Waikiki Fireworks Dinner Cruise: Sail & Sparkle On Friday Nights

No review is our experience was canceled due to emergency with boat captain. It was one of only a few excursions we booked and we're really looking forward to doing in celebration of our 10 yr anniversary.

We took an Uber to the experience and we were expected to board 15 minutes before the boat is scheduled to leave. The boat was late to board and we waited at the dock for about 20 minutes. Once the boat finally arrived someone from the crew informed us that the captain had a medical emergency. While this is very unfortunate and we hope he is well, it is very unprofessional of the company to have no plan in a case like this. An extremely special night was canceled and we will not be in Hawaii long enough to reschedule. Not to mention the Ubers we had to pay for to get there and back. Two stars since they offered us the food from the catering and a drink which was a kind gesture but who knows if we’ll ever be able to have this experience now.

These guys are freaking awesome. Extremly knowledgeable about the island and surrounding areas. Even told us what planet was in view.I would definitely go again. Bring cash for tip money!! They are certainly worth it.

This was not at all what I thought it was when I booked it. You do not need to dress up for this and definitely dont wear your nice shoes since they dont let you take your shoes anyways. Thinking about wearing a dress? Dont. A simple bathing suit and cover up would be just fine. You also will need to eat real dinner either before you go or after you go. This is more like being in a bar but on a boat. If I had known in advance, I wouldn't have booked it. It was $300 and definitely not mine or my husband's scene. We sat on the back quietly the entire time. The music was loud, the boat was small which made everyone else seem louder and the fireworks may have lasted 3 minutes at the very end of the cruise. Im not saying dont do it by any means but you should at least know what youre doing before you spend that kind of money on it.

The tour was hosted by 2 captains and a small crew. We were welcomed with great hospitality and took the time to explain how sailing was done by the stars 🌟 excellent crew excellent ship 🚢 excellent time. The firework show was like the icing on the cake. If you decide to book this tour, there is one more surprise that you will get. But you have to be there. Aloha and Mahalo.

We were really disappointed with the dinner provided. Thought it would be more of a buffet style. Was also expecting a different type of boat. Crew was great!

Very friendly crew and a smooth ride. Our captain did his best to get us near an unexpected breaching whale at the end of the season and we still made it in position to see the lovely fireworks.

Excellent, crew was top notch and bonus we saw whales breaching! Food and drinks were fantastic. Fireworks view was fabulous.

They left without us and refused to offer even a partial refund. Nowhere in the materials they sent did they mention arriving 20 minutes early.

We booked this excursion for a romantic night on the sea with a beautiful view of the fireworks. We got so much more than that, the crew saw whales breaching and sped off to get closer so we could all see! It was an amazing experience that I highly recommend! Did I also mention free drinks??

Start with the food, very nice but the size was that of a 5 star dining experience. Entire mud cake piece would fit on a parfait spoon easily, laughable. 3 course snack sizes & tickets not cheap. Theme was not carried through out the night. Each spoke a little of their skills, then 1 only 10min visit to our table, not as advertised. Needed to have other things going on while eating. Due a card, color etc etc. Disappointing night for what we both had resumed from what we read we would our experience.

This was a great excursion. The crew was very accommodating and professional. The views were very exhilarating and intriguing.

We actually did three tours with Hawaii nautical. Started with the whale watching in the morning, then snorkeling with sea turtles, finishing the night with the dinner cruise. The staff was awesome (same all day) and very fun to hang out with and chat with. We luckily were able to see a whale shark which made the evening that little bit more special, but enjoyed even hearing the safety briefing 3 times as captain chris put a funny spin on ch time. If you have the chance, don’t waste your time looking at other options, go with these guys, same staff or not they are the best choice.

The crew (Chris Nicole and ...) were lovely, the drinks were good and the fireworks (though brief) were great. The food however was not worth the money and difficult to eat.

Wear slip on shoes. Bring a light jacket. Plenty of tip money It was a very good time would recommend it to all.

Not much of a dinner, but drinks were o.k. Firework show was good and had a great viewing location on the water.

Well kept boat and friendly crew. An enjoyable length of about 2 hours. The captain positioned us very well to view the Friday fireworks. The meal and drinks were very good. Would do this tour again.

Horrible customer service. No notice regarding pick up time not adequate location info and NO pickup up time given only time on ticket. No contact from anyone they don’t care!

Great evening fireworks cruise. Not a sunset cruise. Awesome boat captain and staff. A great trip overall!

Very nice experience with great crew! Everything was amazing and the sunset was gorgeous! We would recommend this cruise to anybody visiting Hawaii

Beautiful evening on the water. Awesome job by captain Chris and his crew. Fireworks were great. Food was ok . Beef ,chicken & fish over rice . Was good but would have been better if still warm.

What a fun experience! It was easy to find inexpensive parking right at the pier. The crew, Greta and Natalie, were friendly and welcoming and happy which made the adventure great. Captain Chris, who they also call Captain Topher even though he goes by Chris, was witty, but most importantly a very safe catamaran pilot throughout the darkened harbor after sunset. He maneuvered us perfectly to watch the Friday night fireworks. The fireworks lasted maybe 5 to 10 minutes and was spectacular! The drinks were good and the bento box type food was tasty and also I felt much more sanitary than a buffet. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and felt it was worth the money! Do it! It was a rather smooth ride (it's the biggest catamaran) and I never got the slightest bit seasick in the middle of the boat.

The dinner & fireworks cruise with Hawaii Nautical was excellent. My family really enjoyed the food, beverages and breathtaking views. Also, the crew was extremely kind and provided outstanding hospitality. We loved the fireworks and the music. This is one activity you must do while in Hawaii.

Great way to cap off an evening out or to start a later night experience. Capt Chris and crew was engaging and made the trip relaxing.

The crew was great and very accommodating. The light bento meal was very good as well as the drinks. One of my daughters started to not feel well and they came to her rescue with some essential oil and ginger ale. We had beautiful views and were in the perfect spot when the fireworks went off. Our other daughter actually got engaged when the fireworks starting going off. Everyone on board, crew and passengers were awesome. Definitely a tour worth going on.

Great crew!!!! But this was a party boat not dinner cruise…. Food out of box is not a Dinner Cruise.. Don’t get dress up This is a Catamaran. U have to take off shoes to board. Great Crew drinks was strong but again not a Dinner Cruise!!!

A great sunset cruise experience! Captain Topher and crew Greta & Nat really took care of us. The sail out took good advantage of the wind & waves. Once out we had great views of the coast and positioning for the fireworks. The food & beverages were satisfying and generously portioned. The only drawback was transportation back to our hotel, the contracted driver forgot to pick us up. A quick call from our great crew got us another driver quickly.

We had a beautiful time and loved loved loved the scenery, it wasn’t packed with people so we didn’t feel cramped at all which was nice! Loved the music, loved the workers, the ONLY thing that happened that was unfortunate was that my partner ended up throwing up due to the rocking of the boat because of the waves which we still had a good time and I catered to him the whole time until we got off which he was very relieved once that happened haha, anyways overall we had a good experience and would still do it again! ALSO LOOOOOVED THE FIREWORK SHOW!!

Wonderful experience and beautiful sunset. The view of the island from the water was amazing. Crew were professional, pleasant and fun. Food and drinks were good.

Was a lovely evening on a Catamaran that went out to Diamond Head and back along the Coast for fabulous skyline and sunset vistas. Crew were very professional and the food and drinks were as described.

The event was canceled, due to high winds! It was my wife's 50th birthday! We're visiting from Texas!

Beautiful experience. My wife loved everything about it and it helped her get over her fear of the ocean.

Staff was very friendly and tried to accommodate everyone on board. Boat ride was super fun and beautiful views especially the sunset. Food was great and the drinks were super.

It was ok… the crew was amazing. They explained the trip, kept everyone engaged and were very hospitable. The fireworks lasted 3 min, and headed back to dock at top speed immediately after the fireworks were over. It was a great way to top off our vaca in Oahu. The food was rice and proteins— not great. Don’t believe the pictures and expect a nice meal….

All around incredible experience! The captain and crew were very accommodating. Our party of 9 ranged in ages from 3 to 66 and we all had a fantastic time. Excellent views of the sunset and fireworks.

I rated the experience low because I booked based off of a travelers posted photos. This traveler posted photos of what looks like a luau on the boat and a plate of lobster for dinner on this fireworks cruise. That is not what I received on my experience. We got the boat and captain had a very welcoming welcome to everyone. He told us to grab our dinner which was contained in to go trays on the table. Although, the food was tasty, it was cold and needed to warmed up. The cruise itself was a nice ride and we enjoyed the 20min fireworks show of his lovely boat. The experience was not worth $175 unfortunately.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon to the islands for the first time and we heard there were fireworks every Friday night. We immediately booked this tour and it was so much fun! The boat is built for trips like this. Huge area to hangout at up top and a full bar with restrooms and places to sit in the cabin. The crew was so awesome and helpful. This trip really was worth it. Definitely would do it again.

From the attentive, friendly crew to the beautiful, well maintained ship the experience was an amazing night. Plenty of food and drink for everyone on board. The views from the water and the fireworks were just incredible. Highly recommend his event.

Very upbeat and the guys were friendly and on time for everything which is a big plus for me. Food was good too!

Was advertised to us at the hilton as a dinner cruise with tables.. upon arrival was clearly not as described. Few tables leaving us standing with poor / low quality steak, dry Chinese style chicken, noodles tossed in oil and other random items you pick up at costco. Crew was very kind and helpful, as they had to be with many people falling over due to low seat availability. Challenging trip.. cutting steak while standing up with a plastic fork! As I said, booze cruise..not dinner cruise.

Lovely service from the car there, the actual ride, and the car back. The amazing Jackson and Kira were wonderful to have. We thank y’all for the amazing time and recommend y’all to everyone in Texas.

We enjoyed the night. Great way to see Waikiki from the water. Enjoying food, drink, the scenery and fireworks as the grand finale. Staff was exceptional and took great care of everyone during the cruise. Would have no qualms recommending them to anyone looking for a fun evening.
