Hard place to find but worth it. Luckily for us, we took public transportation and got dropped off a bit away but this kind woman who we asked for directions personally brought us. If it wasn't for her, we would've been late.

I personally don’t think it was worth the money. Cool show but had long breaks of time when we were just sitting there for a hour waiting. And I asked a worker hen the how was goin start she said when they ad ready and rolled her eyes. Not very friendly
Loved the Food, Drinks, show & overall everything. They had good time slots to enjoy the food and the show.
Fantastic show one of the best I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend dinner was good but the show was fantastic.
Great experience the concert was exciting and entertaining.
The show was good, the crowd however wasnt There was a group of teenage girls who were overly loud and disrupted the whole show
Very good all around. We did the VIP package, which for us was worth it. The luau dinner buffet was very good with nice traditional entertainment. It was not weather dependent so maybe the vibe was a bit different than the truly outdoor experience. We opted for the optional Rock a Hula show, which was in a theater. Due to our VIP tix, we had great seats. The show was excellent, mixing traditional hula and flame dance with Elvis and Michael Jackson. All the entertainment was very good. If in Waikiki, it is a nice night out. We also met some very nice people.
The vip experience was wonderful. Buffet was delicious and welcome cocktail was as well. The show was just amazing. We loved the beautiful dancers and costumes. The fire guy was amazing. A must see
Where do I begin , Expedia had rave reviews, Chat GPT recommended ( highly) - overall nothing great . They tell you to come at 5:30 , it's says call and confirm , we did it asked us to confirm on website - why ? We reached on time and then the queues for the food my good ness . The Fpod was pathetic , I had a piece of medium rare steak and I choked - rubber with blood . I had to throw it out . The beautifully roasted pig was another disappointment- no flavor , but edible . Now comes the show , they send us in at 7:15 - show starts at 7:45 pm. Why am I interested in seeing a fake Elvis and MJ - caz no one tells you - may be I should have guessed it says ROCk . Very little hawaian music . 2 -3 min fire show - which was excellent. So absolute waste of 138 USD ^2 . Please go have a good dinner and see beautiful Hawaii it's mesmerizing.
Definitely not your traditional Luau. However, was a different overall experience, that was very enjoyable! The performances and performers were all great! The food was amazing!! Roast Beef, Teriyaki Chicken, Salmon, rice, and more was amazing. I will definitely recommend this to anyone on the island seeking entertainment.
I was really hoping for a lot of fun since we were celebrating my sons 21st birthday. Sadly the the experience was terrible. We arrived at our scheduled time of 5:30 p.m. When we got seated for dinner we were told our drinks were on the way. After 15 minutes of waiting I asked if we could get our drinks. After another 10 minutes they finally arrived. Unfortunately I wasn't able to drink the drink do to an allergy. I wanted to switch drinks but had to wait another 15 minutes before she got back to me. During this time the dinner portion of our evening was available to be served it was a buffet style evening. The food was pretty good however having nothing to drink while eating dinner made it difficult to enjoy. Thankfully I brought my water bottle from the hotel and at least had that. We had 3 tickets to get and extra drink but the server didnt return until it was time to leave for the show. She did say her name was Celest(?) I only know that because she wanted a review. I left that on the table. The show itself was cute. The dancers work very hard to put on a show and I appreciate that. For them they get 5 stars. Overall if I have the ability to come back for another vacation I will not be returning to this show.
The buffet dinner was really disappointing. They never cleared the plates unless you were VIP. So you had to sit there surrounded by uneaten food while the dinner entertainers performed. The food was average. The vip people got service and everyone else got pressured to buy photos. The Show after dinner was really good. I would skip the dinner and just see the show.
Extremely loud performance. Definitely not suitable for children and adults with unimpaired hearing.
Lots of fun! Great backstage experience!! Great food and entertainment!! The premium package was well worth it!
Celeste and the whole Rock-a-Hula staff were great!
This is worth the price! Lots of food and the entertainment was GREAT!
Good show good people good time.
It was an amazing. From the waiters they’re very attentive and so friendly, the food was very delicious, the guy who danced the tiny bubble was so good, the highlight was the show. The dancers, singers, the band and the fire dance was excellent. It was a magnificent show. Kudos to you guys ! Well done 🥰
We had such a fun night. Beautiful set up and very well organized. I loved the hula dancer’s entertainment through dinner. Tons of good food on the buffet. Luckily it’s covered because there was a downpour that night, but we were dry! The show did a great job of showcasing music through the years. I loved the Elvis and Michael Jackson ( he was fabulous) impersonators, but the show stayed true to the Hawaiian culture. Amazing dancers and fire show- perfect blend!
The food was really good and we had a great time during the dinner portion. We were very happy with the entertainment. They were amazing.
The attendants for the evening were exceptional, friendly, attentive and engaging. The buffet was delicious and offered a nice variety of local cuisine. The rock-a-hula show was ok; I should have carefully read the description. Would have preferred to see more authentic performers/videos. The best part of the show was the fire performer!
Our server Tulua was amazing! He’s funny and fun. The dancing was amazing - all of the hula dancers were so graceful!
That it very very hard to find, no indications on ticket where it is. Workers l in surrounding big hotels either don't know if are not willing to help you. A simple address with building B 4th floor written on it would have told everybody exactly where it was located.
The show was outstanding!! The buffet was great too and the hula dancer during the buffet was an added attraction. She was excellent!
What you see is totally unexpected!! I loved it!! The hospitality was amazing and the weather superb.
Best Bucket List Birthday Ever !! Great dinner (seafood, roast port, chicken, roast beef and lots of sides. Elvis was incredible. Great show overall and great value for the money.
Fantastic show, only dissapointment was that you ate not great with a lay. The amount the show cost, one could be provided for free. Plus $30 for a photo, is well over the top. Should be able to have just photo even digitally, without folder could be done as a much cheaper version say just $10. The Actual show and food was lovely, just those small things left a bitter taste, so to speak.
The show was great, but the food was not so great and it was too darn cold and rained at times! I could barely tolerate the cold and couldn’t get warm!
So much fun! The lush, the leis, the hula lesson and then the show which highlighted the history of music in Hawaii. The Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson impersonations were awesome. The hula dancers and fire dancers were outstanding.
Excellent show. Elvis and Michael Jackson were awesome! All the dancers were great too! We decided to go see Elvis on October 24 in Las Vegas. He’s that good!
Dinner and entertainment while eating was wonderful. Celeste was our server and she was very nice and attentive. The show after dinner was fantastic . Last time I attended a luau it was outdoors which wasn’t comfortable. This show was in an air conditioned theater, very nice. The performers were great. Highly recommended
This show is so much fun! I loved it. My husband loved it. The staff were all friendly, the food on the buffet was good but the show was awesome!
Great dinner, note worthy show and worth paying for VIP experience. The impersonators put on amazing performances that were unforgettable and unexpected!
I was very disappointed with this show because it was not what I expected based on the description and photos in the listing. It was advertised as a Rock-A-Hula show, and the photos prominently featured traditional Hawaiian hula dancing and fire performances, which led me to expect a show that incorporated Hawaiian culture and traditional performances. Instead, the majority of the show consisted of impersonators portraying Elvis and Michael Jackson. One of the Michael Jackson impersonations in particular did not resemble him at all, and I found the portrayal uncomfortable and disrespectful. Had the listing accurately represented what the show actually consisted of, I would not have booked it. The advertising created expectations that the actual performance did not meet.
If you like your luaus in a mall, then this is the luau for you! The food was fine. The performance is a Vegas impersonator show - I knew by the name there would be rock music, but I assumed they would update classic Hawaiian tunes. This was not that. The female singers and dancers were excellent and Elvis was very talented, but there may be a shortage of male dancers on Hawaii. There was no need for a Michael Jackson section of this show - he's a confrontational figure and has no real connection to Hawaii other than his tour coming through here. The location is convenient if you are staying in Waikiki, but I wish I had chosen anything other than this. More fire performers and more Moana in the show would help. Also, a better video editor to line up the vocals with what was on screen or even centering the images better would help.
My Experience I honestly don't know if words will ever be enough to describe what this experience meant to me. From the moment the show began until the very end, I was completely captivated. This wasn't simply a luau—it was an experience that touched my heart in a way I will carry with me for the rest of my life. My husband and I came to Hawaii hoping to create beautiful memories together, and Rock-A-Hula became the absolute cherry on top of our entire vacation. It was breathtaking, joyful, entertaining, emotional, exciting, and so much fun. There were moments when I found myself simply looking around and thinking, “I can't believe I'm actually here experiencing this.” The entire staff was absolutely incredible. I especially want to recognize Mamo, Emele, Alexis, Lucinda, and Tulua, who made such a beautiful impression on us. And although I unfortunately can't remember the names of every single staff member we encountered, I want every one of them to know how much we appreciated them. Every person we interacted with was kind, welcoming, professional, caring, and full of such beautiful energy. We genuinely felt welcomed and cared for throughout the entire evening. You could feel the heart and passion that everyone put into what they were doing. The music was wonderful. The performances were breathtaking. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was incredible. But what made the night truly unforgettable was the people. Their passion, joy, kindness, and love for what they do came through in every part of the experience. I am so incredibly grateful that this was part of our Hawaii vacation. There are experiences you enjoy while you're living them, and then there are experiences you know, even in the moment, that you will remember for the rest of your life. This was one of those experiences. If you have never experienced Rock-A-Hula, please go. If you're visiting Hawaii and wondering whether a luau is worth experiencing, I can tell you from my heart that this is an experience I will forever recommend. I would do this again every single time I return to Hawaii without hesitation. Rock-A-Hula now holds a very special place in my heart, and I will forever be grateful to every person who helped make that night so beautiful. Thank you, Mamo, Emele, Alexis, Lucinda, and Tulua. And thank you to every single member of the Rock-A-Hula family whose name I may not remember but whose kindness, talent, and hard work made our night unforgettable. You gave us more than a night of entertainment. You gave us a memory we will carry for the rest of our lives. ❤️🌺 Our Hawaii vacation was already filled with incredible experiences, but Rock-A-Hula became the moment that brought everything together. It was the experience that made me stop, take it all in, and feel incredibly grateful and blessed to be there. Ten out of ten doesn't even feel like enough. Mahalo from the bottom of my heart for an unforgettable night. We will be back. 🌺❤️
Food was excellent and great show . Celeste was excellent very friendly
Emele, Celeste, Tory and Alexis were so GOOD to us. The service was unequaled anywhere. They genuinely loved what they were doing and it was contagious. Everyone around us were laughing and dancing and having the time of their lives. It’s rare to go to a place filled with authentic people that only want you to have fun and enjoy everything around you. Well this was that place and these are those people. Bravo!!!!
Fantastic!! So fun. Food was great. Service was excellent. The show was outstanding! I couldn’t sit still in my seat.
This was our first time in Hawaii, and thanks to our cruise ships delay we had some extra time and chose this Luau and show. We did the VIP package. The welcome by the team was lovely, with musician Ke’ali’i singing lovely tunes. We were well served at our table and with drinks by Tahner, John and Fraser. We then had hula dancing displays and lessons from the very talented Kama, then the Luau feast. What a feast! Just superb, so much good food. We didn’t know what to expect and didn’t in fact know what the “rock” part of the title “rock a hula” even meant. The traditional Hawaiian song and dance through the years with multimedia backgrounds was superb. The fire twirling was daring and skilful. The unexpected highlight was the Elvis and Michael Jackson tribute acts. They were Los Vegas-quality, and the support band was tight. The dancers showed they also were not just skilled at Hula, it was a complete show. The only slight negative was that they deserved a bigger crowd. Maybe it was because it was a weeknight, but the theatre was only half full. We were very impressed by this show and overall experience. A definite must do for visitors
Emele,Celeste, Tory and Alexsis were so GOOD to us. The service was unequaled anywhere. They genuinely loved what they were doing and it was contagious. Everyone around us were laughing and ailing and having the time of their lives. It’s rare to go to a place filled with authentic people that only want you to have fun and enjoy everything around you. Well this was that place and these are those people. Bravo!
First trip to Hawaii. This show is a must. It was so entertaining. Between the best Elvis, Michael Jackson and fire dancer it was great. The dancers are beautiful with there cultural dances. We couldn't get enough. Beautiful show. Thanks to all.
Lucinda was truly the BEST server! She took very great care of us, making sure that myself, my boyfriend and, all of our friends were doing well. She's full of aloha and I hope that we made her night the bestest!🩷 La'a, our amazing musician, came over and asked if we were celebrating any special occasions and sang the best songs any kanaka would know. Mahalo nui!❤️ Wilma, our graceful and talented dancer! Despite being the only luau dancer, she held it down! She made sure every guests had the chance to see her performances! She also killed it at the main show!🤍 Last but not least, Johnny, our awesome and goofy host, always a kind gentleman (even though he kept messing with me and gave us the bestest seats for both the luau and show! JOHNNY IS THE GOAT!😂
Experience was great. Our table waitress Celeste was great, very attentive and satisfied all our needs in a timely matter
Lucinda was our amazing and wonderful server and she was super friendly and sweet to us, Johnny was our awesome host he was super active with us and the other guest, and I loved the show with all dancers and singers who did an amazing job
The buffet was excellent with a huge variety of food including crab legs, prime rib, and many other American and Hawaiian delicacies! All you can eat! The show was entertaining but I thought a pretty big gap of doing nothing between dinner and show time. Would recommend as a good night of entertainment and dinner.
Better than expected. Meal was good chicken and pork were good prime rib was good but tough to chew and cut. Salad was good but dressings offered not so. Show was good sort of takes you through history of Hulu dancing with a rock twist.
Great experience and the services was really great
Best show on the Island. From start to finish.
