We booked the ghost tour, as we do in every city that we spend several days visiting. It's a great informal way to learn some unusual things about a new place. We had Wyatt as a guide and he was amazing. It was a small group, which allowed us to ask any additional questions without messing up his timeline. Wyatt is a fantastic story teller and kept everyone on their toes. If you have their time, splurge for the extra stops. It is so worth it.

Itinerary
Much like the rest of Waikiki, the history of this land goes back to the 1400s. Listen as your guide begins your tour with spine-tingling stories of this land's dark past. People come to pay homage to Hawaii’s past, and many believe that these Stones of Life still possess healing powers. See if you can feel anything for yourself!
Pay tribute to Duke Paoa Kahanamoku, one of the island's most famous icons. Often credited with making the art of surfing known throughout the world, we have so many stories to share with you at this stop. You will also be told the legend of the Night Marchers, and how to look out for them on your own.
Being a new hotel, there isn't much history behind this building yet--but that hasn't stopped a few paranormal entities from moving in. We feel the land this hotel was built on must have some emotional energy attached to it...listen, learn, and keep your eyes peeled!
Enjoy and appreciate the neo-Gothic design of this iconic island landmark on our last stop of the standard tour. Your guide has several spooky stories to tell at this final stop before they send you on your way, full of ghost stories and fun facts to share with your friends back home!
As Waikiki was developing and buildings were being constructed, human remains were excavated from various sites throughout the area. This burial mound was created to give the uncovered remains a respectful and proper burial. As such, this is a very active site for paranormal activity. Listen as your guide shares a few more stories with you before concluding the tour.

Our guide Jax was wonderful and knew a lot of information. She took her time and explained the history of the places and items very well. If you are interested in the history with a little mystery of the island I would highly recommend going on a tour.
Jax gave an amazing and fun tour!! Scary as well!! :)
Wyatt was very entertaining and knowledgeable. The extended tour was well worth the extra money. I would recommend to anyone.
What a fun night. Wyatt and Jax were the guides and they were very knowledgeable about local legends of the ghostly kind. I had an EMF detector to use during the tour and this added an extra bit of excitement to the experience, as it kept lighting up during the evening. The best part about this tour was the ease of access. I didn’t have to leave the Waikīkī area and part of the tour involved the hotel I was staying in which was creepy.
Ehm.... I got the sense our guide was quirky and knowledgeable, but really not a good story teller (which I think is the experience you're paying for) and not particularly self-aware or attuned to the group. From reading prior reviews, I have a feeling this tour is really hit or miss depending on your guide. For us, it was a bit of a dud.
We had a great tour with Jax as our ghost guide. Interesting stories, friendly conversation, and a little bit of history included.
By far a great tour guide. Terry was great . I felt sick and had to leave early but the kids thought it was wonderful. 5 stars . Would recommend
What a waste of money. I’ve done ghost tours all over the US, Canada, and Europe and this was by far the worst. We were told to meet at the Duke Statue and she was waiting by another building with her back turned and no sign. We stopped at 6 places and she talked about conspiracy theories in between stops / at stops. Just look up the history. At the end she hung around until us and a couple tipped. So not only did we spend over 70 CAD on two tickets we tipped 10 usd. The tour was supposed to be an hour and it was stretched to 48 minutes. DONT DO IT.
Kathryn was pleasant and knowledgeable. She added a lot of history, which I liked. That is really all I have to say in this review.
Terry was very knowledgeable about the area and stories. I love to hear the history of a place when I travel.
Terry told lots of spooky stories at several stops as we walked along Kalākaua Ave. Some of the stories even gave me chills. I also learned a lot about Hawaiian history. He's a great storyteller and very friendly.
My best friend and I are visiting from Canada. We booked this tour and it was the best night we had yet. Nigel was amazing and we were sitting on the edge of our seats the whole time. Great tour of so many amazing local spots. I can’t say enough awesome moments about our nights 100% recommend this tour. If you’re lucky enough to have him, you’ll be in for an epic night!
There were 3 of us on this tour in Waikiki and it was so intriguing and fascinating! Terry was the most amazing storyteller and the extended tour was definitely worth it as well! We were intrigued by the EMF meters we additionally rented and the readings in some places were wild! Definitely recommend doing this, if you are brave and curious enough! Thank you Terry for being so wonderful!!
Nigel was a great tour guide. He took us all around Waiki and we learned a lot about some places that sound terrifying at night haha. Would absolutely come back and do other tours to see more of what the area has to offer.
Terry was a good host, very knowledgeable and kind. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves, however, it wasn't quite what we were expecting. Although quite informative, we expected it to be in a more isolated area with a chance to be spooked.
It was very informative but guide was an Aussie and wasn't very authentic in dealing with the stories. Still it was worthwhile trip.
Meeting point was easy to find. Guide was punctual . Great stories! Guide was very knowledgeable and interesting! Great way to spend an evening!
We followed the directions to where the guide was supposed to be and could not find him we stayed there until 20 minutes after the tour was supposed to start and not one time did guide person seek is out
Been on several such tours in the past, but this one was the best and most believable because it was “backed by history”. Waikiki has so much history of tragedy/war and death beyond the happenings of Pearl Harbor. To have ghosts-“spirits who don’t want to leave earth or can’t” there must be a reason. This tour was history packed; history that can be backed in books. Sharona was a wealth of knowledge right down to how the ghost detector works.
C'est toujours intéressant d'en apprendre plus sur une ville, surtout ces aspect cachée. Notre accompagnateur était très gentil et ses histoires étaient fascinant et surprenante. Je recommande vraiment cette petite balade guidé par les légendes.
