Our tour guide, Justin’s , local knowledge and history of Hawaii made it real special. All through the day his experience as a guide added value at every stop made. a special shout-out and thanks for his care and concern, as we struggled to get back to Waikiki through the traffic grid-lock caused by the Tsunami warning. We would definitely use Epic on any future travel to Oahu and assuredly recommend them through Viator. Thank you again Captain Vince and Justin. Mahalo
Justin was an AMAZING tour guide! He is very informative and friendly. He did a great job of teaching us the history of the island and the Hawaiian people. We enjoyed our day immensely!
Wow, I have been on a lot of excursions but never have had somebody as friendly and then knowledgeable about Hawaii,. Thank you to Captain Vince. Our tour was exceptional. I would recommend you to anybody me and my husband were flabbergasted on. What a great trip we had especially on your tours and in the end, you actually even took us to the airport you are a one man stop And really care about your guests i’ve seen people do good at their job but not only do you do a great job you enjoy what you do and that means the most to people. Thank you again for an outstanding job. I recommend this highly to anybody that is looking for a great excursion or need to be picked up or dropped off at the airport thank you so much
Captain Vince made our tour unforgettable from start to finish. He’s funny, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and made everyone feel right at home. Whether it was sharing stories, pointing out hidden gems, or just cracking jokes, he kept the vibe light, fun, and full of aloha. He even got me—someone who does not like birds—to hand-feed zebra doves at the Byodo-InTemple. If that doesn’t speak to his gift for creating memorable experiences, I don’t know what does! Truly one of the best guides I’ve ever had. If you get the chance to tour with Captain Vince, do it. You’ll leave with great memories, better photos, and probably a new favorite person.
It was an amazing trip. The Temple was s great place to visit and the Botanical Gardens was so lovely. It had such amazing gorgeous plants.
Captain Vince really made this tour exceptional. He was so fun to spend the day with. I highly recommend his tour, you get to all the attractions before the other tour vans , and it feels like the stops are just for you. Everyone knows him and warmly welcomed us. He made us feel like family “ohana “.💕
Amazing guide with a tremendous amount of knowledge, humor, and perseverance. He definitely helped a group of duds connect and learn about Hawaii and maybe even themselves.
Full day of amazing sights and adventure. Captain Vince was a wonderful guide. He is knowledgeable and fun. My husband and I had a memorable time!
I had a great time in this tour with Captain Vince. He provided a lot of information. I learned a lot of Hawaiian words, history. Great little places to eat. Best pineapple stand from a local seller!
Cpt. Vince is amazing! He took us all around and explained everything very well and taught us the local language.
It was great. Our guide Capt Vince is knowledgeable and really cool! Will recommend this tour and Capt Vince
We traveled the island with uncle smiley yesterday and we had the best time!! He was interactive and very knowledge about the island. We came out to spread the ashes of my grandmother who recently try passed away and we stopped at several beautiful places. I just want to send him out a huge thank you for his condolences and his helping to make sure we got to put her some of Hawaiis most gorgeous spots❤️
Well organized, driver was friendly, and knowledgeable! He shared history and gave us local nuggets of information. The driver was fun, and engaged the group as one. At the end of the day it was sad to say goodbye to the group.
Justin was our tour guide. This experience is the perfect first day excursion. The trip around the island checked off a lot of our must-see boxes. Justin was very knowledgeable and gave us great ideas for the rest of our stay. We really enjoyed getting to know Justin and the island. Highly recommend!
Wow!! What a great time with Captain Vince!! Us girls had a wonderful tour, got to see great spots all around the island and hear the history and learn the Hawaiian words and how to say them. The temple was so peaceful and got to feed the birds and fish. The botanical gardens had such a diversity of plants and the waterfall was a treat. Go on this tour you will love it especially if you go with the Captain!!
Had a tour with our awesome guide Uncle Smiley. He was great! Took great care of our group. Highly recommend this experience. Made us feel like family.
One of the highlights of our trip was the tour with Uncle Smiley who was exceptionally amazing individual who made us feel like ohana. He did not only took us in to show us around the beautiful island of Waikiki but taught us traditions, respect for Hawaiian cultures, and applying the language. He also made the ride entertaining with trivia and story telling. Mahalo Uncle Smiley for unforgettable day; may you always live to the fullest with joy and laughter. You’ll be remembered by the three ladies of piggery farm. Aloha.
Our tour with Epic One Tours, guided by the incredible Uncle Smiley, was nothing short of magical! From the moment we were greeted with his infectious smile and warm aloha spirit, we knew we were in for an unforgettable experience. Uncle Smiley's knowledge of Hawaii's history, culture, and hidden gems was outstanding. He didn't just show us the sights; he brought them to life with captivating stories and personal anecdotes. What really stood out was his genuine passion for sharing the spirit of Hawaii. He made everyone in our group feel like ohana (family), and his humor and charisma kept us entertained throughout the journey.
This is our first visit to the island. After having done a few tours. These guys have been the best by far. Justin our driver and guide for the day was fantastic. I highly recommend these guys. We took our 5 children with us, and they loved it.
My husband and I loved every bit of this tour. Uncle smiley was very knowledgeable and friendly. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time. Will definitely recommend this tour 🖤
“AWESOME”!! Justin provided us with probably the best tour we’ve had! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our day and time with our group of travelers. Justin started out so upbeat and our group followed suit. He was knowledgeable and very entertaining while encouraging questions and answering every question. He also was a wealth of knowledge for island history! Just an overall fantastic tour that we would highly recommend to anyone interested! Lee and Julie
Great experience. From group pictures to all the views, story times it was a very good tour. Excellent driver. (Justin)
We booked a tour with 1 Epic Tour LLC in Hawaii to celebrate our honeymoon, and it was absolutely phenomenal! Our guide, Justin, was a wealth of knowledge, sharing the rich history, culture, and local food traditions of the island throughout the day. He made every stop engaging and memorable, and we felt like we were truly experiencing the heart of Hawaii. From the breathtaking scenery to the fascinating stories Justin shared, it was the perfect way to explore the island on such a special occasion. Highly recommend this tour!
We were looking for a way to fill a day in Oahu and came across this tour and company. The reviews were really good and it looked like a small group instead of a large tour bus so we decided to go for it. It was a great decision. Justin picked us up on time and we were on our way with 7 other people. Justin is a local and took us to majestic vistas that only locals know about in addition to the regular spots and destinations. He regaled us with history, facts, and stories of Hawaii and its people and culture. He was so informative, engaging and entertaining. We really learned a lot and have a new appreciation for the islands. We very highly recommend Justin and this company for the tour. He was a fabulous tour guide and the stops were amazing. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.
Brilliant tour with Justin, Driver and tour guide extrordinare, enjoyed the trip immensely learning about the local Hawaiin history, his passion for his lands is outstanding.
Small group tour in a small van with a knowledgeable guide. Stayed a short time at most attractions, but that was enough.
We had an amazing experience with our tour guide -‘“ Justin” during our recent trip. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area, and his passion for sharing that information with us was evident throughout the tour. They were also very personable and engaging, making the experience even more enjoyable. We learned so much and had a great time thanks to our tour guide. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic tour experience. Oahu Best Tours.com
We had an excellent time on this tour with an amazing guide! Piolani was very welcoming, made sure we were comfortable and provided a great historical account of the island’s history and folklore. We loved it and even our 15yo nephew, who you can never tell if he’s having fun, said he really liked it and learning the history. Thanks for a memorable day!!
There were some initial challenges with my first vendor, Captain Vince. His door broke on the bus, you could get in but not out. Rather than have me miss the trip, he booked me with a friend at a different company. He paid for it himself. He then paid for lunch same day. He refunded me almost half cost for my trouble because it was a two day effort. He also offered to take me back to the airport at no cost. I have never ever been treated so well when things went sideways. When I asked him why he did so much, he said we were Ohana… family. I lost both my dad and my gram 7 months apart. It was important for me to go to this temple as part of my grieving process and closure. He made that happen. I am extremely grateful and it gave me peace. Captain Vince was amazing. Keioke at Enoa, the company that stepped in, was an amazing guide and gave an unbelievable tour. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this experience all the way around.
Justin was exceptional with knowledge of his homelands and the hospitality to make us feel welcomed to Honolulu. We enjoyed every part of the tour. We will definitely recommend Epic to anyone we know coming to the Island. Thank You ! Jen.
We had a great time exploring the island and surrounding areas with Justin, he’s a very knowledgeable guy and definitely knows his stuff, I’ll would definitely recommend him Thanks again, Justin
Great way to see many awesome spots throughout the island! Justin was a great tour guide. Byodo-In Temple and the water falls were the highlights for sure
We have just returned to our Hotel after a wonderful day with Captain Vince. This tour was FUN! Vince had us all twisting our tongues around pronunciation of Hawaiian words, towns, mountain ranges and more! We tried macadamia coffee; pineapple dole (yum) & delectable maladadas (oh my 😋). We visited the serene Byodo-In Japanese Temple (so beautiful) & swam in the waters at the base of the Waimea Waterfall in the spectacular Botanical Gardens. Lastly, lunch at Nico’s .. definitely worth the local knowledge!!! Thank you Captain Vince … we will definitely be recommending this to any of our friends heading to Oahu (Meeting Place … I remembered 😉)
We really enjoyed this tour such an amazing experience. Takes you all the way around just beautiful. My favorite was the waterfall. Our driver and owner was very knowledgeable and friendly. You will not be disappointed on this tour. Wear comfortable shoes..,Thank you guys for making my trip memorable
Justin showed us the most amazing day. It was definitely the highlight of our first visit to Hawaii. He was brilliant at keeping us ahead of the crowds and knowing just what we needed. Swimming in Waimea Falls was amazing! We really appreciated Justin's knowledge of Hawaiian culture and his passion in sharing what makes Hawaii so special, so unique. We highly recommend this tour experience.
There seemed to be some things missing from the tour - no water was given out. Also we did not stop at the pastry location. We did not realize that this tour was actually a tour of the island as only two locations were listed. Should be more clearly described.
El guía llegó de muy mal humor y realizó comentarios grotescos todo el día refiriéndose a mi persona. Un día muy incómodo!
