We had a lot of fun on the Friday Fireworks Boat Cruise. Our family really enjoyed it. The people on the boat were very friendly and helpful.

I had bad experience with the fireworks cruise because me and my wife could not get there. I was getting parking went cruise.

I highly recommend this sunset + fireworks cruise in Honolulu! The complementary Mai tais and beautiful sunset views were spectacular. The fireworks at the end of the cruise made it so special during our stay in Oahu. The only con I have is the check in was a bit confusing- we couldn’t locate the correct line for our cruise. There were multiple fireworks cruises boarding at the same time and the signage was not there to guide us. We were standing in the wrong line and almost missed the cruise! Thankfully, we made it :).

Had a WONDERFUL trip to watch the Friday night fireworks. Was a great trip and I would recommend it to everyone visiting!

We were fifteen minutes late leaving the dock due to a few late arrivals. We were back at the dock earlier than promoted on the website. Only one restroom was working for over 100 passengers. Seating was limited outside.

Not appropriate for children. It was a much shorter round trip than advertised. The crew waited fifteen minutes past the scheduled departure. Only one working head for over 100 passengers.

Very fun experience! If you’re looking for a Friday night cruise to experience the fireworks, this is the right business to choose. Sunset views, fireworks and the best view of the island.

Music was good and the operators were very friendly and entertaining. They also served drinks which was unexpected.

Boarding was prompt at 6:30p but that’s where the fun ended. The boat proceeded to the viewing spot moving as slowly as it possibly could. The movement was so slow the boat rolled from side to side the whole time. Even at this slow pace we were there in 30 minutes. If it was going at a normal speed, we would have been there in about 7 to 8 minutes. And then we just sat there for 45 minutes until the fireworks began. The fireworks were wonderful but are only 5 minutes long, after which we headed back to the dock. Arrived at 8pm, not the 2 hour cruise as promised. The crew were very upbeat and friendly and they did offer free small pours of Mai Tais and small bagged snacks. But really, small compensation for a disappointing tour.

Very fun. The crew did a great job. Johnny worked hard to make sure everyone was happy. We took fireworks cruise which was more on the relaxing side. They do offer many options for day cruising. Highly recommend.

The boat cruise was fine. I think the fireworks are better viewed from the beach. We paid the advertised amount through tripadvisor. In the fine print, sent to us after booking, was information regarding an additional fuel surcharge per passenger. Seems like a really silly way to make a little more money. I would suggest putting that information in bold on the initial booking page.

This was a great cruise. It was great seeing sunset, cruising the Honolulu coast, then perfect position for the fireworks. Boat was a good size with lots of space for everyone. Crew was friendly and competent. Easy to find. Good value for the price. Highly recommend.

The sunset portion of the cruise was canceled with no notice. We arrived to go on the sunset cruise and informed that we would be leaving an hour later than planned and only see fireworks for 5 minutes. We canceled as did many others who were equally frustrated to have been misled. We did request a full refund.

Fantastic experience! Easy to find, quick check in, on time boarding! Great, attentive crew… saw spectacular sunset on the water! Great perspective of all the high rise buildings and resorts from the water! Happy, social passengers and good music on board! Stunning views of Diamond Head at sunset. The fantastic fireworks show capped off this adventure with a bang! Highly recommend!!

its a good experienced, the only thing is too long hanging on the ocean to watch a 5 minute fireworks.

A lot better explanation on location of meeting location spent 2 hrs walking around never located so totally lost out on event I only wish you had. Booking stated there would be no $7 fuel surcharge yet I was charged $14 for both my friend and I at check-in AND it also stated that there would be an underwater viewing room to see marine life below, there wasn’t !

We kept hearing that the best way to watch the Friday fireworks was from the water. Viator had a great option with Go Hawaii Watersports on a catamaran. We arrived at the dock about 6 pm and the line to the check-in was very long. It was no fault of GHW; it was because nobody ready a freaking email fully anymore. They had to complete their waivers at the dock instead of prior. Okay, enough of that. We were ushered down the dock to this lovely boat. There were numerous dem hands to help us on board. We grabbed a seat up top. Although the website suggested BYOB, quickly the captain advised all the drinks and snacks were free! A There were Mai Tias and various soft drinks as well as bagged sweet and salty snacks. Hard to believe they could do this for such a reasonable price. The entire crew was great! They took customer pictures and delivered Mai Tais and snacks, even on the upper deck as the boat bobbed in the water. The tour did not disappoint. There was a beautiful sunset and we could see the city and Diamond Head in the distance. The night turned into a family party with everyone laughing and chatting with each other and the crew. And no joke - it was the place to see the fireworks. So good from that angle. Wonderful end to end. Use Go Hawaii Watersports for this and any other watersport needs. You even get a 20% discount on future bookings!

The crew was very friendly and accommodating. The boat was not crowded which made the fireworks able to be seen. We loved the experience!

It’s honestly meant for anyone who does have seasick problems. Though it’s byob and kids around it doesn’t feel like it’s a bad mix. Everyone was having a good time, the friend groups, families, even the solo riders were having a great time. I went into this blindly and had the best experience. Staff was great. They gave out free snacks, drinks, and soda.

Nice boat ride. Fireworks ok as well. The waiver info just seems a bit over the top but i get it. Also be simpler to just raise the price by $7 vs getting there and having to run credit cards for all your guests

We had an amazing time with Go Hawaii Watersports! Although we left a few minutes late due to final check-ins (there were about 50 of us or a little more), it was completely understandable. The boat was super clean, the staff was absolutely amazing, and they even offered complimentary snacks. They took music requests and really set a fun vibe—some of the staff even came down and danced with us! The fireworks went off beautifully, and the young crew was very knowledgeable and professional. Out of 10, I honestly give them a 12. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting!

The crew was great! Very friendly and engaging. Drinks were flowing. Appeared to be mostly people in their 20s and 30s. Maybe 2 kids. Rest were all adults.

Got invited to this boat cruise by a friend and let me tell you it was an amazing experience! It was just just perfect time to see sunset before we sailed out. I’m hoping to take this cruise again in a summer time when sun goes down a little later and we can see sunset and fireworks all from the boat! People on the boat were super sweet! I remember names Nick and Marlee. They have bar that you can purchase drinks from and I’m pretty sure u can bring ur own food there but not sure if they are planning on serve food in a future. But they do have a snack bar for purchase. Boat is really roomy had 2 floors with seating areas and the bottom floor has a window that you can see into the ocean. Very clean and cozy. 2 restrooms on the boat. Fireworks were amazing and seeing it from the boat is totally a different experience. Highly recommend!!! Thank you guys for a fun night!

This was our second cruise with these folks that we took this week. The first was the whale watch. In both cases the ship was outstanding with plenty of space to move around. No problem seeing whales or fireworks. What sets this company apart is the crew. These are some of the nicest people I have ever ridden with. They really take care of you and make sure the cruise is safe, and fun. The view of the fireworks against the nighttime city lights is beautiful.

My friends and I decided to watch the fireworks from the water. This cruise was recommended to me as an unforgettable experience. The 2-hour cruise took us a little way off from Waikiki, where we enjoyed a stunning sunset. Seeing the sunset and fireworks from the water was truly magical! The crew was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. At one point, they played music on board, which was pleasant and not too loud. I'm sensitive to loud music I don't like, but on the upper deck, the sound was almost unnoticeable. Meanwhile, on the lower deck, people were dancing and having a great time. The fireworks show itself was amazing! I took a lot of photos and videos, capturing the beauty of the moment from the water. Another highlight was the boat’s glass-bottom feature. It was my first time on such a boat, and we even saw a turtle swimming beneath us through the glass.

The cruise was worth the price in our estimation. The captain and crew were very informative, and gladly answered all of our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed both the cruise and the fireworks show. The Tripadvisor emailed information provided incorrect information on the meeting location. Fortunately the cruise company left a bit late, waiting for some customers to arrive.

Before the trip, I went to Walmart to find something for my motion sickness and decided to buy natural ginger capsules instead of Dramamine. I took them 30 minutes before we set sail, and during the trip, I used the topical oil MotionEaze, which worked in minutes—much to my surprise. The combination was very effective, and I didn’t experience any discomfort, making the trip a success. I loved the second deck of the catamaran with its 360-degree views. We caught a bit of the sunset, and after nightfall, it was a true joy to admire the Honolulu skyline—absolutely beautiful. The fireworks were pretty awesome, and my friends and I had a blast. The staff was very attentive, providing soft drinks and chips throughout. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

We were scheduled to leave at 530pm to see the sunset but left late well past 630pm so no sunset! The crew waited for a friend so that delayed us. The Captain never once explained why we were late and never apologized for what happened, she had her deck hands apologize for her. The captain also told us the we would leave harbor and head down towards Diamondhead to see the Waikiki light up as the sunset but since we left late and didn't see the sunset all we did was drive around in circles waiting for the fireworks. Additionally, they served alcoholic drinks but for the life of me I have never had a Mai Tai made with coke???? They had the premixed Mai Tai but added coke.... I won't be using their services again. Viator should refund me money for this trip. It was supposed to be a romantic Valentines day trip but it was a joke!
