The workers were nice. The trip as a glass boat - sadly disappointed. Happy we saw dolphins. But I saw nothing under the limited glass botormnviewinf areas. It’s just four squares. I looked frequently never saw one thing. Saw ish away from the oat for like 5 mins max. Never offered fish food to feed fish. Next time I’d rather go on another boat that’s a little longer to maybe see more. The glass bottom part of as highly disappointing. People nice. Sorry. Thanks

Reviews
I loved the boat tour but it was kind of misleading because the whole bottom was not glass. Ian and Jim were amazing. Highly recommend this tour based on the price and the service! We saw some fish and turtles but the views of the shore and the mountain was just beautiful.
The boat captains were super friendly and went out of their way to show us everything, including turning the boat around when we spotted a sea turtle so everyone got the chance to see it and take pictures. It was a beautiful tour for anyone looking to see more of Hawaii’s ocean life.
We had a relaxed and friendly crew. They are of info and history of the area. They took extensive effort in making sure we all saw each point of interest.
It was the best tour, we saw dolphins, sea turtles, fish. Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Our kids said it was the best thing!
Jim and Brandon were great, very knowledgeable and the experience was so much fun. We got very lucky and got to see a pod of spinner dolphins which was such a highlight. We also saw a turtle but they were a little shy that day. Overall very worth while and we got a great recommendation for dinner and the food was amazing. Thanks Jim and Brandon !
Excellent experience!!! Viewed the reef through the glass. Saw turtles, Aha fish, yellow Tang, and more!!! Great view of the Island from the water!!!
It was a nice ride around the area but we never stopped anywhere to look in the small glass boxes. Just cruised around
It was a great excursion. The weather was perfect. The "captain" was knowledgeable with a fun personality. The background music was full of great selections. Had a great time.
Great hosts/guides, beautiful view of coastline, lots of fish, boat wasn't overcrowded so we could all take turns viewing the glass bottom port.
This was basically a boat tour of the Waikiki area. We enjoyed it, however nothing we saw was through the glass-bottom boxes on the boat. We did get to see spinner dolphins, some fish (that we fed to attract to us) and a couple of sea turtles. When I think of a glass-bottom boat, I think we'll get to see lots of sea life under the boat, maybe even a coral reef area. Everything we saw was on the surface. The guides were great at helping spot wildlife and very friendly. If we recommended this to a friend, we would make sure they understood that the glass bottom part really wasn't needed.
Staff was awesome and water beautiful. But we did not see but a few turtles (5-6), school of black fish and 1 long fish about 20” long. Nothing showed in the glass bottom boat.
Great crew, we saw turtles, fish and dolphins!! Short trip, but well worth the money. Would book again
Great experience. We got to see turtles, fish and spinner dolphins! Captains were engaging and fun. We enjoyed seeing Diamond Head from a different perspective.
Our Captains were very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw fish, turtles and a whole pod of spinner dolphins
Good value for your money. The tour was amazing and our guide was so great that my husband gave him a hug!
Awesome experience! Jim & Cam were so knowledgeable and friendly! Enjoyed the sites and saw plenty of fish and turtles!
Great host and very beautiful surroundings. Perfect summer weather and great sightings. I would have loved for it to be longer
Ian and Jim were amazing. We had beautiful weather and views. We saw dolphins and sea turtles. Nice quick trip and fun activity for the afternoon.
Crew was friendly and it was an awesome experience to go out and see marine life and learn about the island.
Don't expect to see fish through the bottom. But do expect a lovely ocean trip with great captains and storytelling. You can feed the fish off the side, and probably see a turtle or two. They said dolphins or seals maybe, but not on our trip. Great views of Diamond Head, fresh breeze! Well worth the $46.
My family truly enjoyed the tour and vibe. Can’t go wrong with Brandon and Austin. Thank you for a great time, tour, and vibe!!! We will definitely be back for another tour when we’re back on the island. Mahalo ❤️
Guides were very friendly and great. Boat wasn’t what I was expecting. I’ve been on a true glass bottom boat and this was not one. Only reason I am giving a good review is because of the tour guides
It was fun and the person had a lot of info. I would bring more people next time. Very happy I took the trip
Loved it! Perfect overview of Honolulu from the water with ocean creatures and great guides with a sprinkle of history and marine life knowledge all in 1 Hour!
We had a great experience. Captains Ian and Brandon were very friendly and informative. We were fortunate to see turtles, dolphins and a lot of fish.
Super fun and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. We didn’t see much on our tour, but that’s not the tour guides fault. One thing to note is that the “glass bottom” is just four squares on the boat and not the entire bottom of the boat. This bothered one guy on our trip, but I just looked over the edge of the boat and I saw all the fish and the one turtle that the people looking at the glass bottoms could see, so I wasn’t really bothered.
This is was a fun adventure. The captain was nice and funny. Saw some cool fish. Don’t see much with the glass bottom bit it’s still cool To see the reef and some of the fish. We saw a lot of fish off the side of the boat and saw some turtles at a distance. The info they give is pretty cool too. Wish it was a longer tour!
Austin and Jim were great hosts and informative. Got to see sea turtles and tropical fish. Didn’t get to see dolphins or sea lions this time around. Last year we did the tour in November and this year in October.
The crew and local administration are incompetent, completely unprofessional, and refuse to listen. Think twice before booking - they rely strictly on canned scripts and do not care about customer service. We arrived 30 minutes early with our 3-year-old todler. 15 minutes prior departure, the only remaining space on board was completely exposed to the direct sun. When I asked the desk staff ("Ostin") if there were shaded seats or cancellation options, he immediately crossed our names off the manifest without our consent. There were still 7 minutes until departure, and I explicitly told him we would take the boat anyway rather than lose the trip. He flatly refused to let us board. He repeatedly interrupted me, talked over my explanations, and mechanically recited that we would get no refund due to the 24-hour cancellation policy. We did not cancel—we were locked out simply for asking a question about shade for a toddler. Avoid this operator.
The boat was old and the seats were metal benches. Saw only a few turtles and no other marine life. The glass bottom is a misnomer because the glass bottoms were enclosed in a small raised metal rectangle.
The two guides we had were awesome! The tour was so fun and we got to see fish, turtles dolphins and amazing scenery!
Great tour but the guide Ian kept ‘reminding’ us to tip at the end. Then as we were settling back to the pier he pointed out his QR code and said to the group, ‘please don’t scan my code unless you’re really going to tip me’! How rude and tacky. The company should talk to him about this behavior.
The experience was fun! The hosts were great filled with knowledge, experience and humor! Would recommend!
It was so nice and relaxing! And we got to see turtles, fish and some dolphins raced us! The hosts Brandon and Austin were incredible.
The guys were great unfortunately we didn’t see anything but the boat ride was amazing. The water is so blue seeing the island from the water was nice. The captain gave us lots of information that was nice. Very friendly and relaxing boat ride.
Both Pilots and boat operator was funny, honest and had attempt to show the passengers good part of the trip. However, I only saw 2 turtles' neck for a glamps of an eye. No delphine was visible. I saw lots of fish. glass bottom idea was a title, you may not see much through the hole and in case any, nothing is so clear. The trip on the water was great. Enjoyed in the cool breezy air, water and view that comes with it.
We saw turtles and dolphins and all kinds of fish. It was AMAZING!!! 100% recommend. It a was very gorgeous day.
Nice ride on the boat with a fun Captain and first mate. But you don’t sit at the glass bottom, you look down into it. So they shouldn’t call it a glass bottom boat tour. But we enjoyed it.
A fun hour out in a boat! Fun to see Waikiki from the water. We saw turtles and dolphins and ele’ele fish. The two skippers were nice and professional. The glass bottom part of the boat wasn’t used at all; everything we saw was on the surface. Didn’t matter; refreshing ocean breeze and a nice boat ride. I recommend this company. p.s. one the two skippers recommended a lunch place that turned out to be very good! Tip: we were able to find parking and easily paid for it on our phone. Used the bathroom at the nearby park but there is an onboard bathroom
It was a nice boat ride, but you don't really see a whole lot and the bottom of the boat is not actually glass, just a few cutout sections for you to look down into. The tour guides were the best part, they were fantastic!
I was on this tour earlier in the week while my husband was working and it was great. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted my husband to enjoy it too. However, the 4:00 tour with Captains Tristan and Ian was awful! It was reckless as well. The two Captains talked to each other the entire cruise. They told us nothing about the culture or sea life. They did tell us on 4 occasions how we could tip them but nothing else. They took us out to this spot where blackfish swarm, threw food out and that was the only time they engaged with us. On several occasions they weren’t even at the boat controls, but engaged in conversation off to the side. They looked at their cellphones and truly neglected the safety of and enjoyment of the passengers. This boat was from Leah’s Voyager. The cruise I took earlier in the week that was much better was from Glass Bottom Boat Company. For safety and peace of mind I would try to find out which local company is offering the tour before you participate. I wish I knew how to post the photos of the Captains engaged in conversation and looking at their phones.
This is great way to get out on the beautiful blue waters of Oahu and learn a little about the culture. Perhaps you will see some sea life, but there is no guarantee. I went on this 11:45 cruise which lasted about an hour. The Captain, I can’t remember his name, maybe Bill, was wonderful. He has been on Oahu for 40 years, originally from Michigan and a great tour guide. He shared so much history about Oahu, pointed out landmarks, shared history, told us about sea life and gave us a wonderful tour. He made sure we enjoyed the tour.
You might see fish or sea mammals in the glass bottoms. We didn't see any. We did see a few fish on the side and 2 turtles. Other sites like Diamond Head and the beaches with surfers was good. Be prepared to not be wowed.
Amazing experience. We were a family of 3 the baby was happy too watching the fish. We enjoyed our time.
Tour guide and crew were very welcoming and knowledgeable, keeping the guest entertained. Tour was kid/family friendly!
It was the best experience ever! Our family absolutely loved it! We got to see dolphins, sea turtles, and tons of humuhumu fish. This tour is perfect for kids and anyone who prefers to keep their feet dry. Will surely recommend my friends.
Good trip I recommend 👌 👍 you can walk around boat take your pictures and enjoy the trip and guide nice person
Being in the open air and looking at the beautiful blue water was amazing? I took my grandson who’s 13 years old with me, we had a blast!!!!
Great morning. We saw turtles, got to feed fish, had photos near Diamond Head, looked at a shipwreck and saw sea urchins and small fish as well. Captains Ian and Jim were fabulous outgoing people. Probably the only con would be no shade whilst waiting to board.
