Volcanoes, Beaches And Waterfall Highlights Private Guided Tour

Our guide was truly impressive. From start to finish, her energy and enthusiasm enhanced the “Deluxe Volcano and Stargazing Experience” from “Show You Hawaii,” increasing our excitement about the volcano tours. I could not recall her name, but she led the tour for hours and did not stop or miss a beat. The trip was a family outing, and we were all deeply grateful to have her as our guide. Can't wait to come back!

It was an amazing day! We went to the national park and all these amazing small spots we wouldn’t have found on our own! Bryon was the highlight of the tour though! He had an answer and joke for every question from our whole group! They fed us lunch and gave us plenty of wine! The highlight was really when Bryon wanted to take a picture with our travel buddy parka!

Our tour started in Hilo and included visits to beautiful waterfalls and a black sand beach complete with a resting sea turtle. But the highlight of our day was seeing Kilauea in action. Our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Brian, introduced us to the best viewing points, some Hawaiian volcano history and legends, and even some local botany. What an amazing day!

Brian was an unbelievable tour guide. His knowledge of the island, its history, people, culture, language, geology and more educated us about so much. We had an incredible day! The sights were gorgeous and the stories behind them made them meaningful. Thank you!!

Alex was the best tour director we have had in Hawaii, knowledgeable, full of energy and enthusiasm. HE made it fun!

Alex was an incredible tour guide giving us the most authentic Hawai’i tour. He’s passionate about his culture and loves sharing it with us. We got the inside scoop about the island history, landscape, and the local food.

Kelson does a great job and knows his history. Very pleasant personality and most importantly a safe driver!! You can tell he enjoys his job.

Alex was fantastic. He is native to the islands and was extremely knowledgeable. He shared a lot of gems from his native culture to help you understand the islands and the volcanos. He is friendly, funny, engaging and draws you in. He blew a conch shell to draw us back to himself and was always clear in his directions. I would highly recommend any tour where he is the guide.

Rainbow falls is beautiful. We are lucky enough that Kilauea was near eruption sputtering lava. Lava tube was cool. Macadamia nut was neat. Trip advisors description is inaccurate we did not have a beach but it wasn't part of what we booked so it's fine.

I think our tour guide was Matt I can’t remember. Big Hawaiian dude that works for the school district and was the most informative guide and also helped us see the volcano for Event 51. Couldn’t have had a better guide! Highly recommended.

This was the most wonderful experience! I feel like in one day I got to see so much of the incredible nature that the Big Island had to offer. Alex was a fantastic tour guide. He was so personable and a wealth of knowledge. He was also super accommodating to all requests from the group. I didn’t feel rushed and was able to take in some incredible sites. Our guide Alex was excellent. We visited the black sand beach, a coffe shop and the Volcanoes. National Park. Alex was very knowledgeable.

This private tour was awesome!! Dave was the BEST tour guide, he knows everything about the island and regaled us with fascinating facts as he showed us around. He was super accommodating to our group with small children and grandparents and made the stops work for our needs. If you’re travelling with a larger group, a private tour is definitely the way to go. We went swimming at Two-Step, ate delicious food at the bakery, saw the black sand beaches, and made it to the volcano and lava tube before our kids tapped out. The van was clean and comfortable and Dave was a super safe diver. Everything about this tour was well worth it!

Suzie was the best tour guide ever! She really knows the area very well and knew so much history of all the places. The volcano and the waterfalls were spectacular and Suzie really did make you feel like a local. She also took us to Coconut grill - can we just say the BEST lobster roll EVER!! We’ve had lobster rolls at Montauk and New England area - Coconut Grill has set the expectation.

Suzie picked us up from the airport at 0700 and it was 7 hours of great experiences from there onwards. We had a great time seeing the volcanoes, steam vents, lava tubes, waterfalls, and black sand beaches. Suzie also took us to a great lunch spot and mochi shop. She was professional and funny throughout! 10/10

Suzie gave us an amazing tour of the Volcanoes National Park, beautiful Rainbow waterfalls, a black sand beach, Big Island Candies, Mauna Loa Macadamia nuts, and lunch and a tour of The Artist Cottage at Volcano Garden Arts. Suzie was very friendly and informative, and she took really good care of us. I highly recommend her tour!

This was sold as Hawaii Volcanoes National Park & Black Sand Beach through the Princess Cruise Line. The driver did not stick to the schedule. Kept adding extra stops. Never asked if we had reasons to be back to the ship on time. Ran hours late getting back to the ship. At one point in heavy fog/mist she was driving 70 mph while texting on her cell phone. These are just a few of the things that happened today.

Suzie is a wonderful guide. We stopped at the bakery for malasadas, went to black sand beach (saw turtles!) the volcano was very cool even though it was not erupting. We also got to walk through the lava tube, Suzie kept us moving so we could see everything but didn’t feel rushed. She was informative and fun to spend the day with. Everyone on our 12 passenger bus got to know each other, it was a great day

Suzie, our tour guide was very warm and welcoming from the moment she introduced herself. She was a very safe driver and was able to tell us about the points of interest along the way. I appreciated her vast knowledge base about the volcanoe and she showed us her personal video of it erupting.

Susie was the most amazing tour guide. She was fun and full of historical information and all the fun folklore. She was very interactive with all of us tourists and really made the whole tour enjoyable. She even made sure to take the time to show us little extras along the way, making sure we were able to enjoy all of what Hawaii has to offer. Please ask for her specific. Originally booked with Hawaiii Tours which went bust. Thankfully Go Tours Hawaii after taking over the business honoured our tour despite not having records of it. We can’t praise them highly enough in their endeavour to support my birthday treat.

We went on the Volcano Tour that left from Oahu! We had a great time! We had a wonderful experience going to see Rainbow Falls and the Steam Vents, and Suzie was an amazing driver and conversationalist! We loved hearing stories; we had an extremely fun time overall! We were lucky to have a small group that got along well together! There were some places to buy things but I never felt pressured to do so. The vibe was relaxed, which was great, and I got to see what I wanted with a better idea of how I could spend a longer trip!

Suzie was my guide on what ended up being a private tour of Hilo, Kiluea, and all around the big island. She shared a lot of history and stories about the landmarks we saw and had such a joy and excitement about the island that was contagious. Our driver/tour guide was Suzie and she was phenomenal!! From her amazing personality the moment we got out of the airport to her wealth of knowledge during the entire tour. We were so lucky to see the most beautiful sites of the Volcano National Park, Rainbow Waterfall and a black sand beach! My husband and I truly had the best day trip on the big island because of Suzie, a must book!!

Sue was an awesome tour guide! She knew so much about Hilo and the surrounding area on the Big Island. She was fun to be with and showed us a lot of sites, including Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Rainbow Falls, humongous Banyan trees, Waipio Valley, and Laupahoehoe. She also recommended a DELICIOUS lobster club sandwich at the Coconut Grill. Our family of five enjoyed our day with her and the relaxed, fun tour.
