Waikiki Beach Sunset Sail On Ke Kai Catamaran

This was a fun way to watch the sunset. The crew is so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. This was our 2nd time with this company.

Great time on a cloudy afternoon. The vibes vibed a little too hard 😂 but the crew were all very nice and accommodating for those of us having too much fun and those who felt the sea rocking. Will definitely do it again on my visit to the island.

The crew was fantastic! Kyle did an excellent job of using his college degree and his mother should be proud. DJ Stevie had it locked in and JJ kept us on the waves. Team yellow and purple is the best crew on two hulls.

Took my two teens on this sunset catamaran cruise. They had the best time. The crew was amazing. If you are stay in Waikiki at a main hotel, this is easy to locate. You will not need an Uber to a harbor, but right infront of Duke's! Highly recommend.

The crew was fantastic and the cruise itself was wonderful. It was as advertised and completely enjoyable; low key and relaxing. Plus booking through Viator just makes things so simple.

We had a wonderful sunset sail! The staff was friendly and helpful. The boat was sold out but it did not feel crowded. There was still plenty of room to move around freely. It was a beautiful evening!

Wow!! What a ride. The crew was wonderful. The boat was so very well maintained. We had so much fun and the sunset was beautiful!!

The boat ride was super fun!! Open bar, great music, and beautiful views of Waikiki. One thing though - you will get soaking wet. We did not anticipate that, that’s why it’s getting 4/5 stars. Had we known, we would’ve dressed more accordingly and it would’ve been 5/5. But would definitely recommend.

Not a good experience! We booked a sunset sail and could not make it on time as there was severe flash flooding and the roads had been closed. We explained our situation to them and they offered to rebook to another day but unfortunately it was our last day there. We received a partial refund which wasn’t much, very disappointed with the whole situation. It should not matter if the booking was made on a third party site, the tour operator is responsible for providing the full refund.

First, my Good Review. A FUN experience, amazing views, excitement with ocean water spashes, and the cocktails non-stop. Catamaran Crew of the Ke Kai were terrific. Second, my critical review. Confusion on boarding. There are 2 Catamarans that go out simultaneously. Received confirmation from Trip Advisor that payment processed and the Catamarans were Ke Kai and Na Hoku 3. Nothing definitive on confirmation email for which Catamaran our tickets (2) were on so we stood in the line that formed, got to one of the crew who said we were NOT on the Roster that he was checking peoples names off for Na Koku 3. I asked about the other Catamaran and he said, "They're Full." He didnt even go over to the other Catamaran crew to ask. I pressed and he called "The Home Office" who told him that the problem was with Trip Advisor using a third party payment process (i.e., Viator) and that I should have booked directly with their company not Trip Advisor. There was nothing he could do, Coast Guard only allows 50 people to board and I'd have to call Viator tomorrow for refund. Needless to say I was upset as it was our last night in Waikiki and I booked the reservation over a month ago. Pissed, I walked the 12 ft over to the other Catamaran Ke Kai and the crew member said, "You're on our list!" Frustration would have been avoided if the crew member of the Na Hoku 3 had just walked over to his coworkers catamaran to inquire about our reservation. If the Coast Guard is concerned about safety of people taking these rides both catamarans should have a roster list of all 100 people on these vessels especially as they sail simultaneously! Not the crews fault but a management foul squared. Thankfully we boarded Ke Kai and had a terrific time. All I can say about that crew member of Na Hoku 3 holding the clipboard roster list is that he was NOT helpful, couldn't bother walking 12 ft to Ke Kai to determine what was a potential confusion and was just rude.

It was a wonderful experience and a fun atmosphere.

Beautiful night and a strong breeze. Captain Jerry took us out further than I imagined the cruise would include, so we saw a lot of shoreline in the short time of the trip. Diamond Head and all of Waikiki were beautiful from our vantage point. A fun party playlist accompanied the voyage, and energetic deckhands kept everybody's glasses full and the single female passengers enthused. My wife and I really had a nice time. The occasional wave over the bow and warm splashes kept things unpredictable and questioned how we'd look for our exotic dinner reservations after returning to the beach. Beautiful sunset, and the captain left plenty of time after the fast paced sail to troll around Waikiki, and he positioned us optimally to watch the orange hues through the sun's final moments of th eday.

Very fun hour and a half sunset sail with open bar. Just long enough. Beware, we got soaked!! Wear swimsuits!

This was an amazing time!!! My cousins, siblings and I had so much fun with the Guys Kyle and A. Drinks were great and flowing. We danced the whole way. MUST EXPERIENCE THIS TIME. And do it with good people

This is a must do! There are 2 catamaran options lunch and sunset, trust do the sunset!! Worth the money! One of the highlights of the trip! Wonderful views! The crew was amazing with open bar! Be cautions to wear clothes that can get wet especially if you sit next to the water! It can get very refreshing! Bring sunglasses and sunscreen! Also finding the location is very easy once you reach the beach you’ll see signs and the catamarans arriving about 15 min prior to boarding time big and yellow!

Rough seas but the crew made it smooth sailing...all 3 team members assured that everyone was comfortable and there to make the absolute best time possible! Many large groups and couples...great time had by all due to an experienced and engaging crew....and remember, they work for tips....so chip in for their hard work and attention to detail.

The crew was friendly, fun, and made everyone feel welcome from the moment we stepped aboard. Sailing along the beautiful Waikiki coastline while watching the sun slowly set over the Pacific Ocean was breathtaking. The views of Diamond Head, the sparkling water, and the Honolulu skyline were unforgettable and made for incredible photos. The atmosphere was relaxing yet lively, with great music, refreshing drinks, and an upbeat island vibe. If you’re looking for a memorable way to experience Waikiki, I highly recommend this sunset sail. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, with friends, or solo, it’s the perfect way to unwind and take in the beauty of Hawaii. I’d do it again in a heartbeat! The captain and staff were the best bartenders and hosts.

The whole ride was so fun. The boat staff is so professional. The view is insane and the fireworks were a huge bonus. We always use this boat company when we come to Waikiki.

Great sunset cruise with an awesome crew! Zach, Stevie, and Captain Noah were all amazing! Lots of drink choices for all to enjoy throughout the boat trip. They make it fun and enjoyable but be cautious- there’s a good chance you’ll get wet!

Great way to experience Waikiki from the offshore vantage point. Awesome views of Diamond Head! The crew was extremely friendly and helpful. If there’s a bit of surf - you will get wet - so dress accordingly. Good vibes, gorgeous sunset, great value for the price!

Over the top fun! We were a group of 5, from age 21 to 68, and we all had a blast! The crew was high energy and attentive. There were lots of boats out there but I’m certain we were having the best experience. At first we all sat in our seats but by the end we were all over the ship. We met lots of others including singles and a couple that had gotten engaged earlier that day. The thrill of getting picked up and dropped off on the beach was cool too.

This was just wonderful. I had so much fun dancing with everyone. The music was perfect, the crew was absolutely amazing and so hospitable. They made sure we were having an amazing time. 10/10 would recommend!!!!
